I love this place. Wish I could move there!
Perfect for one or two people who love the outdoors and an amazing view from your bedroom, with privacy and hiking right out your door. The cat was a gem and great bonus for a lonely soul. The rocks in the outdoor shower felt great on my feet. I had lots of privacy, quiet neighborhood. Thank you so much for sharing your space!

This property was great! I loved the cabin and the view. Wish it would have been in the original post that the shower is down about 16 stairs.
We were also greeted by a beautiful orange kitty named Bo when we woke up one morning! They were so sweet but tried to come in the cabin. No worries for us, we love animals!

They hosts were exceptional and the area was great. We enjoyed the neighborhood, views, kitchen, and friendly cat that came to visit in the morning.

If you have an adventurous spirit and love the outdoors, this place is for you! It has an incredible view from inside the cabin or on the deck in front of the cabin. If it is cold, or want privacy, you convert the thick canvas ceiling above the outside deck into a wall, covering the screen. This does, however, block the view. It was cold and windy at night when I stayed there, and yet I was toasty warm inside.
There is a food store, Good Earth, literally right down the street, where you can get food. They have a great selection of to go items both hot and cold. You can eat there too.
I loved it here and definitely would like to come back sometime.
My only complaint is the toilet was difficult to use. But it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

As described and was exactly what I expected for my trip. The weather was challenging but even on a damp rainy night the bedroom was really cozy with the screen down. Gina was a great host.

This was a fantastic spot to stay! Very much like glamping, and the view towards san francisco was stunning. The only downside was the bathroom situation, it shouldnt really be that close to the bedroom door entrance because its very smelly and the rv toilet was difficult to use, kind of think that needs a bit of an upgrade. But the owner was great, we loved our stay.

Loved my stay at Gina’s. The cabin is comfortable small and simple with spectacular views from the deck. Kitchen was well stocked with all one needs to cook, and the toilet (not in photos) is a simple portable porta potty, and the shower just down the hill near the house. Loved my time there!

Basic but great place to stay
Great place with spectacular views. Would stay again. Just a few suggestions:
A few hooks on the left when you walk in.
A small luggage rack so you are not living out of your bag on the floor.
Warm water at the sink.

I was seeking quiet time in nature which is why I chose this place. Based on the photos it looked like it was in a remote area with a total nature view, far away from "city" life. However, upon arrival I learned that it was in a much more suburban and densely populated area than I envisioned. Overall I enjoyed my stay here, but I feel that certain aspects of the property were not accurately represented in the listing and with the photos. The best part for me was feeling as if I were waking up in the trees with the birds, and exploring the walking trails behind the property.
PROS:
- Birds singing in the morning, and Owls hooting at night.
- Taking a walk in nature right out the door.
- Waking up with a gorgeous view of the sunrise.
- Nicely equipped kitchen to make meals in.
- Cooking and eating in the outdoors.
- Hosts respond quickly.
- Waking up with a light breeze on my face made me feel like I was waking up in a tent somewhere far away.
CONS:
- Port-o-potty-esque toilet outdoors... and mosquito bites.
- Bright 24hr light shining in the room at night. (I had to cover it with a towel, and made a recommendation that something is done to fix this.)
- Outdoor shower is attached to the main house down the stairs from the cabin. While no one could see me showering, I still felt quite exposed and vulnerable.
- Listing explanation of the site didn't match the reality of it.
- The folding doors to the bedroom only have a screen on them, so at night it can get pretty chilly.
- Small bedroom with not much room to maneuver with the doors closed.
- Undisclosed in listing extra charge for firewood to use the firepit.
Stay here if you are:
- Fit and healthy to climb stairs and maneuver around uneven and awkward steps.
- Adventurous and like a "glamping" experience.
- Don't need a lot of amenities / creature comforts.
- Can bundle up at night and in the early morning.
Don't stay here if:
- You have any injuries or physical hindrances.
- You want a warm cozy cabin.*
- You need quick and easy access to your car.
- You like or want to sleep in.*
*There is a tarp that can be lowered for extra warmth and coverage from the morning light. I didn't use it because I didn't want to deal with it.
As a "Superhost" on another platform, I am perhaps more aware of wanting my listing to be as thorough and accurate as possible. Some people may not mind so much. I hope this review gives a more detailed and accurate description of what to expect when staying here.

If you like a deck with a view, incredible hikes out the back door, and don't mind a cozy room -- this place is great. We used the fire pit, cooked in the outside kitchen, pulled the tarp down at night and used a heater. It was super beautiful and really felt like getting away. Close to Pt Reyes and Fairfax is a cool town.
