We stayed for a month at this beautiful condo at The Roy. The unit was clean and neat and very classy. Very comfortable. Pretty good views of parts of the harbor. Sheila, the property manager, met with us and showed us everything we needed to know about the unit, the appliances, the building rules, etc. and also set up a tour with the concierge who showed us the pool and pool table, sauna, exercise room, library, parking elevator, etc. Being there a month we really used the washer and dryer and the kitchen was well supplied with dishes, silver, appliances, cooking stuff, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher - it was really complete for anything we wanted to do. Sheila had gobs of information about the neighborhood, restaurants, entertainment, exhibits, museums and lots more. An important point about this condo is the location. You are right in the middle of this beautiful city. Everything is within walking distance including the beautiful harbor, restaurants, the Neptune Theater (where we thoroughly enjoyed a really hilarious play), museums and other sightseeing kinds of things. My wife and I both agreed that The Roy was THE place to stay in Halifax and if and when we come back this is the place we will stay. What more can one say. It was terrific and we are so glad we came. Our place was quite comfortable, and the location was terrific. We were a short two blocks from the harbor and a short two blocks from Argyle St.- with many restaurants. There was also Arthur's- a lovely grocery store only a block away. Sheila was very accomodating and offered great suggestions for other good restaurants to try. The building concierges were very cordial and helpful. It would be helpful to have some instructions for the appliances and for handling garbage. But we very much enjoyed this rental.

Excellent accommodation at a great price. Very modern unit in a high end building. Great location in downtown Halifax, where there is so much to do during the summer period. Always a festival or holiday celebration going on. Close to many bars, restaurants, and markets. Parking was included as well as access to all of the building amenities at no extra charge. Indoor pool, large weight area with yoga, steam rooms, and sauna. We really enjoyed are stay at The Roy.

I spent almost three months at The Roy while transitioning to Halifax for work. The place was perfect. Great amenities, responsive owner's rep, VIEWS! I was genuinely sad my stay had to come to an end. Highly recommend.

This is a gorgeous property. The wrap around balcony gives you stunning views, you can watch sunrise each morning! The condo is comfortable and has all the things you need to make you feel like you are home. Sheila was terrific with check in and communication through my stay. The condo has great amenities including a pool. The location can’t be beat for a Halifax visit, you can walk to shops, restaurants, coffee shops and more. I will definitely try to stay here the next time I’m in town.

Wonderful place to stay! The balcony is phenomenal, and we enjoyed many evenings on the outdoor furniture provided. The location is great and is right in downtown Halifax. We walked to the Waterfront a lot and even got to see fireworks shows from the balcony. There is a nice grill available on the balcony as well. The host, Shelia, is top notch and very helpful! The internet was great; my husband works from home and had no issues throughout the stay. The dishwasher worked really well, and the heated floors were a really nice touch! There is also a vacuum available to use along with cleaning supplies. Some things to note: This place works really well for one or two people as there is just one bed and a small futon in the extra room; there is no table, just bar stools at the eat-in counter; and there are blackout shades in the bedroom, but light can get in between them. Absolutely amazing place to stay-we highly recommend it!

The location of the condo is very good, in the center of Halifax, downstairs are all kinds of restaurants and food, only 5 minutes walk to the beach, L-shaped oversized balcony, you can see the sea from home. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are perfect for families. The owner was very friendly and helped us set up the balcony and gave us a free BBQ gas tank. Highly recommend this residence, very convenient and comfortable for both office and travel!!
