This was a great property and hope to stay there again.

Staying at this property again is out of the question unless both the property owner and Vacasa take immediate action. Despite the property offering breathtaking oceanside and sound side views, my experience was marred by numerous significant flaws. Let's start with the most pressing issue: the overwhelming stench that permeated the main living area. It was nearly a dealbreaker. No matter how picturesque the surroundings may be, a putrid odor that saturates the very floor is an absolute deterrent to enjoying the property. In addition to the foul stench, the cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. The quilts on the beds were visibly dirty and in dire need of cleaning. It's disheartening to find such disregard for basic hygiene and cleanliness in a vacation property. However, amidst these disappointments, I must acknowledge that the property has the potential to be truly fantastic if the feedback is properly addressed. The oceanside and sound side views, touted as remarkable features, would indeed be captivating if one could actually enjoy them from enough chairs—unfortunately, there were only two available. The property's potential continues with the inclusion of a hot tub, which could be a great feature if not for the significant challenge of removing its overweight and cumbersome cover. Even upon succeeding, the shocking sight of sand and what can only be described as a turd at the bottom of the hot tub was absolutely revolting. Furthermore, I encountered several cockroaches during my stay, which added to the growing list of disappointments. It is disheartening to see pests roaming freely in a supposedly well-maintained vacation property. Lastly, the property's cleanliness was further compromised by overflowing trash bins and an inaccessible recycling bin surrounded by a swarm of flies. This neglect only added to the unsightly and unsanitary conditions. Overall, my experience at this property was far from satisfactory. The stench in the main living area, the unclean quilts on the bed, and several other issues significantly detracted from the potential enjoyment of the property. However, if the property owner and Vacasa take serious note of this feedback and address these concerns promptly, there is a chance for this property to live up to its promises and truly offer a fantastic vacation experience.

Older house that has had some updates. Good location and layout of the home. Nice views of Atlantic and sunsets over the sound. Some road noise off the back but not too bad. A few issues like sliding doors that didn't lock and a but or two. Hot tub cover weighs 100 lbs so that would be first on my list to replace. For the price I would stay here again for sure. Nice neighborhood in Avon.

The house is a great size, great location however, very dated and not well kept. . Kitchen cabinets, counter and sink are super dated. House had a ton of kitchen accessories but no blender, only 4 wine glasses and no beer mugs. Deck furniture was falling apart. Screen on deck windows, feel off the window. Leak in ceiling of 1 king room/drywall falling off. Leak in bunk room .. water coming through light fixture. Showers in king room very tiny. Shower head fell off of 3 floor bath. Lamps and light fixtures daters, batteries missing from TV controller.Exterior needs to be painted. Upkeep is desperately needed. Pretty disappointed on the interior.

Location deserves a 5 star because of location after that maybe a 2-3 star. If I could post pictures of some easy and not so easy fixes, I would, as I took pictures. In one of the master bedrooms, there is cardboard stuck in between the ceiling and the fan to make it not shake and make "as much" noise as it was doing. The trim in this room was never finished, it just raw wood that does not match the entire house, this was in more than one room, further more, this room had "plaster" falling off the ceiling, as well. The upper deck had nails that were not all hammered in and my child cut their foot on one of the raised nail heads. I would have been happy to fix IF I had a hammer. Easy fix but the attention to detail lacks in this rental. There were weeds growing up in the outside showers. I do realize it is an outside shower and you are more in "nature" and trust me, I took all my showers outside, as my bathroom had a shower curtain that touched you the entire time, should I have have chosen to shower inside, which I did not. The second level deck had furniture that needs desperately needs replaced, as it looked like it black ground in dirt/gunk on the cushions. The house also had a "20 year old" dust buster laying around that doesn't work...why keep it, just throw it away. I was afraid to, as I didn't want to be charged for it. But it is of no value to the rental. Full rack of spices, according to the owners, hummm no, not even salt... Trust me I can buy my own but this is the very first house that has never had a full collection of spices in the kitchen. Very weird. Screens were missing from the windows and down at the entrance there was a large screen that was destroyed just laying around for no purpose at all. Once again, I would have just thrown it away...just makes the place look junky. The house is dated and worn, that didn't bother us so much, the ocean is harsh on things and wears things quicker but taking a little pride in the small things and they will go very far.

Home was very clean. Great location with ocean view and supermarket very close by.

Beach access 1/4 mile to the right that has steps for easier access than going over the beach dune access to the left. One bedroom has no dresser and that was really the only complaint. Food Lion is about 30 seconds away, which was very convenient. Grill works great, too!
