My family of 7 adults and one dog were able to comfortably enjoy the the house. It was very well equipped with our essentials dishes, bed ware, and towels. The house had great recreational amenities. Pool table, ping pong, corn hole, hot tub and of course waterfront dock. We were able to rent a local pontoon and dock it right at house. This house is nestled amongst the trees so be prepared for a little wildlife ( has deer in the yard upon arrival) and bugs.(mosquitos and spiders) All of which we were fine with. None in the house. Just outside. The neighborhood also has its own private beach and pool which the owner shares access to. Thank you for the use of your wonderful abode!!

The house was nice and close to the water, and the layout of the house was great. There were a few little things like not having enough glasses for 6 of us at a time and towels that seemed like hand me downs that were a little disappointing, but nothing that an inexpensive trip to Costco couldn't fix. Overall a good stay.

The layout and size of the house was perfect for our family. There are plenty of outdoor areas to hang out and enjoy the scenery. Deer even came to the house during feeding time. The outdoor shower was refreshing. The reason for a 4 instead of a 5 was the cleanliness of the house/property upon arrival. I would recommend bringing extra paper towels, trash bags, coffee for a drip maker(no keurig) and plastic cutlery, (there were only 6 forks.). The beds were comfy with pillow toppers and extra blankets/pillows in the closets. The dock was perfect for docking our boat and the kids enjoyed swimming in the cove. We brought and used our own kayaks, but there are two available for use near the dock. There is also a table and some chairs at the dock as well as a second level with a few chairs. There is a wonderful fire pit area with plenty of seating.

The house was perfect and fit our family's needs. Being able to rent the pontoon at the house was icing on the cake! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed plus more. Communication with the owner was easy and quick.

Large rooms for privacy and still great for shared family time. Great parking too for vehicles.

The house layout was perfect for our family of 6 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs. The outside needs some work, but we had a great time. A nice outdoor kitchen with a large gas grill. Walking distance to the clubhouse and pool, about 7/10 mile. Food Lion and Ace hardware very close by. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We would stay there again.

Wow what an amazing vacation for my whole family!!! It felt like home from the moment we walked into the house!!! This was my first lake experience and it definitely wont be my last!!!! We can't wait to schedule for next year!

Great place, great loaction on the water. Nice quiet cove with minimal boat traffic. Close to grocery store and everything you would need for a stay. Would definitely stay again.

Nice lake property with inside activities, too! The hot tub, pool table and ping pong table were great for a rainy weekend!

Great house. Very spacious and accommodating. Check-in and Check-out process was very easy. Owner is easy to communicate with. We stayed for a few days to relax for our Spring Break. Overall, we had a good experience. The few complaints I do have is the outdoor space was not ready for visitors. The porch and upstairs patio on the dock was very messy and unusable. We had to arrange the furniture on the porch ourselves, move furniture out of the grill area to use it, and wash/set up the fire pit on our own. Just seemed like the house wasn't opened for the season and we fell victim to being the first visitors. Overall, the house was clean aside from the kitchen. It could use a thorough deep clean. The kids and adults made the best out of the experience and really enjoyed the provided kayaks, hot tub, pool table, smores, and movie night. Food Lion is conveniently located.

We had a great time at the lake. The house was very comfortable, plenty of places to sit and a large kitchen to cook meals as a family.

Plenty of space for all of us, and one of the best stocked rental kitchens we've seen!

The house was well appointed. Very attractive decor in all rooms. Sleep number bed was beyond comfortable! Dock is really easy to access. The owner, a very nice gentleman, was wonderful in answering a couple questions we had. Only suggestion we would offer is that the cleaning service do a better job for the owner and look up when cleaning. The interior very clean except for some ceiling corners where there were clusters of spider webs. We used the Dyson vacuum in the closet which removed them quickly. As for the house's exterior, it was covered with thick spider webs that looked liked they've been there a while. We used a broom to sweep off what we could reach, but there were a lot of new and old webs. We realize it's fall and spiders appear in droves then. But, it seemed like the cleaners have been ignoring this lovely home's exterior and deck area. Other than that, we highly recommend this pretty place.

The women in the family booked this property for a surprise guy trip for my Husband, Son and Brother In Law. They loved the location and property, their only complaint was that the hot tub was empty and not available for use as advertised.

Clean, Well kept, Beds are great, Kitchen great, everyone was happy.

We arrived, and the house was cute, and as described. It was serine, on the lake, and plenty of room so no one was on top of each other.. As we settled in, we noticed a few things. Cob webs everywhere, no cushions for seats outside, kayaks with no paddles, hot tub smelled of rotten fish and was green, thought we rented the boat, but realized we did not..good thing, because steering was not working. Which I found out after contacting the owner.. Trash from outside smelled as though it hadn't been taken out in over a month. When we left, it was a disappointment not to be able to enjoy the lake, or the hot tub. I dont believe the house was professionally cleaned,,we found dirty bed sheets in the washer and dryer.. We didn't feel we should have to do someone else laundry. We found 3 maujuanna joints on the deck and patio outside...not kid friendly. We could have stayed home and watched TV for the price we paid. Next time we know better and to ask alot of questions before renting from VRBO. When we left, as requested, we did our part in Cleaning the kitchen, washing our towels and folding them, pulling all the linens from the beds, and took all the trash out.

Overall fun trip. The grill area and the grill itself needed to be cleaned. Other then that we had a great stay. Saw a beautiful blue heron each morning on the dock. Great sunrise through the cove.
