Nice little getaway near Watkins glen. Property is exactly as advertised, was clean and had snacks out! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We came here for my Bachelorette weekend! The home was a great location, not near the hussle and bussle but just a short 7 mile drive to walkins glen or 10 min drive to town. This house was very well supplied with everything we needed! We all had a great time!!

We came up to the Fingerlakes to tour our wedding venue, and this property was 2 minutes away. It had everything we needed and was close to all the attractions we visited. Great place to stay!

House was clean, comfortable, new landscaping and deck - all was just as advertised. It was clear the owner went out of the way to make it comfortable, clearly responsive to prior reviews. There was everything our party of 5 needed, including coffee, tea, water, and gift(thank you!) Convenient location to many wineries.

Nice place quiet and easy. I didn’t read the fine print to see no TV or Wi-Fi but we had a nice stay nevertheless.

In NY for the Deck the Halls Wine Tour. House was perfect for our family get together, rooms were large - much bigger than we expected. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy without getting underfoot of each other. Deck is wonderful - didn’t have opportunity to use with colder weather but would be ideal in warmer weather with the fire pit.

The house was very clean! The outlets in the bedrooms dont work but that was no problem! The water did stop working but only for about 30 minutes but the VRBO person responded quickly! Cant wait to come back & stay here again. Tv & internet would be a plus but it wont stop us from staying again!! Beautiful home thank you!!

What a wonderful home! It is beautiful inside and out! We wished we had more time to take advantage of the large deck and yard, firepit, BBQ grill and big comfy living room. We were in the area for our son and daughter in laws wedding and were less than 2 miles from the venue. Very convenient and actually became the place for the guys to get dressed as we were closer than anyone else. Originally we were to be a party of 7, but for various reasons, we were just 2. There was plenty of space to spread out, even if all 7 had been there. This was our 1st non motel stay. We had heard from others what we should bring, so we had a car full of stuff...that was not needed! Just bring yourselves! I've lived with sulfur water in the past, but if you haven't, there was plenty of bottled water! If you are reading this post and are planning to stay, if you find a little sparkle, that was from my dress! I didn't realize how much I was shedding sparkles until hours into the reception. And when we got 'home' we discovered a sparkly mess in the rooms I was in. A dry mop and lint roller rolling up the piles on the floor was a funny way to end the day! Great location for wine tasting. Cozy and roomy house.

This was a great property, lovely location especially in relation to the wineries that we went to. We were very disappointed with the lack of wifi since I was away as a graduate student that although I was on vacation, I still have homework and assignments to complete. We also had a disruption with the water which wasn't the best experience.

This home was perfect for our family. The property had everything we needed to prepare our meals and had plenty of room for five of us to sleep comfortably. It provided the privacy you cannot get from a hotel. It was also within a short distance of all our favorite wineries. So happy we found this home. We will definitely be renting again on our next trip to the area.

We enjoyed our stay. Used the firepit and gas grill several times and the deck was a nice spot to enjoy our wine. Also appreciated the generous host with the unexpected gifts that were provided.

First off - this house is the perfect location. Close to town and right in line with all of the wineries! Check in was easy and the house was spotless and did not smell like sulfur (a previous review said it). We were pleasantly surprised to find AC even though the listing said their wasn’t any. The house was stocked and even had extras like tin foil, baggies etc. the grill was great for burgers on night two after a day at the wineries. My only suggestions: If you plan on allowing a big group like us (7) the house could use more Mirrors. There are only two mirrors (bathrooms) and the one plug doesn’t fit a hair dryer/fat plug so we had to use the bedroom plugs and our phones as mirrors. Some of us brought our own towels but I believe there was plenty. There were extra blankets and sheets in case someone needed the pull out couch and room for air mattresses in the bedrooms as well. We loved the big dining room table and kitchen set up for buffet style dinners. I would not hesitate to rent here again with a girls trip or even my young family!!

Beautiful place. Plenty of space for 6-8 ppl. Only 4 in my group. House sits right along the wine trail. Had issues with many of the wall outlets not working, owner made aware. Made it difficult for everyone to charge cellphones, use fans, laptops, lights etc. There was only one a/c unit in the living room, which was not enough during our stay, it was so hot and humid. The owner came over and Installed a window unit in the 2 bedrooms we were using!! Was wonderful, made it so much more comfortable to sleep!! Beautiful back deck, firepit in the yard too. Definitely would stay again as long as there is a/c!!

Overall, this was a very clean, well located property to stay at. You can tell that the owner is making improvements to the property and that it has great potential. We ran into only minor issues with the property that, it improved could make this a truly fantastic location to stay. First, yes, the water has a smell. We were able to control it with some filters and air fresheners that we brought, but it is noticeable particularly when four girls all need to shower. Second, and more importantly, two of the three beds were very uncomfortable. We had one girl prefer to sleep on the couch and another buy a mattress topper to improve comfort. The last bed was perfectly comfortable. Overall, the house was a great value and could be truly exceptional with some minor improvements.

Space was nice - we didn’t feel we were on top of each other all weekend. Had plenty of room to spread out. Great location we did wineries on the other side of the lake furthest one was about 30 minutes and we passed multiple on our way back. Beautiful porch / view Cons - can definitely smell the sulfur from the well water. Hits you in the face when you walk in. But you get used to it. Electrical outlets didn’t work on one side of each bedroom - so people had issues charging their phones / plugging in fans at night. Air conditioner is only in the living room - made for a hot night for the bedroom sleepers night one. Night two there was a cooler breeze outside so most opened the windows

Stayed here with a group of 7 for a bachelorette. House was clean and included everything needed for a great weekend. It was the perfect location for checking out the wineries, going to the falls and downtown. Would recommend to all.

Property was exactly as described. Worked out excellent for doing some wine tasting in the area. Location was perfect. House was nice and clean.

This property is in a great spot and overall was very clean and tidy. However, a massive downfall for this place is the sulfur smell in the water. It is so potent that we were unable to shower, brush our teeth or drink the water. It left a horrible smell in the place and we would leave for hours and come back and it still had an odor. Also, many outlets in the home do not work and there is poor cell service and no wifi.

The house is very pleasant and comfortable, and the hostess was very thoughtful. Nice and quiet for sleeping, private spacious lawn and deck. Great location! We were disappointed there’s no access to the lake, the mentioned road leads to private property with signs to keep off. We had hoped to view the fireworks on the lake.

If you are someone who does not need to take showers or wash your hands, this is the house for you. The sulfur in the water is very strong and was unbearable. Everything else about the house was eggcellent. The price was fair, just wish the water situation was fixed before we got there or had the information disclosed prior to arrival. Had we known, dry shampoo would’ve been packed.
