Great location & views, very helpful staff. Very relaxing.

It is not a 5* hotel by any measure except perhaps the location & view. The rooms are a bit sparse & not 5* level, especially the bathroom. The small gym was a big disappointment for a 5* hotel.

Only good thing was breakfast!!

I don’t know where to start. First of all, they charged 120$ from my credit card twice two weeks before my vacation. When I tried to get contact with hotel the receptionist just hang up the phone several times, when I explained the situation. Arrival they were just offering us all inclusive for the same price, what we didn’t want, also promised us to pay back after one week. And also they didn’t offer us any compensation about it. Maybe we are going to wait for that money forever. We went to swim in the ocean and there was beach boys running straight towards us, trying to sell drugs. Beach boys are very annoying and agressive in this hotel. We had room in the highest floor and couldn’t be without window shade, they were looking and staring in all the time. Hotel area is having security guards, but not much help, they don’t hold beach boys away. If you like to have calm, nice vacation, I do not recommend this “5star hotel”. In the dinner, we asked for 500g lobster from the menu, what cost 4750 LKR. Waiter said that they don’t have 500gr, they have 800gr and price was also bigger 8000LKR. We didn’t want it and then the waiter came back and said that chef found smaller ones. This looks like happened because lack of tourists. Prices were same high like in Europe. It was the worst hotel we have ever visited. :(:(
