We were extremely happy with our stay. The location was perfect for us and our two furry babies. We felt safe walking the streets at night for the late night/too early, sun still not up potty breaks. There is a park across the street and a trail around the corner. Everything we needed could be found within a one mile radius. That allowed us to take a walk or hop in the car if we were feeling lazy. The place was clean and had all we needed. The front porch was a great place to relax. We didn’t use the loft, but it looks like a cute place for kids. There is a lot of space in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom was clean and has ample counter and cabinet space. There is also a laundry area with a washer and dryer (we didn’t use). The hosts were responsive and helpful.

The Zen Den was exactly the place we were looking for and perfect our needs. A short walking distance to restaurants and a little downtown area along with a cute farmers market. The beds were comfortable and the linens soft. Plenty of space for three people though possibly a bit tight for four. The little porch out front had a relaxing swing with beautiful views. We would definitely rent again if we get to return to Cedar City!

This is the cleanest home, inside and out, that we have stayed at in Cedar City over the last 3 years we have been vacationing there. What you see in the photos is exactly what you will get when you arrive. The hosts are phenomenal! Easy to communicate with, took care of our needs without excuses or concern, and were simply a pleasure to work with. Although the Zen Den is smaller than what we usually stay at. It was more than satisfactory for 4 adults and one large dog. Both beds are very comfortable and I would rank them as somewhat firm. A very quite neighborhood with walking trails and a park near by. Although parking can be a little tight. There is plenty of street parking without a lot of traffic. A great little place that we plan on staying at again in the future.

Such a comfortable stay! I am such a germophobe when it comes to places I stay but the Zen Den was SO clean that I felt comfortable right away. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the bed was comfortable, two access doors to the back yard, the nicest shower!!! Everything was fantastic. The owner even left a snow shovel, which I wasn’t expecting to need, but thank goodness they did because it was a life saver that first morning!

The location is so quiet but accessible to everything and close to nature. So clean and cozy. The management communicates well and very helpful. Family friendly place.

Spent a long weekend and the place was nice, but very very basic. Kitchen was minimally stocked, had a hard time cooking due to lack of bowls, baking sheets, measuring cups, etc. Owner was very communicative. Overall a nice place for a quick getaway but wouldn’t stay again for a longer than a couple days.

Great location with a park/trail across the street to bring our dogs. Gerardo was very pleasant and made sure we were enjoying our stay.

Tthe property is very clean and well maintained. It is a good location on a quiet street. The owners are very concerned that you have everything that you need. Great location to get to many National and State Parks. This is a excellent choice.

Of the three VRBO properties we rented this summer this one most accurately matched the online description. We would stay there again.

This was the best week ever. My oldest daughter was at camp at SUU for the week and my baby and I stayed here for the week. I worked remote. The internet never failed me and the house has an open floor plan so it was easy for me to put up a gate for my 9 month old. The home is clean. You can not tell that they allow pets in this home. No bad smell. (I wish there was bathtub to soak in, but not necessary.) Easy walk to SUU, there is a park across the street and walking trails. This for me is a dream home. Very simple with great details. If you ever sell this house, please contact me. (not kidding) I hate leaving a good review because I do not want anyone else to stay here!!! Awesome owners. Easy to contact, and from reading their other reviews you can tell they care about their guests. They have added everything that the previous guests have asked for. Only suggestion, extra trash bags and laundry soap. Love this house! Thank you again. OH!! There was also a hummingbird nest on the swing. All week we witnessed the momma feed her babies. One of them flew away the last night I was there. Absolutely loved it.

A great location to access the many great national parks in the area. The owners responded quickly to any questions. The bed mattress is foam and comfortable. The home was clean and there were plenty of supplies, like paper towels and toilet tissue.

It is a super cute place within walking distance of the Shakespeare Festival the lovely walking trail/park. Very comfortable. We brought our dog and found the location perfect for her as well. We would certainly stay there again!

The location was great for accessing hiking trails and was perfect for our dog. Advertised as “sleeps 4” but there was no where for 4 to eat or play a game/cards?? There were only 2 of us, but we wanted to invite our friends over for dinner…not even a chair with a back to eat or a coffee table. A small dining table & chairs would be a nice asset. Kitchen was minimally stocked….a tea kettle, cookie sheet, wine glasses & large coffee pot would have been really nice. We were disappointed in the TV Service…very limited. We would not rent this house again and would suggest a more accurate representation of the property.

We wanted a winter getaway and that is what we got. The cabin was beautiful and we got to enjoy the snow. The water pipes froze in the kitchen but to be expected with 15 degree weather.
