We thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- we had an end unit facing the bay. It was spacious with a full kitchen and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The heated floors in the bathroom were a welcomed treat! And the washer & dryer were a nice feature as this was the second half of our trip after a week on a cruise ship. Liz was a fabulous host. She even left us a welcome bottle of bubbly to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday! Her recommendations for restaurants and a local art gallery were spot on and much appreciated. The Lighthouse is perfectly located just off the top of the Spit. So you can either turn left to go onto the Spit and everything it has to offer, or hang a right and go into downtown Homer to enjoy its galleries and restaurants. Don't miss AJ's Steakhouse in the old downtown section or the Broken Oar on the spit -- our favorites!! And if you're into fishing Captain Travis Blount with Blount Adventures is your man!

This property is better than the pictures show. It is quite well appointed and includes heated, bathroom, floors, and laundry equipment. It is conveniently located, and a wonderful accommodation. Liz greeted us with fresh croissants and homemade butter. What could be better
