Such a large property with great outdoor and indoor spaces for large groups! We enjoyed spending time on our boat in Lake Gaston :)

We had a great time at this house for our family vacation. We loved all the amenities, and the house was very clean upon arrival. The host Dawn was always very friendly and gracious in her communication. We were so thankful to have this time together and look forward to returning!

The amenities were great. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed using the canoe, kayak, board games, cds and fire pit. The only complaint is having to wash the sheets and towels before departure. We ended up using our own, because we saw no way to get them all washed before checking out at 10:00 am.

We had a nice stay at Thanksgiving with family - the host Dawn was very accommodating and was fast to answer my questions prior to our stay so we knew what to pack to be able to cook Thanksgiving dinner in the house (for 9 people). The house was a great size to accommodate our group, although the kitchen could use some additional plates/silverware. We loved the kayak and canoe provided - they were great to explore the quiet part of the lake the house is situated on. We had some issues with hot water and the dishwasher not working, but Dawn was quick to get a repairman to the house to address the problem. Overall, it was a nice place to spend a few days over the Thanksgiving holiday with family.

Whole family had a blast at this place. Highly recommended!!

All enjoyed vacationing on the lake. The dock gave easy access to boats & water & the kayaking was great. There is a nice “park/playground” nearby with sand and shallow water access for the ‘Littles’ . House has large pots & pans for cooking for a crowd.

We held our family Celebration at the lake house. The pictures are accurate. The view of the lake was amazing. We really had a relaxing time and loved the quiet we had. I highly recommend renting a boat nearby, we loved being able to dock the boat right there at the house

The property was nice and fit our family nicely. The open space on the 2nd floor was a nice size and comfortable to relax and play games. We enjoyed the screened in porch. We picked this property because we didn't want stairs going to the water with the kids. The cove was very quite which we also enjoyed. There is a boat ramp/community area in the subdivision but you have to pay extra per day to use. We were not aware of this until we went there to use the ramp. The things that we didn't like about this property is that we all have Verizon and we had no service or 1 bar the whole time. Internet is satellite and we were not able to watch TV it kept buffering. WiFi was super slow so we were pretty much off the grid all week. The dishwasher wasn't working while we were there. The grill didn't work very well. The water at the dock was very shallow. We had to keep reminding the kids that they could not jump off the dock so they would not get hurt. One day someone showed up to pump the septic tank and the homeowner did not let us know they were coming. The next day someone came to mow the grass, again we did not know. We had our chairs, kayaks, etc in the yard. He was nice and said he would come back after we checked out. We knew ahead of time that we had to wash all linens prior to checkout. We washed the towels the night before but it was definitely a struggle to get all sheets washed and dried by checkout. Communication could have been better.

We enjoyed spending time with our adult children, spouses and grandkids. The layout of your home was perfect for such a group. Thank you for allowing us this opportunities and the memories.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was laid out perfectly for our large family gathering of 12 with all the common areas on the middle level. The screened back deck with hammock and gorgeous view of the lake was my favorite place to relax. We enjoyed using the canoe provided, however did not use the kayak because there was no paddle, only canoe oars. Swimming by the dock was enjoyable because the lake temperature was perfectly cool and it was shallow enough to not be alarming. One of the boards that the ladder hooks onto was broken so my husband tied that side of the ladder to the board underneath to make it safe. The beach area was very close and has a fun slide in the lake. Dawn is very timely and gracious in her communication. Maintenance was needed (the dishwasher didn't work and the grill was very greasy and didn't work), but the house and location were perfect for us.

My family had an amazing time. The home was fantastic and the host was very accommodating and attentive. Thank you for sharing your home and helping us realize my husbands dream of living on a lake, if at least for a week :-). Thank you!

We rent a home as a Christmas gift to our family. This was our second year and second home on Lake Gaston. The home had great space, a beautiful view, could canoe to a beachy park with a slide and the kids loved it, s'mores at the fire pit in the evenings.... Lovely

We experienced great communication from start to finish with the host. The home was smartly modernized and clean and as well as extremely well stocked with essentials. As we were vacationing with our dog and children, we were very pleased with all the safety information and mechanisms in place, including accessible fire extinguishers and contact information for the local hospital and vet. Overall, we had a great experience!

We visited this property with my mom and our daughter/son-in-law. We took up 3 bedrooms and each of us had our own bathroom. While this is 3 floors, the main lounging area is on the 2nd floor. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed the screened porch very much. We launched a pontoon boat around the corner in the Tanglewood ramp and docked at this property. The water near the dock is quite shallow - we saw a boat inadvertently beached and had to be towed. Other than that, the views were beautiful and our stay was quite relaxing.

We fished, floated, paddle boarded, kayaked and played games daily!! The location and neighborhood amenities are also nice. My husband played 9 holes of golf most mornings. The screened porch was a favorite hang out spot for dinner and games in the evenings. Dawn was very responsive to questions before our trip and was very accommodating! Lake life is wonderful! We can't wait to return!

The host was very responsive to any questions we had throughout the stay. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and swimming right off the back dock and making s'mores by the fire pit. Just a short walk away is the beach area- where the kids had a great time on the slide . We also made use of the community pool on the very hot days. The house was spacious and accommodating for everyone.

Wonderful home on the lake! The view and lake access was incredible. Plenty of space for our family with grandparents. Great area for visiting, meals and separate sleeping areas. Furnishings were nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed to fix meals. Screened deck was a cool place to hang out and play games at the table. Easy walk down the yard to the lake. Boat access, it was just a couple of streets away to launch. Took less time to get boat to dock than car parked back at house! We enjoyed a trip to Rosement Winery and a little shopping trip into South Hill. This is definitely a great place to stay and we look forward to our next visit. Communication on rental was quick, responsive and flexible with check in time.
