All though the cabin wasn’t exactly how the pictures on the website looked, we did have a great time and I did recommend to several of my colleagues and we figured it must’ve looked like that when they first purchased it , because now a lot of things need updating/repairing ,but overall such a charming cozy cabin

Excellent place to stay close to UCONN

We live in a big city and had to go away but not too far from home due to work being done at our home so this was a perfect little getaway for my husband, my 7 year old daughter and me! The house was very clean and well-equipped with anything we needed. Coventry pizza was delicious and is right up the st! Jospeh was a great host!! There’s a little guest sign in book that was so adorable to read from previous guests so we were also excited to add to that!! Fav spot- the living room with the puzzle table and the big couch that opens up!! Thank you for the stress free, relaxing time away!

Good experience

The property has an exposed gas line, uneven flooring and a poorly appointed kitchen. The dog run was handy but some consistent lighting would have been appreciated. The outdoor lighting was motion activated and motion sensor didn’t reach the dog run.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this little cottage. It was cozy, clean, ans quiet. We played tons of board games, made a lot of food, and got to hike some trails nearby. Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely place. However, the smell of animal feces was too unbearable for me. I shortened my trip to one day. Losing a full day of my monies paid.

This lake house was cute and well stocked! Parking was great and easy to park our truck. The lake was bashful, once figured out how to got down the street and down to it! The house had everything we needed and then some. A great place to relax!!

Spent a long weekend at this rental with my boyfriend We had a few hiccups in the beginning such as not being able to turn on television as there was a light switch in the kitchen for it and not having hot water in the shower however both issues were promptly taken care of by owners. It was very relaxing and well needed stress free weekend Thanks Joseph

My friend and I had an enjoyable time at the lake house. Unfortunately, the lake was not available due to algae bloom/cyanotoxins. The property manager did not let us know that this was the case until after we had already booked the property, though the announcement about the lake closure had taken place a few days before. We would have appreciated knowing about it before booking, as we were particularly interested in spending time on the lake. The house itself was fairly comfortable and had everything we needed for a few days away.

The lake house is super cute! Just enough space to spread out and take a break from our tiny Brooklyn apartment, but not too huge as to feel overwhelming. Very comfortable and cozy! The outdoor spaces are very lovely as well.

Everything about the property was accurately described, the property manager was easily reached and quickly responded to my questions. I would recommend renting this property.

My first impression was how small it is compared to the pictures, but it’s perfect! I imagined it in a put in the middle of nowhere near the lake for some reason since it’s what I wanted, but though it is near the lake it’s definitely not in the middle of nowhere as it has a lot of surroundings houses. I layed down in the couch and it had dog hair which didn’t necessarily bother me since it wasn’t a lot but my my husband was able to find a lint roller and didn’t mind cleaning it up. The host did leave enough utilities in case anything came across and we definitely appreciated that. We did get a call telling us a noise alarm had come off, and to please lower whatever we had on. That seemed odd, as you couldn’t hear the noise outside the house to bother the neighbors but it definitely didn’t bother us as it’s their house, their rules. The mattresses were uncomfortable but not horrendously unbearable. There was a few food suggestions from the area and we tried conventry pizza but tried it’s burgers and wow, it will change your life!! It was pretty cold the days we went but they have a thermometer and it stood nice and warm inside the whole time. They had towels which we were grateful for since we had forgotten ours. Overall a nice place.

Great stay quiet place.

We stayed here for a week. The bed and sofa very comfortable. The owner is extremely responsive to questions and/or issues and very friendly. We would stay again for sure ... maybe next time we would wait until the summer or at least not the dead of winter.

What a lovely property! A much need respite from the craziness of work and hoping to connect w natural surroundings! Cabin is super cute with fun Americana Lakeside decor. The lounging couch was perfect for snuggling in and binge watching our shows! Our little dachshund enjoyed the dog run and wandering the grounds ven startling a beautiful doe nearby. Lots of birds, nearby lake, great food in the vicinity. We couldn’t have been happier. Already trying to figure out a return visit. House was warm and inviting, with plenty of space to feel comfortable! Amenities well above the very reasonable cost of our stay! Suggest this splendid setting for all visitors. Ps the neighborhood was quiet! Thank you Joseph for hosting us!

The listing was slightly misleading as it was not on the lake but a quick walk from it. The insulation was not super for the colder nights but was not bad. The beds were some of the least comfortable I have ever slept on. There were also large brown stains on the sheets in the bedroom in the back that almost looked like blood. The curtain was also stained with a large brown stain at the top. The dog run was the biggest disappointment. There is a large hole between the house and the fence which allowed by 80 pound dog to squeeze through. That should tell you all you need to know about the size of the hole. I contacted the host for something to block it with, but they said there wasn't anything. I would look else where for a place that has an area for dogs.
