Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great 6 days at this condo. It was clean and comfortable enough to be acceptable because nothing is as comfortable as home. Just want to comment the there are fire ants living in the sandy planted areas surrounding the parking lot and they found us as we were packing the car to leave which made for a painful journey home as we kept finding them as we drove. I know they are hard to control but efforts need to be made. Our only other concern was the lack of password protected Wi-Fi. This made us concerned for the security of financial transactions made using the public Wi-Fi. We asked for a password but were told that it is only available to owners.

It's a quiet community right on the beach next to a state park with 1/2 mile of undeveloped land and an inlet to the lake. It's close enough to the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk if you want to visit. Our kids have always run free in the complex since there is not far for them to go. Carillon has some shops and restaurants if you want options on property, grocery stores and restaurants are just out side the main gate. The kitchen/bathroom could use some updating but the bed was comfortable and the unit was clean.
