Easy check in, great communication with host. Nice location in quant little beach town. As advertised and would definitely stay again. Wish we had more time.

Fantastic quiet location, with good light, great front porch, easy parking, just a block to the beach! Modern, clean, nicely appointed interior with many amenities (orig. listing pics didn't do it justice)-- just kitchen drawers old but workable. Water needs to run a while to get warm, & taste is off so we just got bottled water. Local eating options a bit limited/pricey, but very short drive to Pier, SLO, Pismo. Sarah, nearby manager, was very helpful. Suggestions: a 2nd easy chair & standing reading lamp, a stepstool for high cabinets, more shelves/small cabinets/or even hooks for clothing & stuff. There's a small nook in bathroom for hanging clothes but the bottom shelves are stuffed with 2 comforters. Plenty of wall space in main area or kitchen even for shelves/small cabinets. We definitely hope to be back though :)

Very close to the beach, always love visiting Avila. Thanks to the hosts for a cheerful stay.

The location was excellent: it is safe and walkable to diwntiwn and the beach. 1 1/2 blocks from the beach and restaurants. Many boutique stores in the area. The cottage was as described. It is small but perfect for 2 adults during a weekend getaway. There is a private parking spot next to the cottage which is fantastic since it is hard to get parking in Avila unless you pay for parking at a nearby city parking lot. Tge manager communicated with me which I appreciated. I would go back again.

Super nice and quiet. Perfect spot. One block from beach, three blocks from the golf course. Parked and walked everywhere.

Overall, nice experience. Absolutely great location just 1 block from the beach. Comfy bed, and basic essentials. Needs toaster, and little table in bathroom. I used one of night stands, and set it in the bathroom corner where you hang your clothes - worked well. The tea kettle was convenient for morning tea. Really enjoyed the two adirondack chairs in front. Nice place for a cool drink and people watching. The neighborhood was quiet, clean, and safe. Would do again.

The bed was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped. While there was room for one, there was no chest of drawers. As a result, we had to scramble to establish places to put our clothes. While there was room to add another, there was only one sitting chair in the main room. In order for us to sit together in the main room, we had to use one of the kitchen chairs which was uncomfortable. The bathroom shelves were overstuffed with linens as a result of which they could only be used after we emptied and relocated the linens.

Cute place! Always like having a kitchen. Very airy and light and extremely clean. Nice folks managing too.
