Dottie’s home exceeded expectations! She thought of everything to make it comfortable for our visit! Furnished with everything plus more than we needed for our 3 nights! She left notes to explain everything, toys for the dog, lots of towels, cold water in the fridge and a bottle of wine with a thank you note when we arrived! Just perfect! Beautiful property!

Just the right spot! Quiet neighborhood with easy access to all things Asheville - the Biltmore, downtown, Arts District, good eats, and shops. Accommodating host that made us feel right at home. Comfortable and welcoming home with all the amenities. Lovely place in a beautiful town.

Due to the pandemic and my having a condition which categorizes me as immunocompromised ( due to medication) my husband was VERY careful with choosing a place and location. This was the first time I left the area here in 4 years, and we always traveled.
I can’t begin to thank the owner for the cleanliness of the house, it being well stocked, the upkeep of the yard, the privacy, the wonderfully functioning air conditioning/ heat ( which we used both of), the washer/dryer and dishwasher ( both easy to use and did a great job).
The home provided easy access to Arboretum, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Village etc. The area is great because it’s quiet and not congested. I could go on and on but for someone who has had to give up a lot I lost out on nothing with this rental. We will definitely plan on staying here again! Sincerely, Debbie

Very clean, cozy property convenient to all of Asheville’s attractions. This was a perfect stay for our 4 day trip. Host is very responsive and helpful.. Property matches the descriptions and photos. Would recommend for adults looking for a quiet location with comfortable beds close to everything.

This was the perfect property for our family of 4. My kids loved the the large backyard, and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful! Perfect for a family getaway with a short drive to many Asheville locations.

This was the perfect place to stay, we hiked, shopped, did breweries, Biltmore and more! Dottie's place was within 10-15 min. of all- the farthest was for hiking! It is super clean, very well appointed with everything you could need for cooking if you wanted to. Very relaxing and spa like. Dottie was very communicative and responded to any questions we had and even offered to ship our charger that we accidentally left!

Walking into Dottie’s place was like arriving at a family member’s home—instant comfort, warmth, and calm. We were visited by the beautiful hummingbirds that made relaxing on the porch to drink coffee in the morning, and wine in the evening, just spectacular. Small touches like handwritten notes, toiletries (which came in handy), a regional map with personal recommendations, and a welcome gift were evidence of attention from a host who goes the extra step to ensure the comfort of her guests. Everything from the layout of the home to the proximity to downtown Asheville to the buttery-soft sheets and beds made Dottie’s rental the perfect stay. We are already talking about a return trip back. Thank you so much, Dottie!

Wonderful Home Base!!
We couldn't have asked for a more cozy home away from home. Everything we needed was there for cooking at home, hanging out, etc. and we were regularly visited by a couple of hummingbirds.
Our hostess was really on top of things for check-in, etc. and had great recommendations for a few must do things.

Definitely Cozy and Comfort
My family and I really enjoy stay here. The owner has a great two bed house with such a relax atmosphere. One of my family member enjoyed walking on the grass. Our family enjoyed sitting out on the back desk with lights. This is one of the best places we stayed on VRBO.

Wonderful
Perfect home away from home. We could not have asked for more. The house felt warm and welcoming with all its thoughtful decorations and other touches such as a basket of toiletries or candles in the bathrooms. Our host Dottie responded promptly to any questions we had. We loved how bright the house was on the inside and the back deck overlooking a nice big backyard that was perfect for playing catch. The kitchen was probably better equipped than mine at home and everything was provided for including a wide array of spices and condiments. The house was a quick 10 to 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville. We certainly enjoyed ourselves very much and will stay here again on our next trip to Asheville.
