Had planned to ski, but unfortunately there wasn’t any snow.
Will plan to return and stay here because of the great location and accommodations being so nice

The condo was clean and very well appointed. There was easy access to the parking. Just be aware that this is a 3rd floor walk up if that will be a problem and it was difficult to reach the cords for the window treatment as all of us were under 5’7”. A step stool would be nice. Close to all sightseeing you may want to do.

It was our second time staying in this school building. It continues to be a nice, clean affordable stay with many amenities. Its location is great in between both cities and next to a grocery store. Some of the furniture in this unit needs some TLC or to be replaced entirely (broken loveseat, one kitchen chair). We’d stay here again.

Apartment is adorable and nicely decorated for a visit to Keewenaw Peninsula. I dropped my daughter off at MTU and we also explored and hiked all around the area. This lovely place allowed us some great downtime and a good resting spot. Would

This was a great place to stay while visiting our son at Michigan Tech. There was plenty of room for all of us in this truly unique building. We loved the historical building and the original decor.

We rented this place for a long weekend in May 2023. We were in Houghton for my daughter's graduation, and it was perfect for the five of us. Large living/dining/kitchen area was nice for a small dinner on Saturday night. The bathroom is huge and well maintained. Bedrooms were all a nice, similar size. The fact that is is in an old, renovated school building is just a bonus!

We really appreciated all the amenities of this property after past experiences staying in the area. Loved having all the space for our various gear, comfortable common space for lounging, washer and dryer, plenty of comfortable beds (and linens), and all the amenities you could want. The only thing I would recommend would be some additional things in the kitchen, since we end up cooking a lot during long stays in Houghton. A few more pots and pans (with lids) would do it. A good nonstick pan and cheese grater would put it over the top ;) Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Oh, and our team had the same property manager at another property. Also a great experience and much appreciated!

Comfortable, well maintained property with easy access to groceries, downtown areas, and parks. Central location to see some of the west UP sights. Many little touches make it clear owners care about hospitality.

This home was perfect for our visit to MTU. Perfect location, great host and lots of extra amenities. This is one of the best stocked VRBOs that I have stayed at. We will definitely return to this property.

Great place to stay. Love the old architecture of the Copper Country and this renovated school was an excellent place to stay. Beautiful building with large rooms and high ceilings. The rooms looked, felt, and smelled clean. You can tell the owners took care, offering many amenities above and beyond other rentals we have stayed in.

We dropped our daughter back at Michigan Tech for school. We took a week to do some hiking, viewing lots of waterfalls, kayaking, and visiting the mine. I thought the mine was a tourist trap, but my wife wanted to go. It was really interesting.
The apartment was clean and ready for us. The only suggestion is be sure to read unlocking instructions. Once we did that it was extremely easy. We will definitely return.

clean, comfortable and convenient to Michigan Tech
My husband was happy to have this lovely space to call home while our son attended a camp at Tech. He felt so much better having some space rather than staying at a cramped hotel. He said he appreciated the suggestions left on things to do and places to eat and it tried out a bunch of them. The decor and building were really cool and everything was clean and well stocked.

Nice, clean apartment with excellent accessibility to a number of local establishments and attractions. Less than 10 minutes to MTU campus. We had a great stay!
