My friends and I had the best time at this house for our girls weekend! The home was clean, inviting, and cozy, with everything we could have needed. We spent hours talking on the screened in porch with a beautiful lake view and everyone slept very comfortably (the sheets are magically soft!). Janelle was such a gracious and generous host! Thank you for making our time together so wonderful!!

We really enjoyed this cozy 3 bedroom home. It felt like my own home and was very clean with all the necessities and more were available! The view of the lake was ok, but would be nice to see a little more of lake in august when trees are in bloom. The outdoor screened in patio was awesome, front porch was welcoming and comfy and plenty of room to park in the front. The owner was very kind and accomodating to our needs. We would definitely go back recommend staying there!

The weekend was perfect! This property is so wonderful I’d purchase it if I could! The house is very well equipped and so comfortable. We cooked, sat on the screened in porch and watched it rain, we had movie nights on the sofa, and watched the sunset without leaving the backyard. It’s a relaxing getaway!

The rental was exactly as advertised, and we had no surprises. We spent a leisurely Thanksgiving morning waking up over coffee to a view of the lake before going to visit family, and Thanksgiving evening, eating some leftover pumpkin pie and binging Netflix on the Smart TV in a very comfortable and relaxing setting.

We loved our stay. Clean cozy and the complimentary snacks and drinks provided were a great touch. The inside fireplace and porch overlooking the water made this house very relaxing. Would recommend to others and hope to come back again.

Lovely views of the lake from the back deck and morning sunrise views over the pastures from the front porch. Very comfortable and cozy seating areas inside and on the back screened porch and patio. Perfect for our annual sister weekend gathering. The host was very responsive. The only thing we missed was an inside dining table. But we unanimously agreed this was a favorite spot for our get together and we plan to go back!

My family had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at "On Lake Time". It is a newly built, nicely furnished cabin that is large enough for at least six people. The kitchen is large and makes for a great gathering area to socialize or play games on the large island. The back porch has a nice view of Barren River Lake and the area is very peacful and relaxing. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely home with great view of the lake through the trees. No direct access to the lake from the house but that’s pretty much how the lake works. Easy to contact owner. Would definitely stay here again!

The home was perfect for my wife, brother and his family. The three bedrooms, kitchen/living rooms, and outdoor area had plenty of relaxing and comfortable space for the five of us. Shady trees and views of the lake made our stay perfect. We'll be back!

We had a great time and appreciated every detail the owners have provided. We spent all our time on the screened in porch with the lake view. The beds were very comfortable and anything we might have forgotten was easily available.

The owner was quick and kind in answering all our questions, and provided everything needed and more in the kitchen, living, sleeping, and bathroom spaces. The beds were especially comfortable! This was the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. There was nothing the owners did not think of. Plenty of kitchen supplies, and lots of little extras for us to use. Beautiful bedding, nice bath towels, and everything in bath you would need, from bandaids, to nail clippers, and nice lotion. Beautifully decorated
in every room of the house. We loved the fireplace, firepit, and a screened in patio with a beautiful view for fall of the lake. Huge big front yard that the kids loved to play in. We had great communication throughout our stay with the owner. We definitely will be coming back
