The house has lots of space for a family. It is very private, with a long gravel driveway/road leading past a horse farm to get to it.

Meredith's property was perfect for our family vacation to Colorado. It was a great central location to take our day trips from to Grand Junction, Ouray, and Telluride. It was also a great location for spending time at the Black Canyon National Park as it was only about 20 minutes from the South Rim Visitor Center. The house feels like you're on a ranch in the country with a few neighbors, but in reality you're about a mile from town, so its really convenient. She had stocked lots of extra kitchen essentials and bathroom essentials to help make your stay more like being at home. Everything was very clean and Meredith was very responsive to our questions we had during our stay. If we ever get back to this area, we will definitely stay here again!

We were a group of 5 adults visiting Mesa Verda National Park. We enjoyed this home, amazing Mountain View’s, comfortable beds, had everything we needed to feel at home. Would recommend this place and would stay here again.

This property was the perfect setup for a multigenerational group. There is a large open living space with plenty of room to eat and relax. The bedrooms are located on either side of the living space allowing some privacy and quiet time. The views from the house are wonderful. There are outdoor seating areas both in the front and the back that were great for outdoor eating. The location was close to stores and a short ride to the park. It is a great set up.

This place was incredibly clean and has really nice updates. Really easy drive to Black Canyon and very close to lots of restaurants. Absolutely loved staying here.

Our family came to Montrose to visit relatives and were looking for a cozy place to stay during the trip. We could not have found a better place! In fact, the teens even said this was their favorite place out of all the VRBOs we have been to! The living room is spacious and comfortable with vaulted ceiling. There is a large table to eat or play board games (which are also supplied by the host). Each of the beds had comfortably memory foam mattress. The views from the panoramic windows were awesome. Communication with the host was clear and very responsive. The place is a little off the beaten path but we had clear instructions and that should not be a deterrent for anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable modern cabin getaway. Thanks you so much for making our visit so great for our family!

We had a wonderful time staying at this VRBO! My whole family lives in Montrose and this was a great location to relax and host everyone for Thanksgiving. I would highly recommend this home and host to anyone looking for a great home with beautiful views!

We are so glad we stumbled upon this jewel of a place! Very clean home with modern amenities; the host has thought of everything! Close to lots of dining and outdoor activities which we enjoyed during our stay. We will stay again!

We really enjoyed staying here. This property served our need for a base camp for Black Canyon and Ouray. Nice home with plenty of space. Comfortable beds and couch. All we needed and more. Clean and safe.

Country living in city
Great house, excellent location in middle of town with country feel. Good views and plenty of room. Perfect location for exploring western Colorado. Nice kitchen with all amenities and good beds and bathrooms. I would recommend this property to friends and would stay here again.

House was spacious, clean and felt brand new. Great mornings and evenings out on the deck. 1/2 hour to get to visitor center of Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Family visit to Montrose
This house is beautiful. The home was very spacious and clearly had several updates. The kitchen was well stocked with a lot of extra spices and oils that are a rare find in some VRBO properties. Meredith was a great communicator and flexible.
The location is close enough to stores and restaurants, but still quite secluded. I would advise you arrive during daylight. We had a little trouble getting to the street the house was on and it would have been quite scary in the dark.
Overall, if we return we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful views!
There were some hiccups in the beginning, but we all got it resolved quickly! The place has BEAUTIFUL views, lots of room for my two toddlers to run around and play.
I did see some horses down the road, but not sure if we were allowed to visit/pet them.
The beds were decent, we like a bit softer beds but they did the job. The master bathroom shower is amazing.
Overall, we all loved the place, and would stay again if we are ever in the area again and it’s available!

I went to Montrose to meet movers to put our belongings in storage and spent a weekend at Meredith's place. Wonderful and responsive host, and extremely well appointed property. The house has absolutely everything you need down to the little touches that nobody ever thinks of like new toothbrushes in case you forgot yours, and hair ties and makeup pads (not that I needed them). I honestly will say this is the best appointed VRBO I have ever stayed in - and that is saying a lot! Love the location too. Perfect for my needs

Could not ask for a better place in Montrose
