This home was just that, a true home with the most welcoming feeling. The owners are so quick to reach out and make sure you have all you need. This home was one we are anxious to visit again and again.

First time staying at Calm Tide and WOW it was perfect. Had a 2yr old with us and the back yard was a great place for her to work off some energy. The house and outdoor shower (love love love) were great. Will be back for sure!

This location was perfect for our recent vacation for us & our two young children with lots of great amenities, close to downtown, access to paddling and an easy drive to nearby beaches. Inside, the living space was neat, clean and well thought out. The two bedrooms were spacious for us and the kids and the pull out futon (and bonus ADU in the back) also would give lots of options for a bigger group to stay. We especially loved the outdoor shower which allowed us to clean up easily after outdoor adventures on the water. The location was about perfect, it was under a mile to walk to the Beaufort waterfront for dining, half a mile to a public launch for kayaking or paddle boarding, and less than a 10 minute drive to Radio Island for the beach. The neighborhood was charming with lots of friendly neighbors. The owners were super duper, extremely communicative and very accommodating. They checked in with us right after booking, ahead of our arrival, and a few times during our stay - not in an obtrusive way - but rather to see if there were any needs they could help with. For sure we will be back and could not have asked for a better place to stay!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. We have stayed in Beaufort many times, and this was our favorite stay. The backyard was perfect for grilling out, and they were so generous to provide kayaks and paddle boards. The house is perfect, great location to water and front street, will definitely stay again!

The hosts were absolutely wonderful. They were always available to answer any questions we had and gave us great suggestions on spots to eat and hangout. The house was perfect and felt like home. We will definitely be visiting again!

Calm Tide in Beaufort NC is a beautiful cottage within walking distance to Front Street where there are great restaurants, shopping, and beautiful water views. We went for a long birthday weekend and it was a great time. The owners were great. Available whenever I had a question. If we ever get back to Beaufort we will be sure to rent Calm Tide again!

We absolutely loved our stay in Beaufort! The house was beautiful and very clean. It is conveniently located near the waterfront and an adorable local park that our kids loved. Jack and Lindi were so helpful and they made the check-in and check-out processes very easy. They have thought of everything and have the house well stocked. We can’t wait to visit again!

My wife and I took a long weekend getaway to Beaufort, and this house worked out perfectly. Very convenient to great restaurants and the water, and the owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and then some! We kayaked one day, went to Atlantic Beach / Fort Macon one day, and took the ferry to Shackleford Banks where we had a great time collecting some large shells and seeing the wild horses. This was our first visit to Beaufort and definitely won’t be our last!

Loved it, especially the property owner! He was very helpful, reached out and was great to work with. Had a small problem that could have waited, but he came over the next day to fix. He and his wife gave us recommendations on restaurants, beaches, golf courses, whatever we needed. RECOMMEND THIS HOME TO EVERYONE!

The house was clean, quiet, and close to downtown. It was well-equipped with everything we needed, including kayaks and bikes. Jack and Lindi were so friendly, and very responsive hosts. All of the restaurants we ate at in downtown Beaufort were great!

What a lovely place for a reunion of three sisters, one from PA and two from NC. Calm Tide is located less than a mile from Taylor Creek and many nice shops and restaurants and the house and yard are perfect. The Beaufort area is fascinating! We were so happy there for our three night stay….hope to return in the near future. VRBO is fortunate to have this listing !

One of the best properties we have stayed through using VRBO. Lots of amenities, owner was very responsive with contact, home layout was perfect for our needs, with great location in quiet neighborhood.

This was an excellent choice for a vacation. Close to everything. Not in the busy part of town but just a very close couple blocks yo everything Beaufort has to offer.

We were welcomed with a lighted porch and deck to a very comfortable and well-equipped cottage. We really enjoyed walking along docks at sunset to wonderful restaurants and returning through quiet neighborhoods of beautiful homes.

We had the pleasure of staying in Jack and LIndi's home during our daughter's wedding in Beaufort! They were kind, generous and responsive hosts and their home was lovely! It was one of our most favorite rental homes in Beaufort and we definitely plan to stay there again. The backyard & deck is inviting and the house is open and able to handle the flow of many people! If there was a higher ranking scale than 5- they would get it in all categories!
