Very clean, lots of room to be together, awesome kitchen. Grandkids loved the variety of bicycles.

Clean and quaint house that is just a quick drive to several beaches. House is fully equipped for a beach vacation. Property manager is quick to respond and reliable. Perfect location for an extended family vacation!

The property was great. The house provided a lot of separate spaces as well as large spaces that the entire family could share. They provided a lot for entertaining the entire family, and it was close to the beach and state and national parks.

The place was spacious, organized and well-equipped. It had everything we needed to feel at home and our host, Penny, was very helpful and responsive as well. The game room, backyard were a hit and the Dunes is just nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would not mind visiting again!

Penny’s place was perfect for our family vacation. There were enough different spaces where we could spread out and if people needed a break they could go to their own space. But the gathering spaces were also wonderful, especially the kitchen table. My adult children loved the loft space and the toys were wonderful and welcome for my grandson. unfortunately the weather was not sure of your list but I don’t think even Penny could control that. Lol. Everything was just fabulous. Thank you Penny for sharing your marvelous home!

Such a nice home with everything we needed. It's close proximity to the dunes was great. And we could come back to this peaceful house with room and activities for all ages. Plus the owner was super responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend!

This property was an excellent place to stay as we had 13 family members in the house and had plenty of room. The swingset and slide in the backyard were a hit with the kids. The proximity to the Dunes and the passes provided by the host made it easy to get there early before the crowds arrived. Penny is an excellent hostess and communication was great.

Our family/friends chose this property for a place to stay for our daughter's wedding nearby. It turned out to be a perfect spot for us! Our 4 teenage/early twenties grandsons loved the game loft above the garage and the numerous items (bikes, games, video games, basketball hoop, etc.) to occupy their time. The fire pit was a big hit as was the spacious kitchen and large gathering room to watch movies together. When it was time for bed, the bedrooms were spaced so far apart that we all had privacy. There were extra supplies in case we forgot something and a Dollar General was so close if we needed anything else. It was the perfect space for the perfect wedding! Thank you so much, Penny, for opening up your beautiful space to us. Great memories were made. I'm just sad I didn't have time to see the Dunes! LOL!

There’s no doubt that the owner checked every box when making sure that everything was perfect. From the cleanliness to the supplies provided fully stocked kitchen towels, amenity cabinet I couldn’t of asked for anything more. This place exceeded my expectations and the pictures don’t do it justice. I would recommend anyone looking for a great place to stay to check this listing out. The beds were comfortable. It was plenty of room for me and my family and it was very private. Penny was a great host and her communication with spot on. The check in process was very easy . I honestly felt that I was at home I highly recommend it!!!

My family loved our stay. It has the right amount of space in the kitchen for everyone to come together and areas of the house to get away for a nap for those that need it. Our kids loved the game room loft above the garage!

Nice, well-kept property was a great place for our family to gather for the holiday. clean and comfortable - even had a christmas tree set up in the front room. plenty of space , kitchen well stocked with pots, utensils, etc. hosts were super responsive and helpful. would gladly stay here again.

The Nook was huge with plenty of room to spread out. The host had lots of games and extras available. Store within walking distance if needed.

What’s not to be said about this property. It had everything and more. Several of us have stayed in different properties around the country and we ranked this one as one of the best. I feel some pride because I am a NW Indiana resident and for family from Puerto Rico and Arizona to say so many positive comments makes me feel we’ve selected the perfect property.

We had 15 adult women in our group spanning 3 generations from ages 19-74 and everyone had sleeping space in an actual bed. The beds were all comfy and had enough blankets to keep us warm. It's so nice that all the linens are provided, including enough pillows! Everything was very clean on arrival so we started off impressed. The home is very well laid out for large groups to be together and enjoy some together time, but also allows for space to retreat & separate if you need it. The bonus game room above the garage is such a great extra space for more active games. The garage was also stocked with multiple bikes but due to weather we didn't use them. We also didn't get a chance to enjoy the firepit or outdoor spaces, but they looked great. The kitchen/dining space was so much larger than I expected so that was a nice surprise. I think one of the most impressive things though is the thoughtful little extras that Penny thought of and provided! They are too many to name, but many in our group commented on how nice it was to have everything thought of and provided. The only suggestion we have is that a box or 2 of tissues provided would be nice, but its's certainly not a complaint! We really hope to be able to do this again & come back to The Nook.

House is in a great location. Plenty of space inside and outside. Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

This property is amazing! Everything you could possibly need is there. We had family from 1 1/2 years old to 90 years old and the place was perfect!

The nook had everything we needed and more! Penny showed how much she cares about guests when it came to the house and all the little things that she did. Everything was as pictured but perfect for all ages! We all loved the game room and the fire pit! Thank you for such an amazing stay it truly made the stay wonderful

The house is clean and well set up to accommodate a group of adults and children, although we didn’t have children with us. A number of great indoor and outdoor gatherings spaces.

Our stay at Penny’s home was beyond perfect. When we showed up, we were all instantly blown away. The place was in amazing condition, so well decorated and came with every little thing you could possibly need. We way overpacked thinking we would need to bring basics, but she had everything you could possibly need. We could have come with groceries and clothes and we wouldn’t have needed anything else. I also have to applaud her on how set up this place was for kids…from the playground, to the game room, to the step stools in the bathroom…to the bean bags in the main TV room….the kids (in addition to the adults) didn’t want to leave when it was time to check out. It was also a nice touch to provide passes to the state park which is just a stones throw away from the property. We will most definitely be recommending Penny’s home to others and we would love to return in the future!

The Nook was a great place for our family birthdays/vacation. Very large, clean, home with more than enough room for our needs. The Nook's location made visiting both the National and State Parks easy, with just a few minutes to the State Park and not much travel time even to either end of the National Park. Penny was very responsive; we'd asked about a DVD player and one had been provided when we arrived., along with a much appreciated welcome basket The "Out of State" State Park pass was appreciated as well; We were able to visit on two days at no additional cost. We had no issues at all, but did appreciate her welcome and departure messages. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

We had such a great stay and all of the extra amenities left by the host were so sweet! The game room above the garage is awesome! And the kids loved playing on the backyard play place! The short distance to the beach (6ish minutes) was a big plus for us too!

The Nook is a perfect choice for 2 families with kids. This house offers plenty of space (indoors and outdoors) lots of extra touches (board games, kids books, a game room!, state park passes, beach chairs and umbrella) and a well stocked kitchen. The location can’t be beat if you’re planning to visit the Dunes State Park. Overall, we loved the house and Penny was a very caring and responsive host.

We found this house big enough to hold us all and it did! Could have maybe used 1 more bathroom but it worked out. Was clean when we got there and that is a must for us! Would stay again. Had problems with water not being hot and Penny got right on it and got it fixed! Thanks 😊
