This house is beautiful! The kitchen was well-stocked and the house had all the amenities you’d want. The location was perfect for access to Windsor and Healdsburg. We would definitely book again.

This home was spectacular for my sister’s 50th birthday trip! Everything about the home felt luxe and comfortable. We made use of the fire pit and pool every day. The little details like the wine fridge and and having some extra spices that previous guests had left made prepping our breakfasts super easy. If you’re traveling in and plan on cooking, no need to buy olive oil/ salt & pepper, etc. There are a lot of kitchen items to use and all the pots and pans you could ever need! Super enjoyable rental and so convenient for getting around wine country- we hope to be back! A word of caution: The home is listed as “no pets” and there was definitely a dog bowl/dog treats in the closet and the seat at the end of our bed had animal hair on it. I’m wildly allergic to dogs so initially I freaked out, but using my inhalers and allergy meds helped. I guess that’s the risk with a rental where no one is checking you in. Some people may not care about house rules but it could have been a huge problem for my lungs. I hope that Vacasa does a better job of monitoring animals or being clear if the owner of the home has any animals.

The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We were very comfortable and really loved the private back yard and pool area. Fans were provided for 2 of the main floor bedrooms but could have used one more as it did get a little warm at night (although certainly not unbearable)

Herb retreat is a perfect couples or large family retreat for visiting Healdsburg, the Alexander Valley and other spots in Sonoma. It was new, clean and well appointed with great bedrooms, kitchen/great room, and outdoor living worthy of a spa or hotel. We were close enough to Healdsburg to get into town or wine taste whenever we wanted. I expect we'll be back.

This house is exactly as pictured. It accommodated our family reunion perfectly. The outdoor area was spacious and the pool just what was needed during the hot weather. If I was ever in need of a house in this area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I was not able to get house rules until I booked the VRBO (even after contacting the host). When booking, the site states that once you’ve booked, you cannot get a full refund, because we were booking within three weeks of the trip. The place looked so appealing that we jumped for it. Once we received the house rules, we had second thoughts, but if we cancelled, we would only get 1/2 our money back. Quiet hours are stated at 10 pm. Once receiving the booking info, the rules state 9 pm and quiet hours literally mean no activities outside, even if quiet. During the summer, it doesn’t get dark until 9:30 pm. Why have a fire pit offered, if you can’t even use it? There was always a rush after pool time to get dinner made and still have time to enjoy the rest of the property before having to go inside for the night. The house is wonderful. It is stocked with everyday needs: towels, most kitchen appliances, pantry basics, bedding, extra blankets. The pool does not disappoint- it is as beautiful as indicated. The pool house also stores lots of blow up pool floats and a plug-in air pump.

This house was simply spectacular - brand new/recently renovated house with large backyard/pool area that is great for groups/entertaining. Great layout with bedrooms at the end of the house and an open kitchen/family room that comfortably accommodated group gatherings. Pool house and pool deck provided additional gathering space making for an amazing weekend for a group of friends celebrating a 50th birthday. A great house that I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again while exploring Sonoma wine country.

This house was perfect for our girls' trip. Stunning backyard, bright and comfortable house. The pictures do not lie. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the 101. We stayed here the 3rd week of September and were glad we had not paid to heat the pool--the cover (easy to open/close) kept it at a warm temperature. The outdoor firepit and outdoor grill were very nice amenities. No issues with 6 people using the WiFi at the same time. Solid water pressure (tip: let the water run to heat up--the water heater is likely tankless). For serious cooking, the kitchen was lacking some items but we improvised; however, it was well-stocked with glasses/mugs/plates/utensils and a wide array of spices. Huge refrigerator/freezer and very nice column wine refrigerator, capacious washer/dryer and all appliances were high-end. Although on an airport flight path, planes were infrequent, sound was barely noticeable from inside and flights ended by or before 10 PM. The house lay-out works well for friend groups, families or several couples. Highly recommend!

Perfect and lovely property!

The house was so spacious and perfect for a group. The pool was very nice and warm. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

There was nothing about this home that was short of perfect. Plenty of space. Comfortable furnishings. Clean pool kept at a perfect temperature. It felt like home.

Our group of graduating loved our stay at Herb Ranch. The kids loved the pool and pool house. Everything in the house was new and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.

We rented this home for a girls trip. The house was absolutely amazing and beautiful. I initially was concerned with it being four bedrooms 3.5 baths at 1365 sq feet-but the home definitely felt much bigger the backyard was absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were big bright and beautiful and easily accommodated our party of 10!

The location is close to downtown Windsor and hotels where our guests stayed and Healdsburg, with easy access to the 101. We live in driving distance and would absolutely stay here for another getaway locally to have a lovely home base from which to explore and enjoy the area. It was lovely for our wedding being able to shuttle back and forth to have a few family and friends visit during the day, hang out by the pool and share meals. Very relaxing spot as well. This house was the perfect local staycation for us. Plenty of rooms and beds, enough towels and kitchen supplies. We loved the huge backyard and utilized the heated pool (must request before checking in).

This home was an excellent place for our long weekend away from the city. The pool was nice (don’t forget to get it heated up) and the outdoor kitchen was a nice centerpiece for our daytime relaxation. The house was very well appointed. Kid friendly, and even had an office to duck into for some quick work meetings.
