I cannot say enough good things about our week long stay. The little house was the perfect size, great location, very clean, all the things we needed to feel right at home. Close to everything yet quiet enough to see deer everyday. Lynn was an absolutely amazing hostess, if we needed anything she was more than accommodating.

We have stayed many places and have never had such amazing hospitality. I believe there are some people who have been put on this earth by God to represent him fully and this family is definitely 1 of them. We truly came as guest and left feeling as if we are family. We will be returning next year!

This was practically perfect for my needs. Last minute reservation- needed seclusion, time for reflection, and access to family events. Lynn the owner, is exceptional in communication. They met me in the driveway (main house & this guest house share a driveway- but there is a designated parking spot for their guest) and helped carry my baggage back to the guest house. They familiarized me with everything, gave me the keys, let me borrow an umbrella, invited me to dinner and excused themselves so I could settle in. The kitchenette was nicely stocked for my stay- oh the popcorn, cookies, bagels, and waters were very much appreciated. The leather couch and the rocking chair made the living area cozy. I am used to surround sound, so the tv speaker on both tv's helped limit tv time. I did have to hold the handle for the toilet to fully flush- which didn't bother me, so I didn't mention that until now. Loved that the shower stall had a showerhead with a hose so I could rinse my long hair with ease. The towels were very nice and thick. The bed was comfy esp w/ 6 pillows (preferred the bedding that was on the bed- than pictured) I was conerned about the a/c being a window unit upstairs, however, it was in the upper 80's & humid outside, and it was nice inside (actually I turned it up to get warmer). It wasn't clamy at all- like hotels get. A ceiling fan over the bed was just like home. A sympathy card was so heartfelt. Loved the hosts & accommodations.

Lynn is the perfect host, she went above and beyond to ensure an incredible stay. I just wish I could have stayed longer.

Over all this booking was phenomenal! The owners went above and beyond with literally everything. They helped my partner with a surprise for me for our anniversary dessert, have wonderful suggestions for eating, were Knowledgeable of the area and things to do. Fast and effective communication. Wonderfully maintained space. Will be booking again in the near future. Beautiful quiet and tucked away. We absolutely loved it - anniversary for long distance couple get away was an absolute success thanks to Lynn and her husband! <3

The lodge and host was wonderful enjoyed our days with our morning visit from the deer and the walking trail less than a mile away. Our host was very reactive to all our needs. If I ever was in the area again I would stay here, perfect for a couple.

A sweet little cottage nestled in the trees. This place was spotlessly clean, peaceful and I felt very safe. Lynn was an excellent host, who made me feel right at home.

I will stay again. I enjoyed sitting and watching fire flies on the second night of my stay, and the visit from the dogs since I was away from my own pups. Very accommodating and comfy bed I slept very well and it was overall warm and inviting. I would stay again.

This property is perfect for a get away for 1 or 2 people. Quiet with easy access. Furnishing are comfortable and inviting. The owners are attentive and helpful.

We pulled up to the property and one of the host was there waiting for us. Everything was clearly explained to us on how to operate everything. A tour was provided to us, with my son being Autistic they made special accommodation and did not push him on talk or interaction with them. They even got him a gift to help him with the transition to being in a new place and set up a special area for him to sleep. We could not have asked to have been treated any better. We were conveniently located to shopping and restaurants, however I loved that they had a stove and provided items for me to be able to cook for my son and I. I highly recommend this place to anyone and as soon as I know the dates for the convention next year we will definitely be back.

My husband and I came to Kingsport to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and what a gem we found! The Wrights were very hospitable and gracious hosts. The house was well stocked and anything that we needed, Miss Lynn was glad to bring it to us. She greeted us at the driveway and helped us bring in our bags at 11 pm. The house is close to town, but the deer and squirrels are right at home. Even though it rained a good bit during our trip, it was only a short drive to downtown Kingsport, and the Bristol Caverns. The Exchange Place is just up the road from the house. We look forward to coming back!

Husband and wife met us as we pulled in and offered to help carry in as well and their little. Very thoughtful but after a 10 hour drive we needed just a minute to regroup. Very clean and in a safe centrally located neighborhood. The morning deer visits were lovely as well.

We immediately felt comfortable staying here. It was very clean and quiet. Lynn and her husband were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Cabin was great. Couldn't have asked for better to be honest. Clean and stocked for just about any need. From the moment we were met outside to get the key to the last second before we left, our host Lynn was as perfect as we could have ever asked for. We can not praise her enough for how special and easy she made our stay.

Lynn is an amazing host and the property and experience are a direct reflection of her passion and empathy for others. You feel so welcome from the moment you arrive until you depart. The great little cottage is so spacious, warm and cozy. The perfect accomodations throughout and a great place to tuck into a book or enjoy a cup of coffee. Although our schedule dictated that we were out and about most of the weekend, we always looked forward to landing back at the cottage. Don't hesitate a moment to book this place!

I booked a 2 night stay for my husband and son while they attended the Bristol Dirt Race. Lynn had decorated the cottage for Easter and made it so welcoming! She even created a scavenger hunt for my son which ended with a gift. This was also Easter weekend. Lynn put together an Easter basket for my son because she knew he would be away from home and may not get one. She was so kind and so sweet to my guys. The cottage was close to the track, very clean, adorable and comfy. My son said the bed gave him the best sleep he's ever had! Most importantly, the whole experience made us feel like we were dealing with a close friend who truly cared about us. Thank you, Lynn!

Cute little cottage. We enjoyed our short stay. Lynn was over and above with attention to detail. Bagels and muffins were a nice touch, along with little snacks.

Just book it, you wont be sorry! Lynn is a rare jewel of a person who was amazing to communicate with from the first hello. The home had all that we needed and then some. Lynn goes above and beyond for her guests. From plush quality towels to pots, pans and utensils, a coffee machine and snacks - streaming capability and wifi, beatiful grounds with the sounds of birds chirping and the occasional visit of beautiful deer, this place had it all. Lynns husband Doug, son, and parents are all sweethearts, one as kind as the other. A home away from home. It was the perfect place for us and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

The owners of this property are exceptional. So many special touches that make you feel at home. The VRBO is very clean and so many amenities were provided.

This is a rare gem! I was a guest of the Wrights in this comfy cottage for three extended weekends this month. These folks are the kindest human being this side of heaven!!! They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and convenience at EVERY turn! They were thoughtful and considerate, providing little extras here and there, making my time away from my family a bit sweeter:) I highly recommend staying here.

My trip to Kingsport was to watch my daughter compete in swim for her college. I found Lynn’s cottage and immediately booked. She is a fabulous hostess who does extra to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. She had treats and snacks for me upon arrival. She even had a card for my mom who had broken her hip. She is very thoughtful and caring, even for people she’s never met. The cottage was spotless and charming. I hope to visit Kingsport again and be able to visit more than their Aquatic Center. When I do, I’ll be staying at The Wright Place again.

This was our first time renting this cottage. Don’t let the square footage detour you because the space it just right for a couple. We stayed over the New Year holiday and it was still decorated for Christmas which was absolutely perfect. Lyn was so easy to deal with. She’s by far one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. She makes you feel at home and like one of the family. The area is really nice, you’re not too far away from stores. The highlight for us was on our last night; we had 6 deer right outside the cottage. I highly recommend staying here!

In all of our stays, in all of the different locations, in all of the different accommodations, we have NEVER stayed anywhere as wonderful as this! From the personal welcome by Lynn, to the spotless cleanliness of the rental, and all of the thoughtful touches along the way, there was not a single detail that the hosts did not put considerable thought into. This place felt just like home, and in fact had the most comfortable bed we’ve ever come across in our travels. Lynn made certain that we didn’t want for a single thing. The rental was adorably decorated, the kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was well appointed with big fluffy towels, and the furnishings were both stylish AND comfortable. Lynn even left a sweet little welcome note and some treats for us to enjoy during our stay. If you are in this area, THIS is the place to stay. We look forward to returning and catching up with Lynn and her sweet family!

My husband and I just spent thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful little cottage. It’s such a warm and cozy place. Lynn goes up and beyond for her guests. As soon as we arrived, she was there to greet us and even helped us carry our bags inside. The fridge was stocked with water and she left us homemade muffins and cookies, along with a basket of snacks. As we went upstairs for bed on our first night, there was a gift basket and a wonderful card from the owners. I’ve never stayed at a rental that had so many personal touches. She made us feel like family instead of a stranger. I highly recommend her rental. It’s clean, cozy, great location, and has everything you’ll need to feel right at home! We will definitely be staying again soon!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Lynn's place a few weekends ago for a wedding we were going to. Lynn and her husband were so sweet and waited up for us to get there. We were unfortunately delayed in our travels and did not end up getting to the property until after 1am. When we pulled in Lynn and her husband were up and ready to help us take our things into the cottage. She had snacks and little breakfast items in the cottage for our weekend stay, and the whole place was adorably decorated for the fall season! My boyfriend and I are trying to find an excuse to take a trip back to TN just to stay here again! Thank you so much Lynn!

Property owners are so very friendly!!! Such a nice area. The house is always so clean. Everything there that you need!! I always feel at home. I've stayed there a couple times and hope to stay there more!! I'm a travel nurse, and this is exactly what you need when you're away from home!!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we got there Lynn and her husband made us feel like family! She was so sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of! She provided brownies, muffins, bagels, cookies, bottled waters, and a basket of other snacks! She also got us a balloon and 2 cards for our anniversary! She even offered to make us dinner one night and she brought over cinnamon rolls our last morning there. The house was perfect for what we needed. The ONLY thing I was missing was a full length mirror. We hope absolutely stay here again!!
