Nice place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay with friends. This property is the perfect location to enjoy Custer State Park and all of the other surrounding towns and attractions. The house was immaculate and extremely well stocked. The downstairs living area ensured privacy for both couples. By far the best VRBO I have rented.

As soon as we walked through the door, we were impressed. The home is beautiful, with an open floor plan. Everything is updated. Cheryl has thought of everything!! We loved the homey touches such as tissues, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, etc. The list goes on and on. The furnishings were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the back deck in the mornings and evenings. The property is quite large, so it was pretty quiet. We did hear the rooster next store, but it did not bother us! Location was wonderful for all we wanted to do. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Cheryl for your fantastic communication and for sharing your lovely home!! Dennis and Allison

I recently traveled to Custer with seven friends to participate in the Lean Horse Ultra races. We rented this home from Cheryl through VBRO. It met our needs perfectly! The home was well appointed with furnishings and decor. It was obvious that the home was extremely well cared for. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and modern. There were abundant linens and towels. The home has two sets of washing machines and dryers. We took advantage of those. The open floor plan for the kitchen and dining area was a terrific meeting spot for meals and visiting. We had coffee and breakfast on the deck while sitting in the comfortable deck chairs. Cheryl was responsive, friendly and professional to all of our queries. I would gladly stay at this property in the future.

We loved our stay at this property. Lots of amenities within the home that we enjoyed having with our family. Great location between Custer, Mount Rushmore, Wind cave, Jewel cave. Quiet neighborhood and great communication with the property manager.

This house is in a great location close to Mt Rushmore,crazy horse,wind cave,jewel cave.. short jot over to Deadwood and Spearfish canyon. Quiet neighborhood. Would recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks Cheryl for sharing your home.

This was the second time visiting this area for my wife and I, but the first time for our daughters and 6 yr. old grandson. We had more fun experiencing the attractions in the area through our grandson's reactions than we did the first time we visited. The house was perfect, just as described. The elevator was a needed perk for me (back and hip problems) as well as the walk-in shower. The house was exceptionally clean and very nicely decorated. It had all of the cooking items anyone could need. Conveniently located for all of the area attractions, this was a perfect base for vacationing. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area.

The location was perfect for our trips to Wind Cave, Custer St Park, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, and Devil's Tower/Spearfish. The house had everything we needed and more for the nights we made dinner. Everything was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Didn't think we would need the garage but was glad we had it when it hailed the one night. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to the area.

This was an amazing and comfortable stay for our family. Plenty of space, very clean, peaceful, and well equipped. A convenient distance from Custer. Close to all the attractions of the Southern Black Hills. We would definitely stay here again.

The location of this property is great for all activities in the area - Michelson Trail bike trail; Custer State Park; Mt. Rushmore, etc. The house was very comfortable for our group of 2 couples. Having a garage in which to park was an appreciated bonus!

This is a beautiful home in an exceptionally beautiful place, and the perfect size for a group of 6-8 people. It’s situated in a great location for enjoying the Black Hills area of South Dakota. We enjoyed Custer, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon, the Crazy Horse Memorial, Mt. Rushmore, Hill City, and Wind Cave All are a very reasonable distance from the house. Our host, Cheryl, worked very hard to make sure we had a great time there. We would definitely recommend this property.

This was our first vacation with our kids as young adults. With the kids being 22, 20 and 19, it was nice they had their own space downstairs. The house was in close proximity to most things. We enjoyed our stay and did not have any issues.

Three bedroom ,two baths house. Everything up dated

My husband and I have stayed at many properties from VRBO and we both agreed this was the best! So clean, beautiful and comfortable. Only 5 minutes to Custer for restaurants and 10-12 minutes to the entrance of CSP. We would definitely stay again without hesitation!

This was a great place to stay. We've been coming to the hills for over 20 years and don't normally stay in the Custer area but it was great. The property was very functional for a family--plenty of room and well maintained. It was very clean--very much appreciated the attention to detail. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in Custer. It was very nice and clean. It had the perfect open layout. It was also ideal location for all the sights around. Very pretty area! Also enjoyed seeing deer and bunnies in yard! We will be back.

The house exceeded our expectations. There was lots of space and nice surprises such as the Custer State park pass. and access to the Michelson Trail by foot within a 1/4 mile. It felt like a home away from home. We used the grill for a steak night and all the grill tools were clean as was the grill. It's only 2 miles into Custer. We drove the Wilderness Loop in Custer State Park, and hiked at both Wind Cave National Park and Custer State Park. They were both about 1/2 hour away so we appreciated not doing more driving since we came from out of state. I highly recommend this property. It is set up with 1 BR upstairs and 2 downstairs. Both floors have living rooms and bathrooms so lots of space to spread out. We didn't use the elevator but thought it was great to make the home accessible for those who can't do stairs. Everything about the home said this is a thoughtful host and I highly recommend it.

It was very peaceful close to a walking and bike trail. Close to points of interest too!

Enjoyed the quiet and watching the birds and deer

This location was so accommodating and felt like the perfect distance from all of the attractions. It had everything we needed and more to make our trip the best!

We absolutely LOVED staying here. The house was amazing and our favorite part were the deer and bunnies that came into the yard in the evening and morning every day. It was clean, quiet and very enjoyable! We will be back!

Our family of 7 (3 generations) just spent the last week at Cheryl's VRBO. It was wonderful! Private location, yet close to all the many sites we wanted to visit. Here are some of the noteables: amble linens, paper and plastic products, spices, oils, condiments, great kitchen appliances & kitchenware (we prepared most of our meals there saving money and enjoying family time), many extras were included - soaps, samples of things easily forgotten during packing, like umbrella, etc. The notebook of information and sightseeing pamphlets were very helpful. The decor was lovely. The mattresses were great (& now I want a new one at home!) The recliner made it possible for my husband to sleep comfortably (bad shoulder) - this is usually hard to come by while vacationing! Cheryl was so helpful (& timely) during all of her communications. I could go on-and on with praises about this home, but ... oops, I already have! Should we be in the area again, we will definitely ask to stay here again. THANKS CHERYL! Margie & Family)

This house is AMAZING. Property owner answered right away with any questions we had. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the notebook with things to do and restaurants in the area. Washer and dryer on both levels made it easier for everyone to do laundry. Morning coffee on the front deck watching the rabbits and deer was a good start and ending of the day. Would definitely stay here again!!

It was an extremely nice place. Love the fact it has 2 bathrooms plus 2 sets of washer and dryer’s. The other big bonus was being able to use the garage. And the location is awesome Mount Rushmore and crazy horse right around the corner plus Custer state park is all right there with it.
