Pool was great for the hot weather we had, so many great restaurants to choose from in Bendigo

Pool water low, needed more frypans non stick, but overall very comfortable and accessible. Air con very handy in summer

We book 2 weeks prior and payment made. The morning we left to go on holiday I had noticed we did not receive any check in details the night before as per the Host's previous messages. I messaged them early with no reply. We made our way to from Melbourne to Bendigo messaging several times on the way, no response. We arrived had lunch and still no response. An hour prior to check-in I contact Stayz, they tried to call the Host, no answer. I was told by Stayz to make our way to the house as we still had an hour before check in. Sitting in the drive way with my family 30mins after check in still no response from the host. Stayz again tried to contact the Host, nothing. Was then told by Stayz I would have to seek alternative accommodation and they would pay for it (Stayz still hasn't reimbursed me??) We found somewhere and checked in, I then recieve a message from the Host asking did I not receive the Check in details?? Really?? Sent after the check in time. Several messages back and forth over the next few hours they finally sent the check in details to the house at 6.30pm that night with absolutely NO apology for the inconvenience of having to find somewhere to find and stay for our family 3hours from home at the end of long day. We love Bendigo but this was the worst experience I have ever had with any accommodation any where in the country.

House was great, no issues with accessing the house. Location was fine, it is 5 to 10 minute driving distance to the town. Overall a positive experience, the only small issue was lack of oven trays, pots etc...

Property was over rated and miss leading but was comfortable to stay in. Needs a good clean and spruce up, very little cooking equipment. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice and modern.

Amazing house with everything you could possibly need . Pool is beautiful and aircon in house kept all areas cool in the heat ! Only possible thing I could think to improve it a remote for the garage . Excellent property and property managers !

Our stay was quite disappointing based mainly on the cleanliness of the property.
It's always a risk booking a place with no reviews and unfortunately it didn't pay off.
The property was described as "luxurious" however the place was not as clean or fresh as it appears in the photos.
I got the feeling the property was until recently owner occupied or had long term renters in (which is completely fine) however the place needs a deep clean both inside and out. It appeared no care was given to preparing the property for holiday rentals.
Glass shelves & cup holders in the bathroom were filthy, old food crumbs in kitchen drawers, unclean cups & bowls & dirty kitchen bin. Both regular garbage bin and recycling bin was full to the brim so wouldn't couldn't get anything in.
There was only one dishwashing tablet for a family or 4 for a 3 night stay and the cleaning cloths provided were dirty.
I don't expect stuff windows or pool fence to be cleaned for each stay however it looked like they hadn't been cleaned in atleast a year. Given that most of downstairs were windows it was unsightly again not lining up with the "luxurious" description.
Overall for the price of the accommodation (which seemed to be at a premium when we booked) it was extremely disappointing.
We did contact the property manager via the app and provided photos and our cleaning fee was returned.
What was good: bedding appeared brand new, just out of the packet. Plenty of cups, plates, cutlery etc and pool was self cleaning.
