Really enjoyed staying here. This is a 1905 home, that has 3 separate living areas- the top level, main floor & basement. We stayed in the upper level, as soon as you enter the house, you have a flight of stairs- so may be an issue for some folks. It is a lovely space, with an enclosed porch on the front of the house that looks out on to the street (it's like a little lookout point) and a deck on the back with a gas grill. The kitchen is tiny, at best fits 2 people, but it is well stocked- good sharp knives, which you hardly ever see in a rental, nespresso coffee machine. There was a bottle of wine and snacks upon our arrival, which we really appreciated when we checked in. The IGA grocery is walking distance, about a block away. Plenty of restaurants close by too. If you want to go downtown, Stanley Park, etc, Uber is available in less than 5 minutes. The beds are comfy, nice linens in bathroom. The bathroom set up is a little different- there is a double vanity with combo tub/shower and next door in a tiny room is a toilet and sink. That does make it nice so 1 person can use toilet while another is in shower. The host, Chad was quick to respond for questions. I couldn't find the washer-- it is out back in a separate shed; downside is- it is shared by all 3 apartments in the house. Would stay here again; loved the quiet neighborhood & seeing the other beautiful homes in the area

This made for a perfect vacation base for three generations of our family. The house is located in a beautiful part of the upscale neighbourhood of Kitsilano, a short walk to the beach, grocery stores, bakeries, coffee shops and many quirky fun shops. The hosts welcomed us with lovely treats and were immediately responsive to our needs and questions. The home offers three very comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, children's toys and books, and three televisions! As travellers with carry-on only, the washer and dryer were much appreciated. There were dining tables both inside and outside that could accommodate our family of six. Would love to stay here again!

Great place and owner very accommodating and quick to respond as we had to come to town a day early. This was much appreciated. House was organized and immaculate.

We had a wonderful stay in this character home in Kitsilano. We were a group of five adults and one infant. The property was immaculate in terms of cleanliness. Everything was well stocked, including a lovely welcome gift basket. We appreciated a little den off of the bedrooms where we set up our child's crib. Only one thing to note is is not two bathrooms, but one room with a toilet and one room with a shower. This was great because someone could use the shower area while someone was in the toilet. Highly recommend the property and the owner was very responsive and kind. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a super apartment in a great area. It is well equipped & Brad is very communicative & easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay in this spacious characterful & comfortable space.

We had a lovely stay. The house is lovely, the owners clearly take pride in the home, everything was well thought out and well taken care of. The location is perfect - close to the city and the beach areas, the owners were super helpful in getting us checked in and oriented with some suggestions of restaurants and things to do. Great overall
