The house was perfect for our family of 5. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was also great since we had activities to do in Cañon City, Frisco and Silverthorne. We weren’t too far from any of the cities.

We visited 1st week of August for my sons wedding. The weather was AMAZING! The location was close to many activities such as Breckinridge, For great restaurants and shopping- sight seeing, Bruna Vista for river rafting, Pikes Peek for an amazing experience in the clouds! All within an hour and a half drive including Denver.
The town of FairPlay also has some great restaurants shops, and the kids favorite the ice cream shop.
Necessity’s are readily available at the close by market, Family Dollar, and Dollar General.
We also visited the near by Rec Center pool which the kids loved. ( they even let us adults in free to supervise the kids).
The bikes they have were also a kid favorite and kept them busy in between activities.
The home was very clean and the beds were so comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed in this perfect little home. We came for hiking, biking and to be close to downtown Fairplay.This home has everything you need and the host is always available. More than comfortable, its a little bit of luxury in the mountains.

Four of us enjoyed a 3 night stay at this lovely home just blocks away from the downtown restaurants, museum and shopping. The house was welcoming, clean, and nicely decorated to the point I took pictures to inspire my own decorating! We felt right at home. Sheree was great and responded immediately to any question we had. It was a wonderful experience and she made us feel so welcome!

Great location for us! My son ran a race in Fairplay so it worked great. We were able to walk to town and the outdoor sitting area was cute! It was clean and actually better than the pictures looked on line!

This is an absolute GEM of a home. It's just off the main street, a short distance to most of Fairplay's restaurants, and is simply and tastefully decorated. The entire house is impeccably clean and up-to-date. The neighborhood is very quiet, and this cozy house makes for a wonderful vacation spot. We loved it. We will be back to stay here again. The location is just perfect - far enough from the chaos of Breckenridge to get away, but close enough to drive up and ski before coming home to a much more-relaxing environment.

The host Sheree canceled my reservation. I flew out from MN and had a friend drive me to the VRBO to find I had NO access to the house! I called the host she sent a referral number, I called VRBO and they said O could file with the travel insurance, I bought luckily! Worst experience of my life!!!

Beautiful home that is much roomier than it might appear. Lovely large living space / kitchen / dining with a super cozy and warm fireplace. Plenary of space for our whole family and baby as well.

Renting was great! Sheree was awesome! She was prompt answering any and all questions. The property was well stocked and super clean. Felt very safe in the area. Its a quaint, small, quiet town with everything you may need between your adventure stops. Check out the hidden gem Salado restaurant just around the corner!! Amazing cuisine. Very conveniently located only 30 minutes from Breckenridge!! Would highly recommend this property! Great experience!!

The house is in a great location. Easy walk to Front Street. Very comfortable, and welcoming home in a quiet neighborhood. The views to the west, north, and south are fabulous.

Best BNB that we have stayed at in many, many years. It is hard to find an BNB host that really pays attention to details in a home. Beautiful views from spacious windows, comfortable beds, cuddly bedding, soft towels and modern decor. You should see the amazing light pendants in the kitchen! A little house with such sophisticated charm. Our host was always available for any questions and very attentive to any of our needs. This lovely home was within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. Salado was one of our favorite restaurants. Since we were there in summertime, we look for hiking trails, of which there is an abundance. I was so comfortable here, that I didn't want to leave. It is so pretty here in summertime that I can only imagine the views in the winter! I hope we will be welcome again.

The Best Cabin in Fairplay
The pictures for this property hardly do it justice! Everything in this cabin (decor, appliance quality) was above and beyond what we expected. Old is not a bad thing, but everything seemed brand new and tastefully chosen. Furniture and beds were super comfortable as well as the rest of the house. It was so close to shopping, restaurants and a beautiful river for hiking and enjoying the breathtaking views. The “transaction” was seamless and the hostess could not have been more accessible and informative. Super Big Bang for the buck. Thanks Sheree! (We are so buying that blanket),

This was a great house with all the amenities of home. As you can see it was a 5 Star experience at “The Rock”. It is one of the nicest rental properties we’ve stayed at. The home has a great layout and beautifully decorated. It appears to have been recently remodeled and all was done in great taste. Very clean. Fresh towels and bed linens were very nice. Kitchen was fully equipped for our needs, too. Lots of games and videos for entertainment. There were even 6 bikes to choose from to ride down to FairPlay and enjoy this wonderful small town. Our family stayed at the house for a few days and we loved it. The welcome booklet answered all questions and provided all the information we needed. The house was very open and relaxing and we were comfortable immediately. All coordination was timely and courteous. The entire process was stress free and we had zero complaints about the house.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a late winter weekend and enjoyed our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and it is light, airy and clean. The property is about 30 minutes from Breckenridge, but with little traffic, it was an easy drive. We went to one surprisingly nice restaurant in Fairplay (Salado). We didn't have a chance to check out the brewery or winery in town, but cool they have them! There is a grocery near by. The only complaint we had was the temperature was 52 in the house when we arrived, and it didn't warm up until the next evening. But since the beds were warm, it was fine. Overall, a great stay!

Very nice and clean home
My friends and I stayed here for our ski trip to Breckenridge. It was a beautiful home and perfect space and size for our small group. Check in and check out was easy and the house had everything we needed.

The house was spacious and immaculate and was very cozy. The gas fireplace was a nice touch after snowboarding all day in Breckenridge. Everything was updated to the 9's and the master bedroom was beyond comfortable. Access to the house was a breeze and communication with the owner was great. Don't waste thousands by staying right at the slopes. Save a few bucks and stay in Fairplay. A small town that has a couple restaurants, shops, and a great distillery that's a step back in time.
