The house is beautiful, and so is the yard/flower gardens. The kitchen is fully stocked with all that is needed to cook every meal! The owner told us all you need to bring is food and she was right! Plenty of cookware and dishes. The washer and dryer are new and very convenient. We appreciated the owner installing air conditioners before our arrival. There are also great spaces to gather in the house, 2 living spaces and 2 dining spaces as well as the deck.
Note: the upstairs was a little challenging for tall folks, of which we have a couple in our group. Just something to take note of but it’s a great house. The stairs could be tricky for some but it worked out great for us. The deck is a wonderful spot to have dinner or just relax.
The location was very convenient to the beautiful Empire Beach as well as
the bike trail and downtown Empire. The drive is short to nearby Empire Bluff Trail, Glen Haven and Glen Arbor.
It was a great spot for us and the activities we enjoy!

My family and I had an exceptionally pleasant week staying at Teresa’s home. The house is an easy walk to the shops and beach in Empire, and right on the water on South Bar Lake—perfect for paddleboarding or kayaking.
The house itself had everything we needed and more, from a well stocked kitchen for cooking and a great selection of toys for the kids. Bonus points for having the best, most stable internet I’ve ever experienced in a beach rental.
We look forward to staying here again.

Our family had a great time at this house. A very private location, the property had all the amenities, for indoor and outdoor activities. Well equipped kitchen, Spacious, has access to water, No private Beach, close to public Beach, about 15 min walk. The owner and the manager were very responsive and easy to reach. Perfect Master Bedroom. Mattress of the Upper floor bedrooms need to be replaced with better quality ones.

This home was perfect for our annual getaway Up North. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, games & toys, outdoor chairs and floats for the lake and much more. My grandkids ages 1-13 had a blast. It is right down the street from the bike trail and a quick walk/ride to the ice cream shop and Pickleball court. North Bar Lake at the cottage is a little mushy for swimming but Empire beach park has access to a sandy beach on the other side of North Bar and Lake Michigan too so it was not a problem.
The property owner was very responsive to questions before & during our visit.

We absolutely loved Teresa's place! The house and surrounding gardens were both beautiful! Being on the bike/walking path taking us right into Sleeping Bear Dunes without a car if we preferred was perfect for us and our four teens. We could also walk to the town and to the public beach as well! Sleeping Bear Dunes was simply beautiful everywhere we went and Teresa's place made the trip that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Summer Family Trip!

We could also walk to the town and to the public beach as well! Sleeping Bear Dunes was simply beautiful everywhere we went and Teresa's place made the trip that much more enjoyable.
