Breakfast was oK. Some staff were very nice: Carolina + Francisco. The grounds were beautiful + well-maintained. When there was hot water, the shower was good.

The 2 young women at the front desk were very unfriendly + unhelpful. Only Francisco spoke fair English. The rest of the staff knew no English! We stayed for a week but the pool was not opened until the weekend, when the Mexican guests arrived. The hotel is too far away from amenities to walk, and the front desk woman refused to make change for us, for the bus. The electrical outlets in the room were far too few and very difficult to access. We had to pry a bedside table, glued to the bed frame, away from the wall to reach one working outlet. The pressure from the table permanently bent and weakened my cell phone cable where it exited its adaptor. We had to join Netflix at our own expense. There was not always hot water.

Clean, excellent mattress, excellent toiletries, slow internet, excellent free breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, restaurant, and pool.

Horrible booking confirmation process. I booked 24 hours prior to arrival. Confirmation message said "payment due 48 hours prior to arrival. Deposit to our bank account and send copy to us as proof. If not paid by 2pm of arrival day reservation will automatically be cancelled" However they sent no bank account information to make payment. They also said I could call if making payment by CC or Debit, but BOTH of their phone numbers didn't work. They had a WhatsApp number but they never responded.

Little to no Wi-Fi service for phone and tablet devices in room. Door lock card malfunctions. Lack of parking space. Limited dinning hours. Mosquito control.

Quiet, nice pool, breakfast was good

Wifi didn't always work. Speed went up and down throughout the day. If you're planning to work remote from there, I'd advise to stay somewhere else.

The facilities where big and have several activities

The room was supposed to be Delux upgrade by Booking and it was a little small.

It’s a 4 mike taxi ride to Ajijic town so not really walkable , not a complaint just an observation

Breakfast very much reduced options, relative to past stays... presume Covid related.

Have stayed at Pescador multiple times in the past and it was always excellent. This time, no hot water for shower, had to visit front desk to have hot water turned on.. New wing does not have any heat in the rooms for cool/cold days. Would consider staying again, but not during Covid times.
