Not being able to park outside apartment

I liked the location and that the place was available for one month. I liked that it was a small apartment with a functional kitchen; an oven, stove top, dish and clothes washer and drying rack for clothes, a refrigerator and freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave, and plates, bowls, drinking glasses. There were a couple of pots and pans and cookery items and eating utensils. Kitchen soap and sponge. Bath towels and mat and hand soap (from a dispenser). The place looks nice from the outside. And the pictures posted present the apartments well.

Upon arrival, there is no one to greet you (even though there is a 'desk' for reception at the front, no one ever sits there. There is no one to 'talk' to for help. Only communication is via email or booking.com app, and you always get the sense that you're speaking to a robot, not a human being. I am certain I was charged twice for "cleaning" but the apartment I stayed in was never cleaned while I was there. In fact, no one ever knocked at my door to ask if I needed anything. You sometimes see cleaning staff (they are nice and helpful, but look run off their feet). The apartment did not feel clean. The kitchen counters were a bit mucky to the touch. And the floors all looked like they needed a deep clean (under the counters, sofa, bed, etc...) One of the small fry pans was old and getting rusty. The utensils were the absolute cheapest quality, so were almost worthless. No bath/shower soap was in the bathroom. The blinds that you can close during the evening, work in reverse, or not at all. You are given no cleaning supplies or rubbish bin liners, and yet, you are expected to keep the apartment relatively clean. There's no actual information where one can place their rubbish or recycling. ... The hallway carpeting is not kept clean. Someone's dog pooed in the front entry way and the owner did not clean up after their dog, so the poo got smeared on the carpeting in and throughout the building. The place looks nice from the outside but has a feel of grossness on the inside. Having said all this, I am grateful I had a place to stay when I needed it, but they certainly made good money from my stay.

Good location. Central to Kings Lynn

Facilities of the apartment were odd. The main building the apartments is housed in was in poor repair and of mixed business use. Apartment was difficult to locate. The apartment itself had no wardrobe just a hanging rail in the hallway. I have stayed in cheaper better accomodation.

How it was finished . The location was amazing. The town has plenty to do.

The blinds are not black out so we were up very early , and the seagulls !!! They make noise all night . Some sort of sound proofing .

No pressure in Kitchen water, Wi-fi did not connect or work, no internet.

Accommodation was very central and the rooms were fairly comfortable Kitchen had everything we needed

Route from front door to rooms was a bit like a rabbit warren Funny smell in corridors and carpets in corridors a bit stained Rooms were very light at night due to timber yard lights across the road No mirror in bedroom No pegs to hang towels/dressing gown on in bathroom

Location was nice. Apartment was clean. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Apartment had a fridge / freezer. Very handy in a heatwave!

Window blinds let in too much light, especially early in the morning. Noise from Gulls, especially early in the morning. The cord for the lining room blind was broken / missing. This made it impossible to raise. The picture on the television was too big for the screen. This meant the edges of the picture were clipped off. Would have preferred a bath to a shower.

Lovely, clean apartments in a great location in the centre of Kings Lynn.

Clean and bright apartment

On previous stays there has been tea coffee sugar in the apartment but there wasn't any this time.

property was great admin less so. Felt I was being bombarded with emails all saying the same thing. I sent the ID requested, but they kept on repeatedly asking for it.

Location was good despite the unexpected and noisy fun fair in the square opposite the hotel. The remote agents on the phone were polite and quickly resolved the main problem of missing bedding.

On arrival the freezer was iced over wedging the door open. The tiled kitchen floor had a fair amount of water on it from the defrosted ice. Also the bottom compartment had broken plastic. There was a broken shower head holder. Even though I had pre-alerted them the sofa bed was going to be used no bedding was provided (though it was delivered within a few hours that evening) There were no hooks or rails in the bathroom to hang wash bags or dry towels. Very unusual! There were no coat hooks in the hallway. Strangely there was an ironing board but no iron! They really do need to fit blackout curtains and/or blinds in place of the flimsy thin material blinds. Looking at past reviews some time ago I see others have said the same but promised action not taken as of mid February 2023. Pre arrival I received 18 mails from oracle property via booking.com. This has to be some sort of record! Amusingly I didn’t receive an email, as promised in the other messages, containing the code for the key safe. I had to phone up for the code. There were some other points such as an ill fitting door to the flat (closure wouldn't shut the door and you needed to force it) and poor sound insulation to the other flats. I was able to quickly get through on the phone re freezer and missing bedding. I had no answer to the other opportunities for improvement listed here which I mailed to the property agents at [email protected] .

Very clean. Staff were quick to respond. Good location.

Hairdryer but no mirror in bedroom Loud fridge freezer kept you awake on the sofa bed. No bedding for the sofa bed, had to call for some to be delivered No tea towel No frying pan and saucepans were too small Too light in the bedrooms/no blackout blinds or curtains

Nice apartment

Double booked then phoned said had a problem with it and wouldn't be ready till 8 pm then sent me a code for same one then someone tried to get on about 7.30 also no heating in the bathroom which was cold in the winter and no where near next room with heating

There was a fair ground outside my window, property was ALOT smaller than the pictures and we ended up leaving a day earlier due to the heating not working properly and the smell from the corridor!

instructions how to use heating would be useful.

the entrance to the apartment was difficult to negotiate and there was an unusual smell in the corridor

Right in the town centre, nice modern apartments, cleanliness was up to standard
