The property was everything we expected and more! The neighborhood was very safe and we felt comfortable letting the teens ride bikes whenever they wanted. Appliances were ultra modern, beds and linens were top of the line. Can’t wait to return and yes, I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. Beautiful house in great location. Realtor was quick to respond to any questions. Quiet neighborhood, close to everything. Easy access to the gulf for fishing or just enjoying the wildlife. We spent one day out on the kayaks and saw manatees, dolphins, and plenty of birds, then went to the beach to photograph the awesome sunset. We definitely didn’t want to leave.

Brought my mom down to fulfill her dream to swim with the manatees. We’ve never done a VRBO and this experience was perfect. Check in was seamless, the house is amazing. Better than the photos and the photos are pretty spectacular. We enjoyed the entire experience! Charity was so easy to communicate with and addressed any concerns/issues promptly. Thank you so much!

We found ourselves wishing we had more time to just hang out at this place. It’s lovely. Many many seating areas. Bikes. Kayaks. Nice kitchen necessities.

From the moment we arrived, waiting for us was a sweet gift from the owner. It only got better from there. The house was better than listed. I would say it was the finer things that made the difference. The linens were plush, the kitchen had everything you needed, the pantry had all the supplies you would want. The owner was so responsive to our needs. You won’t be disappointed. Definitely rated a return trip.

House had lots of porches for relaxing. My teens also enjoyed playing air hockey and pool in the basement. If you take take the kayaks out to the bay at sunset you get an beautiful view.

We enjoyed our stay in Crystal River and the house was just as described and in a great location to the gulf for scalloping. We spent one day in Three Sisters Spring which was beautiful and we had a wonderful time. Communication from Charity was the best I’ve had renting VRBO’s which made checkin and checkout a super easy process. We would definitely stay in this home again in the future.

Was my 58th birthday plus being Father’s Day weekend. I enjoyed a very relaxing time with my husband and children and grandchildren. The place was beautiful. And charity was a wonderful host. Will be booking with her again.

Fantastic - exactly as described. One of our best vacation rental experiences. Exceptionally clean, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. Super location in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Thoroughly enjoyed two screened porches overlooking the lovely canal. We took our morning coffee on one and enjoyed our evening dinner on the other. Communication with the property manager was exceptional with prompt, clear conveyance of check-in and -out procedures and answers to all questions. A professionally-rendered guest pamphlet provided great insight on things to do and places to eat in the Crystal River area. Host-provided kayaks allowed us to explore the canal and nearby estuary which teemed with fish, birds of all types, a few dolphin and what we think was an alligator! The Crystal River area is a nature lover’s paradise with loads of walking trails, water-related activities and access to the Gulf. One of our best outings was a tour of King’s Bay on a pontoon boat where we got close up views of several manatees. Lots of good restaurants both on and near the Bay. Highly recommend Dixie Shores!

Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home. Great location to all the attractions. We were able to go fishing, swim with the mantatees, fan boat ride through the mangroves, and saw the Phillies home opener in Clearwater. House had all the amenities to relax after a busy day.

I don't think I've ever stayed at a vacation rental where the house is better than the pictures. This house has it all. There are two screened in porches which is where we ended up hanging out most of the time. Also, from the porches you get a perfect view of the sunset over the bay. The neighborhood is nicely kept, quiet, and laid back. The inside of the house has a perfect open floor plan, with the master upstairs. The master is huge with an awesome bathroom. I would definitely go back. There aren't many traditional beaches in this part of Florida, but a plus is that there is a nice beach up the road from the house (about a 5 minute drive).

I wish I could give this property 10 stars. The hosts, Charity and Michael deserve it. Everything we needed was in this house. Charity was always attentive and quick to answer any questions. Such a beautiful person who wants each of her guests to have a memorable stay. The property was very clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Charity has put so many nice touches inside and outside to make it feel like home. Beds were good, all linens were of quality with plenty of towels. 👍 The kitchen was very well equipped. It is located in a quiet, very nice development at the end of the street (with the best neighbors). We had a wonderful 56 night stay here so you know we loved it. We have been doing VRBO for years and this is our best experience ever.

Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. The area is quiet, the home was exquisitely decorated and spacious. The property manager was personable and so thoughtful — going above and beyond any other person we’ve encountered at other properties. This sunny retreat was sheer perfection. Wow, talk about above and beyond any expectation that i had. She was awesome and played a crucial role in my family having a great weekend.

This house is perfectly located for fishing & scalloping. It’s better than we expected, well kept, upgraded, beautifully decorated and has everything you need. We loved having multiple porches from upstairs to downstairs and being able to sit close to water and relax in the hammock! Great views to wake up and enjoy coffee and settle at night with a glass of wine. The house is in a great location with easy access to the river and ocean. My husband of course enjoyed having a boat lift and and place on the dock to clean the boat and fish. The owner was very engaging and ensured we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this home for a family coming to the area. We love Crystal River and will be staying here again!

Super impressed by the home upon arrival. Biggest house on the block at the end on the cul-de-sac. The home has a beautiful entry, a ton of outside seating, plenty of inside seating, big kitchen and the master suite is awesome. The rain head shower is perfect after a long day on the water. There is an outside shower, dock with boat lift, rod holders on the dock. The neighborhood is very nice and extremely quiet, located perfectly to explore the town or the water. The views from the dock alone were amazing, we had a pod of dolphin playing behind the house! The house seems either brand new or newly remodeled. This home will not disappoint! The owners were very attentive as well.
