Loved this little lake cottage. Perfect for the two of us. Had everything we needed & the neighborhood was very nice. Beautiful location, right next to the water, so pretty! Wish we could have stayed longer.

We travel for business a great deal and we jump at the chance to stay somewhere other than a hotel. Lakeview Cottage was top notch from A to Z and is the cleanest rental we've ever experienced. The views of the lake are incredible and the sunsets were second to none. We look forward to returning next year!

Myself and family have stayed here before. It’s wonderful with view of lake, immaculate with lively decor. I stayed to be with my grandson and his family for his birthday. We all enjoyed the pool and lake beach

This property was awesome. We loved our stay it was so quite and the neighbors were friendly. The pool and putt putt was awesome. We didn't get to do much due to why we were down there but we enjoyed every minute. The owner was very great staying in contact and super friendly. Will definitely be on the return list.

This spot was perfect for our small family of 4. Awesome view from the deck and our kids (6 and 9) loved the pool and beach area. We are definitely planning to come back.

We had a wonderful time!
We spent 95% of the time out on the deck overlooking the lake! We watched a thunder and lightning rain storm from the deck! Fantastic!

The property was very clean, check in was easy. A very quiet neighborhood. Close to Morrow Mountain State Park if your interested in trails. Very much enjoyed myself and relaxing.

This little place by the lake was so relaxing. Everything about my stay was prefect. To able to wake or watch the sun go down on the lake was breath taking. Lots of scenery photos. It is well maintained. This owner leaves you detailed instruction and if you follow them, there will never be a reason to complain. It was my first travel assignment and this place made my stay enjoyable and relaxing which is exactly what I need at the time, Everywhere and I mean everywhere, everyone was friendly and helpful. In the 13 weeks that I stayed I only ran into one rude man in the community. That only one, which is usually unheard of. The owner made my stay enjoyable, with one text he would respond immediately no matter how early or late it was and when I would contact it was not about the rental itself. Half way through my assignment my husband had to have surgery, which meant I had to go and get him and bring him with me. The owner did not have a problem with change the rules and allowing my husband to recovery at the house by the lakeside. It wonderful for so many reason. I would definitely stay again. Well worth the price of the rental. Will come and stay when I can take advantage of all the water and lake activities.

Myself and a friend were attending a JEEP Jamboree event at the Uwharrie and looking for a close place. This small home is neat, we’ll stocked, nice view of the lake and inside a cool, gated community that has a really neat and friendly bar/restaurant called Cheers. A nice find and we’ll likely be back! Home is small but for a couple, small family with kids or 2 friends (if one is ok with pull out couch) it is a great place to stay. Owner is awesome to work with.

Beautiful lake view from this immaculately clean, well-decorated and fully stocked home. The large porch overlooks the lake and we enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and hanging out on the porch. Great community with plenty to do especially if you have kids or grandkids.

Upgraded Property
Property had mechanical upgrades. Freshly painted and well kept. Large covered porch with one end covered offering privacy and a wind break. Elevated for a nice view of the lake. We appreciated having electric outlets available.

Great girl time
Getaway with my two adult daughters and my 9 month old grandson. Enjoyed the tiny house and the playground snd just relaxing. Awesome dinner at Scallawags!

Cute, clean home in a resort like area
Great time staying at this property with a view of the lake. The house was very clean and cute. The beds/couch were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly and there is a small grocery and casual bar/restaurant in the subdivision (a plus for this area!). The owner was very responsive and great with communication. My family would definitely stay here again.
