My family had such a great time at this charming beach cottage. We loved the stunning view of the ocean and watching the sun rise and set. We also very much appreciated the open, communal living space. The hosts were great to work with and very responsive. Allowing pets is a huge bonus!

Overall it was a great house with a comfortable great room and dining table for 12. Well appointed kitchen, and having the downstairs kitchen to total 3 ovens and 3 refrigerators made prepping Thanksgiving a breeze! The covered porch is deep enough for all to hang out and enjoy the lovely and expansive views of the ocean. It needs to be said that the bedrooms and bathrooms are VERY tight in size, and the bathrooms/showers are not only tiny, but also dated. The downstairs in law suite can ONLY be accessed from the outside. It is not connected to the upstairs inside.

Our group had a wonderful week at this cottage. There are so many good things about it I will probably forget to mention some of them. The kitchen and living room space were the perfect size and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook lots of big meals. Great views through the large windows with spectacular sunrises and sunsets, quite a few dolphins and lots of birds. The outside showers were great as were the abundant chairs, beach toys and boogie boards available. The downstairs mother-in-law suite was nicer and larger than expected and having two washer-dryers was helpful. The two front bedrooms upstairs were pretty small and didn't have closets or much space for a suitcase but the views were good and it was better to have a large living room so we didn't mind too much. We would definitely stay here again.

House was very comfortable for our group. Loved the outdoor showers! The dining table with lazy susan easily accommodated our group of 12 adults, and the fold out extra table gave room to the 2 little ones for comfortable meals. Any issues we had were immediately responded to and taken care of by our hosts. Looking forward to next year here!

We really enjoyed our stay. The layout of the property was great for our large group, the outdoor showers were super handy, and the kitchen was nicely equipped for a few of the amateur chefs/foodies to prep some spectacular meals. The beds and sofas were comfortable. The downstairs suite was perfect as a lair for the four teen girls to hang out in together. All in all, a great stay, located nicely to enjoy an area of the beach and the restaurants and shops it offers that we don’t normally make it over to.

My family and I loved this beachfront home! It was very roomy for all of us. Well maintained and was just as the photos depicted. Great beachfront location with a huge covered front porch. Will definitely rent it again👍

We have stayed on Emerald Isle three times and this house was by far the best. We were able to fit our large family easily and eat all our meals there. Very clean, well stocked house and the beach is gorgeous and not crowded.

Beautiful quiet beach, perfect for long walks and dogs, super relaxing. All that was necessary for us for a perfect vacation.

We had an amazing time for Easter weekend/Spring Break. A full family with 8 adults and 6 kids, the beach house was perfect. Right on the ocean with enough room for all of us, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds, we all agreed we would definitely try to go back. A gem of a house in a great, quiet, beautiful place!

I would definitely rent this place again. Its right on the beach and we had plenty of room for everyone. The house was well laid out and the owners were great to work with! Great Spring Break Week with family!

The view is amazing and I loved our location on the island. The weather was cold but the house was roomy enough for the 8 of us to play games and watch movies. The kitchen is large so three or more people could be in there at the same time. I would stay at this property again.

This was for a Celebration of Life, for my Dad that recently passed away. The house was perfect for us. We loved it and didn’t wanna leave. The kitchen & views were beautiful. Loved the open space. It was a great, comfortable house. Thanks for letting us have our family join together at your house.

We truly enjoyed it. The only thing is the bathrooms that are in the two bedrooms are a little small, but we made it work. The kitchen was well supplied. Even though we didn't have enough parking space to bring the boat it was a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Terrific property right on the beach. Big deck overlooking the water. This house is situated on a part of the island which is quite thin. Resulting in a beach that never gets crowded.

Extremely convenient beach side location. The owners were awesome to communicate with, no issues during our entire stay. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Not complaints but advise to other travelers....there is no ice maker. I recommend buying ice on your way in if you are thinking about that first cocktail with your feet in the sand on the drive in. Also...no hair dryers so plan to bring one from home. The shower stalls are a little tight if you are over 6' tall so I strongly recommend using one of the two outdoor showers. They have hot and cold water and are much more spacious. I was very satisfied with my stay and do recommend this property to others.

Beach Vacation Emerald Isle, NC
The home is listed as 7 bedrooms which it is but the ground floor bedroom is a complete unit by itself with kitchen, bath, et but my adult daughter ended up sleeping upstairs on one of the couches as the downstairs unit had a very bad mold odor. The downstairs bedroom is also detached from upstairs which should be brought to attention when reserving a full week.

Our gargantuan family could not have found a better place to stay. Being beachfront was a priority for us since we had small children, so we thought we were going to sacrifice size, space, rooms, or amenities. We certainly did not. The kitchen was massive and absolutely perfect for all of our cooking needs (3 ovens!). Speaking of, there is a large four-burner gas grill in solid condition downstairs which was a pleasant surprise.
The living space and deck are just as pictured, if not bigger in person. It rained only one day on the trip and we utilized the below deck area for activities for the kids. The suite downstairs was perfect for the grandparents :)
All in all - we had a perfectly relaxing week on the beach, and having such an amazing home to stay in was a huge part of that.

Our daughter was graduating from ECU so we made a weekend trip out of it with our family!
This house was perfect!! Comfortably fit our entire family…aunts, uncles, and grandparents. The floor plan was perfect and beautiful views of the ocean from the living spaces and two of the bedrooms. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck looking out at the ocean, and the dining table was perfect for family meals! I would definitely stay here again!

Location is spot on. Beach for a backyard, how can you go wrong. House fully stocked with linens, kitchen gadgets, and towels. Bed and pillows comfy. Great communication with owners. Only one negative, showers are a little small. But how long do you spend in the shower?! Definitely recommend.

Amazing location and a very comfortable house. Was very well stocked, had everything you can imagine for cooking. Great for family gatherings trip was just me getting away to beautiful beach property. The host couldn’t have been nicer and was very attentive I definitely come back with family and friends

4 night stay in Jan 2022
Property was as advertised. Great location and view of beach was amazing. Kitchen was extremely well stocked. Plenty of room for everyone. Gate at the top of the stairs going to beach was very useful to allow dogs to spend time on the sunny deck with us. Would def stay again.
