It wasn't quite what I expected from the photos, from walking in from outside into the bathroom, and not having any place inside to eat. Little to no room for any kind of meal prep and as I never did find the hot plate, it was just as well that we ate all our meals out. The only place to sit, besides the bed, was a very uncomfortable convertible couch/chair. It appeared clean, but it does need some cosmetic work in the bathroom. I never did find the hot plate, so it was just as well that we ate all our meals out. As my title indicates, we just used the place to sleep, so we got what we paid for. We saw the owner once on our arrival, met with a wave. It met our needs, was relatively inexpensive, but not on my go-back-to list.

I stayed at this particular location due to it’s proximity to Jacksonville Beach and other attractions.
The property was well maintained, and the interior was very clean.
Everything you could need is provided.
The shower is spacious, there is also a nice soaking tub. But I didn’t use it.
Inside of the bedroom there is information about things in and around Jacksonville / Jacksonville Beach area.
Which I thought was a nice touch.
I used the pool and sitting area near it which was very peaceful.
While sitting at the pool. The property owners cat made friends with me. Which caught me off guard due to some cats nature, but was great!
The property owner Adam is a hospitable person.
He’s knowledgeable about the surrounding area and was beyond kind and welcoming.

From the minute I pulled up I knew I was going to love this place because their Christmas declarations weee so fun and really showed the Christmas spirit! My son and I stayed here for three nights on a homeschool field trip and we loved playing all the board games, watching movies, swimming, playing basketball, and just enjoying the relaxing spot Adam has created! It has inspired me to make my backyard cooler next summer ! Def book this place!! You won’t regret it!!!

The location is not far from Jax beach. The place is clean and comfortable with a spacious bedroom and bathroom area, but the kitchen area is very small. We would stay there again.

Was a great place. Private, Clean and close to Mayo Clinic. Perfect for our 2 night stay. Especially the fenced in yard for our 2 dogs, they loved it. The temperatures were to cold to use the pool but it sure was inviting. We will stay again.

We stayed here for one night on way down to Orlando. The property was nice and served us well for our one night. Adam was very responsive to any questions I had and even let us know we could stay later if we would like in our checkout day.

Adam's place was great! It had everything you could need and then some. It is really close to the beaches and town. But he also offers a backyard Oasis with swimming pool and slide if you just feel like hanging out! I even took a day trip to Amelia Island it's that close. I never heard anybody it was quiet and peaceful. It is private and tucked away on a nice street. Adam's communication is top notch. You won't be disappointed!

Everything was fantastic as the accommodations were exactly what my partner & I needed to rest & relax. The neighborhood was quiet & nice to walk my dog as there were friendly neighbors. The owner was very helpful & willing to answer any questions. Also, he was flexible to work with our schedule on checking in/out. I would definitely stay at this house again when I revisit in the future. 😊

It was a cute and cozy room. Adam had everything you may have needed or had forgotten. Total privacy at the pool and very quite. Less than a 5 minute drive to the beach. Great location, friendly host. Will stay again!!!

The location in proximity to the beach was perfect! Just enough away that you’re not paying those ridiculous beach front prices and dealing with the crowds, but close enough to go back and forth multiple times if you’d like.. and we did! Check in was as easy as it sounds, just punch in a code. The room was perfect for my husband and I. The bed was comfortable and the room was super comfy temperature wise too (especially for a hot first week in august)! We managed with the limited amount of kitchen amenities.. I don’t feel like we ever needed anything more than what was provided. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed the privacy of the backyard pool and the pergola provided a sweet spot to relax in the shade! We needed the washer/dryer once and Adam was prompt in responding to requests and making that available for us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.. Clean room, privacy, cute little town and for sure the least crowded beach I’ve ever been to! We can’t wait to stay again!

Adult. They have a great coffee selection and though I didn’t use the pool it looked great.
If I return with my husband or by myself would definitely rent again.

We spent 7-nights here for surf camp and it was just perfect. Adam was a wonderful host and super attentive. Being so close to the ocean and then having a pool to dip in was great.

Exactly what I needed and super cute!!!!! Easy access, beautiful pool, comfy bed! Host was super nice and responsive. Highly, HIGHLY recommend for a single or couples trip! Space for more but the quaint atmosphere and privacy make you want to do some “alone time”. Close to beach and shops, couldn’t be better, especially at this price. THANKS ADAM!

We enjoyed our stay here. From the pool, to a very comfortable bed, we would definitely come back. We like to find these hidden gems on VRBO and save our money from overpriced hotels. The place was clean and had many items to use that you most likely didn’t pack. Convenient, safe environment, and best of all, an enclosed yard for our dog to use. Thank you Adam.

We loved our weekend stay at Adam’s place. It was exactly as described with everything one might need including pool and beach supplies, toiletries, games, smart television and the pool…oh the pool! The gazebo area is beautiful and shades you from the hot sun. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance, although we had a car and had no problem with parking. Adam does his best to give you his privacy, although we did have a chance to talk to him and he’s a great guy. We recommend highly and will definitely be back!

Nice place to stay for a couple or family with 1 or 2 young kids. Owner provides just about everything you could think of to need for your stay. Home is located close to many great restaurants and beach is close by. Having access to the backyard inground pool was a plus.

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by how cute the place was. The access to the pool and areas to relax in private were so amazing. The room was so well stocked we didn’t want for anything. The host was amazing and helpful with any requests we had also. The stay was in short amazing.

Adam's place exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful. Adam goes out of his way to provide everything you could need and then some. We arrived late on a rainy night and he was thoughtful enough to leave lights on and the door unlocked so we wouldn't have to figure out the lock in the rain (which wasn't difficult). We travel a fair amount and I've never had a host provide so many extras as Adam & his girls. And the backyard & pool was so amazing! Now the space is small so it might not fit families with older children but for us it was perfect. I just wish it was available when I have to return in July! Might have to go back for a jaguars game? Thank you for going that extra mile Adam. It was very much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay at Adam’s place. We are from the Jax Beach area originally, coming back to visit family & friends - this place was in a great location. The space gave us everything we needed and having the separate entrance allowed us to come and go without feeling like we were intrusive of Adam and his family’s daily happenings.
They were great about allowing us privacy when we were at the property, and having access to the backyard was great for our dog. We could tell she was relaxed and comfortable there also.
Adam strives to accommodate and provide a wonderful experience, and even allowed us to check in early when our schedules had slightly adjusted.
We definitely look forward to having this place to stay at in the future when we return back to Florida!

Was visiting Jacksonville for the weekend for my nephew’s wedding . We had looked at several hotels and rentals in the area as we were working with a budget and needed to find a great value but also clean and welcoming . We were so lucky to find Adam’s rental . It was so super cozy and had a private pool !! . The place smelled super clean and was arranged in an extremely charming way ! Adam was a wonderful host and was extremely helpful in answering questions for us . You will not find a more charming , value added rental anywhere ….and it was just minutes from the beach . This has to be one of if not the best vrbo we've ever stayed in. I was a little skeptical at first because Ive never rented a room attached to someones house, but this vrbo was absolutely perfect. Adam is an amazing host and he gives you your privacy. Hes also very welcoming and communicative. We will definitely stay again sometime when we're back in Jacksonville. Thanks Adam for a wonderful stay! 😊
