Almost new refresh, very clean and super convenient to downtown so no need to ever having to pull the car out.

Loved our stay here, super convenient location, in walking/biking distance to Thames St and Bellevue Ave, Cliff Walk, International Tennis HOF. Quick drives to the awesome summer cottages of the Gilded Age and famous Ocean Drive. Room was clean and spacious, parking location and availability was great. Our son uses a wheelchair, and accessibility was wonderful. Loved walking over to Storer Park to watch the sunset and boats, and down Washington St with all the beautifully restored 18th century homes. Newport is a gem, we will return for sure!

The property itself was great. The room was not ready at the promised time, but once we got in, it was as described (although view is of the parking lot, not the water.) But booker beware - the "host" of the property is not actually the host. Koala is third party booker for Wyndham time shares and the "host" has ZERO interest in accommodating requests. Our original reservation was for 3 adults and a child. We had a last minute family emergency that required one of the adults to have surgery, which ultimately changed the travel plans for everyone. We were still within the cancellation policy and in hindsight should have just cancelled the whole reservation, but we were traveling for a wedding and were determined for part of our party to go. When we requested the change, the "host" refused saying the Wyndham system wouldn't allow it. Fine. We kept the reservation as is and we were prepared to just check out one day early. As we got closer to our arrival, we asked for the name on the reservation to be changed from mine to my husband's. By this point, he was the only one able to make the trip due to the medical emergency. The "host" first tried to charge a $100 change fee, then came back later and refused to change the name on the reservation, blaming "Wyndham policy." The host did promise that there would be a note in the reservation, allowing my husband to check in without me, no problem. When my husband arrived, not only did the property have no record of him checking in without me, but when they called me to confirm that he could check in they were shocked that we were refused a name change to the reservation and said that is absolutely not their policy. So if you are looking for location, this is a great place. But I would never book thru Koala again. Awful customer service.

Rooms were clean and well stocked. Hotel was adorable, but did not get to use amenities due to our short stay.
