We loved the place,would stay there again. Was very clean and well put together. The patio was a hit. I love relaxing and sitting by a fire.

The house was very clean, there were plenty of amenities including dishes, utensils, hygiene products, cleaning products, etc. Communication with the owner of the house was very easy, she helped us with everything we needed and responded within minutes every time we reached out! The only reason I didn't give this listing 5 stars is because the neighborhood is very sketchy. The house is surrounded by unkept tralier park houses. The whole neighborhood is a trailer park with nice houses here and there, very weird.

The bonus guest house was perfect for our adult son, and our teenage son loved “his space” in the loft. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for relaxing, the neighborhood was quiet, and the surrounding landscape added a layer of privacy and ambiance. The location was a great mid point for a day trip along Shore Acres and dune buggy adventures in Florence. Great place with wonderful outdoor space. Enjoyed our stay. Lakeside has so much potential.

The accomodations are cozy and charming. It was difficult from the photos to discern which rooms were part of which house (main house or guest house). Main house has the kitchen/living area, one downstairs bedroom that has a half bath in it, full bath in the hall with shower and tub, plus the loft area with 2 twin beds and a sofa & desk. The loft area is very roomy. The upper level of the guest house has one bedroom and a bathroom with a shower only (no tub). The downstairs of the guest house is a storage room. There is nice deck area connecting the upper levels of each house. The courtyard, patio area is lovely. The landscaping is lush. We enjoyed our stay. The host was very communicative and responsive to questions.

We had a great stay, exploring the town was alot of fun and the property is really nice...but its kind of in a weird spot next to some not so friendly neighbors and barking loud yippy dogs, every single time you walk outside. It was a little weird to know that the owner has sound and video recording on you while you are there including several cameras. I didnt realize this until after my booking and I was sent the "RULES" (which there are ALOT of). It was too late to cancel for a refund. I can understand the video of the driveway/enterance but I think its unnecessary to have video and recording in the courtyard where family and friends are supposed to hang out/relax and enjoy eachothers company on vacation. Who can really relax knowing everything they do is being watched....creepy. We had to do alot of "cleaning" per the rules before we left which made it feel like I spent my vacation doing the housekeepers work, why Im I paying a cleaning fee when I had to do all the laundry, dishes, trash removal, and beds...kind of fustrating to say the least. But if none of this bothers you, the beds are comfortable the property has lots of greenery so it feels sort of private (besides the cameras) the owners are very friendly and answer all questions in a timely mannor and it seems like a safe property for kids which is always my main concern. Our 3 year old loved it!

The perfect family vacation home. Absolutely beautiful. Everything you need in a kitchen to cook and serve family meals. This home provides ultimate relaxation. You will be pleasantly surprised. We are looking forward to booking every time we visit Lakeside!!!

Due to certain circumstances, we were scrambling for a home in the area very last second & this home was the only one that fit our criteria. That, paired with the fact that it had no reviews made us a little nervous, but we were desperate for anything, so I booked it. Owner was immediately in communication to ensure it all went smoothly & when we walked in the door, we were incredibly delighted & impressed with this charming home. Everything was clean, cozy, clearly organized, and exactly as promised. The extra upstairs detached suite was also perfect for our needs & everyone found their beds to be comfortable. Throughout the whole process, the owner was super helpful & communication was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Cheryl was awesome. The home is quite unique with the added bonus of the guest suite. Very clean and well stocked. We were there for a short time and didn't get to fully enjoy all it had to offer. Thank you agian for everything. Would definitely rent this place agian in the future.

A lovely place. The fire pit was fun - bring some wood & marshmallows. Great to have a separate cottage & 2.5 bathrooms. The garden space and decks would be great in the summer. Enjoyed our quick stay.
