We loved this cozy cabin! Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, easy access to the lake, were all great. The house is located close to town, with plenty of places being a nice walk away. There's a lot to do within a close drive as well. Groceries are conveniently located on the drive into town. We loved getting ice cream from Mountain Mist.

I have to say that this property is just waiting for a good time...location worked for us as we have a small boat and enjoy all these waters for fishing...it was a "first time" fishing for our 2 granddaughters and they are now hooked...was nice because there is a little dock we could tie the boat up at...never dull because there is lots of boat traffic to watch while sitting and enjoying the dock...the house has that ADK feel and was very clean and ready for it's company, adequately supplied and lots of room...whether you're already well-acquainted with these mountains or staying for the first time you will get that mountain feeling right away...I thought it was a good place for younger children and is close to town for groceries, restaurants and general needs. The only idea I would add is that, if we keep getting these over-heated summers like we have the past few years, an AC window unit would help to survive the extreme heat... but overall we had a fantastic time with family!

The lake house was large enough to accommodate our family + our dog. Close to both Saranac and Lake Placid for day trips and hikes. Beautiful lake view with dock. Just wish the road wasn’t so close to hear traffic over nature.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The location was great, we were close to town and an easy drive to lake placid and surrounding areas for hiking and sightseeing. Property was exactly what we were looking for and we could even bring our pup which was an added bonus.

An amazing place, walking distance to town and on the lake. It was quiet. Even though u are close to town plenty of wildlife, deer swimming, geese, ducks, and plenty of privacy. It has a beautiful fireplace and comfortable beds. Definitely plan on returning in the near future! Lyndsey the owner was fantastic!

Was a great place to stay, loved waking up looking out to the lake. Appreciated the flexibility to allow our college student to stay with us for Easter when she originally planned to stay in her dorm! The house was clean and we loved the gas fireplace with the chillier weather, super cozy!

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin on the lake. The cabin was very clean and spacious. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location in Saranac Lake was very close to the Main Street shops and restaurants. We were also close to many hiking trails and other towns such as Tupper Lake and Lake Placid were within a 20-30 minute drive.

The property is in town but feels a little secluded at end of driveway. The building has an old camp feel with nicely upgraded kitchen and bath. Very comfortable for a getaway.

The house was beautiful and cozy. We were there in -23 degree weather and the inside was definitely warm enough. The driveway down to the lower level is a little steep and narrow, and in winter weather needs caution and good tires. This is described in the check-in process. Overall it was an excellent location right on the lake.

Property was spacious and clean. Cooking utensils and linens provided. Really nice view of the lake and quiet location.

We were very happy with our stay at the Hemlock cabin. The kitchen, bathrooms, etc. were very nice and updated. The largest bedroom felt like a comfortable hotel room. We would definitely rent again!

Waterfront on relatively narrow section of Lake Flower (moderate traffic noise from opposite shore). In a cluster of rentals down a steep driveway from a quiet road. The dogs loved it. Totally clean and well supplied kitchen with toaster/coffee maker/ microwave/ dishwasher. Layout was king bedroom adjacent to queen bedroom with hallway full bath then twin bedroom suite behind kitchen with its own full bath with corner shower. Many towels. Gas fireplace in family room with fire area outside. Nice camp ambience. Shallow walk in beach with nice dock directly in front of camp with many boats to share.

This was a generally relaxing Adirondack vacation location. The place was rustic, well equipped, and clean, save for a few things like the absence of no slip hardware or grip mats in the showers (my 87-year old Mom took a bad fall), the absence of laundry equipment despite there being limited laundromat access in Saranac Lake, a couple of screen holes, and a malfunctioning dehumidifier leaving the rear bedroom musty-smelling during an extremely hot, humid, uncomfortable vacation week. Although technically on Lake Flower, the cottage, which is basically a duplex (our adjoining neighbors were fortunately quiet and friendly), is actually located on a narrow noisy boat trafficked strip of the lake before it opens up, and is burdened by very noisy vehicle traffic traversing the highway located less than 100 yards away, parallel to the front of the cottage right across the aforementioned narrow strip of lake. On the plus side, Lindsey, the owner, was very responsive and easy to deal with. For the price, I'd keep looking even though available choices in the Saranacs are limited.

I chose this property as I was traveling with my elderly parents 87 and 82 with some mobility issues. Unlike most lake properties, this cabin had a fantastic flat large area that everyone could use - no steep hills to gain lake access. Great communication with the Owner. Instructions were good too.

We had a great time! The house was amazingly clean. There were 5 adults and we all had plenty of room. But the best part was the private yard, dock and most important the beautiful lake!

I found the house to be clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The location is close to town for convenience but tucked away enough to give you privacy. The house was perfect for my family of four. Lindsay was always responsive when messaging. I would definitely recommend this property for your stay!

My two sons, one dog and I stayed at this cabin. Our experience was great. We were able to ski, ice climb and hike The weather cooperated we had snow but not too much snow. We cooked all but one of our meals in the cabin and it had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay Karen G.
