Staying at the Cottages on Monastery was a lovely experience. The cottage was clean and well equipped for our needs. The flowers on the porch were lovely. The home was centrally located within easy walking distance to major attractions. The owner was very responsive to our needs. Every time I called Sitka Travel, they were helpful and answered all my questions.

Overall it was a good stay.The cottage was in a great location for walking around town and close to most attractions. The cottage was very clean and in good shape. It was just a very tiny space for my husband and I. The twin bed had a trundle so I slept on one and my husband the other. It was like we were doing a sleepover. We loved it but it was a lot smaller room than we thought. The TV had a Amazon Firestick so we could watch somethings but it seemed like the internet only allowed a few hours and it stopped working. Since we just used it for background noise we were fine.The vacation rental management staff was helpful and kind. She greeted us when we arrived and helped us get in the door.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Cottages on Monastery! Tess was very accommodating, everything was clean, and the location couldn't be better - very central, which was perfect since we didn't have a car. We would have loved a full-size bed option, but the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy, affordable stay!

It was very nice, one block from center of town, the decks. Comfortable, one block from good coffee and breakfast bagels ( the longline ).

Good proximity to downtown Sitka. Very friendly owner, very clean. A little tight for two people, particularly sleeping accommodations with two single trundle beds, but we were comfortable. Nice and quiet.
