lovely property, well maintained with excellent configuration that suited our family
only minor point was the upstairs shower was not working but the owner had pre warned us about this so we knew what to expect but still would’ve have been better if pressure was sorted but understand the reasons why. everything else was very good indeed. tight parking which was fine for me but could be tricky for slightly larger vehicles. maybe mention.

Location, cosy feeling and everything that you could think of for a fun, comfortable stay! My boys particularly enjoyed the board games.

This was a fantastic house for a family vacation, close to everything in Alnwick and convenient for groceries, etc. Everything we needed was in the house, great decor, great showers, plenty of towels and linens, etc. We didn't have a car but it was only 5-7 minutes walk from the bus that took us to Alnmouth, Amble, Warkworth, etc. Just a 10 minute walk to the centre of town or the castle. The owner was helpful and accommodating, all in all highly recommend the Old Sweet Shop for anyone vacationing in Northumberland!

Great location, 1 parking space, pet friendly and loads of space. Really informative host, with a great welcome pack and clear instructions for departure day.
Couldn’t fault it, we did have a small issue with water pressure on the top floor, but we had been pre warned that the issue was being sorted so wasn’t an issue for us.

Lovely spacious house with plenty of room
for us all to enjoy time together. Kids had their own room and lovely to have a selection of ‘new’ toys to keep them entertained!
Shower upstairs didn’t work but we were informed before hand which was great.

location was great for town, beds extremely comfortable, well equipped house overall and lovely little touches. photos don’t do it justice, our whole group loved it!
