The grounds, decorations, and location are pretty. However, the thinness of the walls made sleeping horrible.

Poor food and service. One of many examples was an issue regarding no regular coffee. The senior aged couple in the room upstairs drove to the store to buy regular coffee for all of us in the Inn. The following day, another guest tried to make coffee and only found pecan coffee. There were literally two blueberry muffins and some gnat covered blackberries for 5-6 people! We were beyond disappointed for the price.

The owner, Kate, goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The whole house and grounds are very charming and comfortable. Kate puts a lot of care into the property and it shows. I stayed for a work trip and compared the cost with others that stayed at local hotels. McTernan was less expensive and undoubtedly nicer!

If you're unfamiliar with the area, pay attention and look for the sign by the turn off to the property. I missed it a couple of times, even with navigation.

had to look for towels the bathroom was not cleaned, trash was under the vanity, window sills not cleaned, bathroom rugs not clean, bedroom floors were uneven, suggest yellow stripping where the bedroom floor drops down to the bathroom floor as my husband almost fell, we both have a bad knee very hard to get in and out of the tub, shower head hard to use, not good for someone who may be handicapped as one has to step onto a stepstool and swing body over into the tub hallway floors not clean kitchen was not as cleaned as anticipated, microwave very dirty coffee pot did not work well, coffee was just warm danish needed to be covered better, natts were under the plastic wrap foods in the refrigerator belonged to other people, jelly jars were "double dipped" into, other items we had breakfast out someone on staff would be nice to have to "check in" to ensure kitchen is in better order, or any assistance for amenities when needed for the price of a three night stay, the clean up after discharge fee would have been fine except for items noted above thank you asking

I loved the Sexton Suite. It was like we had our own little apartment

A beautiful, charming place. My wife and I were there with two other couples. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was awesome! A different Irish Whiskey in each room - what a concept!

Can't really think of anything to improve.

Lovely and comfortable rooms and facilities. We felt very at home and welcomed.

lover’s of a slower time in history will enjoy this B&B. Beautiful and relaxing.
