great area, close to a lot of hikes. perfect location. was perfect for a weekend getaway!

We stayed at Camp Shroom. Our campsite was tucked away and private while easy to access when we arrived. Everything we needed was there for us - fire pit, table, bench, grill, and hammock! If you enjoy primitive camping, having a bathroom nearby felt like an added bonus. We enjoyed the trails on the property, found the meditation and fitness areas, and saw some vegetation that was new to us. The property is close to town, where we were able to get firewood and charcoal, and even enjoyed some gluten free/vegan pizza from a great little pizza shop (they have traditional pizza as well). We were not far from the parks and hiked at various places. It truly is a beautiful property. We felt safe and relaxed. The hosts were responsive and we plan to return the next time we want to explore Hocking Hills.

Stayed for one night at camp shroom with girlfriends for a quick getaway to celebrate a birthday. We took a 20 foot RV and it fit perfectly. The location is secluded, and with only two other campsites around it feels very private. This peaceful spot was perfect for hiking (exceptionally beautiful in the fall) and stargazing. We caught a glimpse of the Orionids meteor shower! Raven and DJ are exceptional hosts who make everything easy for you. They are doing very important work at their property, and I with them all the success. We plan to make Raven’s Retreat a yearly tradition. 💚

We LOVED the "shroom" camp site that we have stayed at with my son at Raven's retreat last night. This is one of the three designated camping sites with enough separation that you can enjoy peace and privacy. If you want to get away from it all, you are into stargazing, building a bonfire and reconnect with nature then this is the place for you. We talked to the owners, Dj and Raven, who are very passionate about a healthy lifestyle and creating this retreat area with several rental options available for the public while preserving its' natural habitat and the peace of the wildlife. They also helped dozens of people regain their health. We were very impressed by all of this. I highly recommend supporting their noble efforts. We will be back for sure :) Thanks ! Dora

Owners are super nice, campsite clean, peaceful and rustic. Only 10-15 minutes from Rock Cave, Conkles Hollow, Ash Cave and more. Spent 3 nights and had a great time. Totally planning on staying there again.
