Really nice location not far from stores and restaurants, you cannot beat the views the minute you walk in the door. Very cozy living room and open spacious kitchen. Comfortable master bedroom and bed, next to bath on one side. The other is is the fun room with lots of entertainment. The deck is spectacular with the views and comfortable rocking chairs, grill and table. We saw bears, raccoons and ground hogs. So much fun to be there, next time we will stay longer 3 nights is not enough time.

4 days wasn’t nearly enough. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The views are spectacular. The game room gave us hours of fun. We had bear sightings daily. The drive up the mountain road was a little steep but the road is nicely paved. Great neighborhood and the drive is about a 20 minute to Gatlinburg. Thad & Sarah are great host and quickly responded to any questions we had.

Only have great things to say! The prop manager was so helpful and easy to communicate with our whole stay. Will be back !

My two buddies and I had a fantastic time adventuring through nearby GSMNP during the day. We retreat to this conveniently located and secluded cabin each evening for relaxation and unwinding! Well stocked with all the basic essentials we needed to grill and cook tasty dinners while taking in the sweeping views overlooking the national park. Our nights were spent creating great memories around the pool and foosball tables. The game room was a GREAT place to unwind each night! We definitely plan on returning to this beautiful locale!

The property was amazing. Beautiful views. The drive up the mountain had a few sharp turns that were scary the first time but after a couple days you get used to it! We got to see a bear on the deck!!! Thad and Sarah were amazing to get a hold of! Overall would recommend this place for a great stay!

We loved the cabin! The views were spectacular, the game room was great for our whole family and we even got to see a few bears walk through the yard. The kitchen was furnished well and the beds were comfy. If we ever head back to the Smokies, we’d love to stay here again!

We spent a full week at Thad and Sarah’s cabin and it was perfect! Sarah went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome as she knew we were arriving on my daughter’s birthday. That extra little surprise of a birthday balloon put a huge smile on my daughter’s face after a long drive to get there! We spent most evening relaxing in the hot tub after dinner, watching for fire flies and counting the stars. We used the grill twice, it was great. The property has so much space to spread out. We enjoyed playing foos ball in the game room and watching tv while lounging on the comfy couches to relax after long days hiking in the National park. We definitely recommend this cabin, it was perfect in every way!

Outstanding views. Comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces. Great game room. Well maintained and appointed property about 25 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Quiet and private. Very relaxing mountain getaway.

We were so impressed with the beautiful view. Sitting on the balcony was the highlight of our stay. We also loved the game room - my kids were very entertained by the pool table. The beds were super comfy.....really an excellent trip!

The first night coming in we saw a big black bear and that was the only one we saw all trip unfortunately.The veiw from the cabin was amazing.We enjoy cooking in the kitchen and on the Grille. The game room was nice but the shuffboard needs to be waxed.The hot tub nice .We had a great time in the Cabin Thanks!!

This property greatly exceeded all of our expectations!! The views of the mountains were simply breathtaking! The cabin was absolutely amazing and perfect for our family. It was so clean, neat, decorated and updated so beautifully. And the game room was a hit with our daughters!! The owners were so kind and helpful to all of our needs!!!! Looking forward to coming back!!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time at Thad and Sarah's home. The views were stunning and the hot tub and game room provided the perfect activities to wind down after a day at the national park.

Such an amazing week! I brought my 16 yr old son, 20 yr old son, 22 yr old daughter and two of their friends on vacation stay here! The views here were amazing! Cooking in the kitchen for the 6 of us while see that view was the best! I absolutely loved that all six of us could sit as a family either on the back porch or in the dinning room together! The game room was a HUGE hit!!! The “kids” LOVED all of it. My parents and two of their friends were camping nearby and stopped by one night ti have a game night with us! The beds were comfortable and the layout was great! The hosts were very accommodating and so helpful! I loved the gifts that were left out! As a child I came to Gatlinburg/Pegion Forge with my parents and it was such a treat to bring my kids here and share such sweet memories with them at such a beautiful place. Between the views and the melas shared, that was my absolute favorite! You do not want to miss out on such a treat!!!

We had a great stay! We were blown away by the view from not just the back deck but also the living room! Beautiful home with so much fun inside, and relaxing outside. Only downside was scary unsteady stairs to the upstairs room that need to be updated, daughter (4) had to get the master downstairs because the stairs werent safe for her to go up and down. Host were extremely friendly and very responsive to all questions. We overall had a great stay!

I want to give a terrible review so others don’t book so we can come back more. It property was absolutely amazing. The view was gorgeous, the house was very clean and nice. I always worry about little things and this house exceeded my expectations. On the drive up to the house we seen a little bear cub and it’s mother so that was pretty awesome. The amities in the house was great. We had fun in the game room. Plenty of space for us. We definitely want to return to this house and stay longer next time and plan on doing so! If you are between properties like I was this will not disappoint.

We cannot more highly recommend this cabin! The cabin was spotless and the views of the mountains can’t be beat! We were also very excited to see a bear on our first morning there. He walked right underneath our balcony. The beds are clean and comfortable and the host was very responsive to our questions. We loved drinking coffee and mimosas out on the deck in the morning. Would definitely stay again!

We had such a great time in Gatlinburg and this property was one of the biggest highlights. Close to all of the activities but also in a beautiful, remote setting where you really get to enjoy the mountains. The hot tub, view and deck were just incredible and the hosts were great too. We can’t wait to return!

Awesome cabin overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. The views out the back windows and deck are hard to rival. The cabin was very clean and extremely comfortable. My kids loved it and couldn’t get enough of the hot tub and game room. While we went out a lot being at the cabin was a trip in and of itself. Grilling steaks from the local Lions Mart on the deck while overlooking the GSM definitely added to the dinner experience.! The property owner was very attentive and communicated with us extremely well. Bears…….we missed them but only by a half hour. Neighbors saw them at our cabin and shared photos. Mama and two cubs. They are very comfortable with approaching the cabins and even entered the neighbors porch. Be respectful and aware and I’m sure you will have a great experience. The cabin community felt very safe with local 24 hour security on site. The GSM are amazing. Other than small hikes to local rivers and falls we took the ride to Clingmans Dome on a beautiful clear day. Views are breathtaking. Zip-lining at CLIMB works right around the corner is highly recommended too! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Thank you!

We have stayed at this cabin before and had looked for it every year since, because we loved it so much. It definitely needs some TLC with a few repairs, but the new owners have not had it under their care for long and are no doubt in the process of these updates. They were friendly and readily available. We have been renting homes for many years and would take privately owned over company owned any day. This cabin is impeccably clean, has an incredible view, and the location is perfect. One of the other things we have learned to appreciate after all these years, is that it SMELLS like a cabin....firewood and fresh evergreens. The real fireplace (even if you don't use it) truly adds to the appeal in many ways. As our favorite "home" in Gatlinburg, we will definitely come back again. :)

This cabin is exactly as described and how it looks in the photos. The view is breathtaking. If you are looking for that comfortable cabin feel with amazing views, this is the place! I would most definitely stay here again.

We had a great time in the Smokey Mountains. The house was perfect with great views and just far enough away from downtown Gatlinburg to avoid the crowds. We would stay here again.

This was a great property for our family of 7. We mostly traveled to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park for hiking. The property was about a 30 minute drive to the entrance of the park. But even in the cabin we felt surrounded by nature because of the incredible view! Swoon! It was a bit chilly to hang out on the deck, but the giant windows allowed us to view the magical mountains while cooking, relaxing in the living room, and even from the master bedroom! We did brave the cold one day and got in the hot tub. It was a lot of fun! The kids loved the games in the game room! Especially the arcade game. We loved that there was a cupboard of board games too! I loved the well stocked kitchen with pots, pan, and a griddle for pancakes. The pantry even had basic spices! We cooked most of our breakfasts and dinners. (Touristy Gatlinburg is a bit pricey to feed a family of 7.). The grocery store Food City was 20 minutes away, and we’d hit it in the evenings on the way to the cabin after a day of hiking. A little thing, but I loved that all the light switches and kitchen cupboards were labeled! Brilliant! Our only concern was the sleeping arrangements. The cabin says it sleeps 8, but really we only found 7 spots. My husband and I took one king bed (which was very comfortable), we put 2 teen girls on the other king bed, our 2 little girls on the futon bed (which was very squeaky) and our teenage son slept on the living room couch. It worked for us, but if we’d had another person we’re not sure where we would have put them. There was a Porta crib, but our kids were too big for that. :) Thad and Sarah were wonderful to work with! They promptly answered all our questions and were positively delightful! We would stay here again!!
