Overall we loved our stay at the beach house. We loved all the included beach gear like chairs and umbrellas as well as the sand toys. There was an abundance of towels for beach and pool and easy clean off with the outdoor shower and hoses on each deck level. Inside we loved the abundance of coffee options and a fully equipped kitchen for grilling and cooking. The house is an easy walk to get coffee, eat out or go to an arcade. Things we didn't love were hard beds with too soft of pillows, rusty beach wagon and rusty/partially broken grill, and a musty odor in random parts of the home which is probably due to being a beach house but still impacted our allergies/sensitivities. Brian was great to communicate with and was really responsive which we appreciated!

Location, location, location! Doesn't get much better than this. We have stayed in other places in the OBX but this house, by far, is our favorite. Everything you could possibly need is here. Plenty of room to spread out. The elevator was a godsend for bringing in groceries. The pool was wonderful. And the views are amazing. We'd definitely come here again. Rent it, you won't be sorry. But beware, your week here will fly by!

An exceptionally well-equipped, well cared for, and well-managed home—plenty of parking space but also close enough to walk to restaurants. Beach is wide and the porches allow you to watch what's happening from the home. Early in the season the pool will need to be heated. Two washers and dryers made life easier for dealing with children and towels. Overall, one of the best homes we have stayed in 5 decades of beach visits.

Our family rented this location because is was on the beach, looked spacious, and had an elevator for our 85 year old mother. The house was clean and very well stocked! It was bright inside and the views over the ocean and beach were perfect! We used the hot tub, bikes, pool, and beach chairs. There was lots of room for us to spread out with the upstairs living room and game room downstairs. Brian (our host) was a great communicator and very responsive to questions.

The house was exactly as described and depicted, the owner was extremely attentive to our needs and welcomed feedback about the property and our stay. We had a great time and will be back again at some point to enjoy the house and the views!

Incredible views and great location close to pier. Family enjoyed the beach, pool, and hot tub. The amenities were top notch and the coffee bar was heaven.

The property is beautiful and fully equipped to make your stay there one to remember. We had a great time with kids and grandkids. The elevator was great to move things and especially our special needs granddaughter. We loved it.

Our week stay was so incredible that it’s hard to put into words! We’ve never stayed in a house so close to the ocean! Amazing! Everything about the property was a dream. We have not traveled due to the pandemic and were looking for something extremely clean, new, and contactless. This property totally exceeded our expectations! Brian was so great with helping coordinate everything- He was always available during the booking process and throughout our stay if we had any questions at all. Remote/contactless entry, everything spotless, new, clean! The layout of the house is perfect. High end all the way- furnishings, amenities, brand new appliances and even laundry! Tastefully decorated, simple elegance- Crisp white linens and towels, new furniture and bedding, gourmet everything in the kitchen including All Clad! We cooked every meal there and had everything we needed! Something I especially loved was that the spa bath and household products were eco-friendly and cruelty free including the hand soaps! The location is incredible. It’s literally like having the ocean in your front yard! We spent everyday watching the waves and collecting beautiful seashells! It was just so calm and peaceful. The pool was lovely and we opted to have it heated so we could enjoy it even though the weather was cooler. We literally are already planning when we can go back. We have nothing but great things to say about this property and Brian. I’m so glad we chose Wave House for our stay in Rodanthe! You will not be disappointed if you do! Thanks Brian for helping to make our special getaway a memorable one!!!

We needed a getaway after a rough year and found this amazing home last minute! Couldn’t of asked for a better spot in the Outer Banks. Much less crowded and quieter than the northern busier beaches. We didn’t venture out much- just wanted to unwind and relax. We loved this beautifully decorated house, and the coffee bar was an extra treat, how nice! We had our own beach right out front, loved the wrap around decks. Our girls loved the pool! We had ocean views everywhere from the house! This was the perfect place to unwind- we watched the dolphins just about every morning, relaxed on the beach, went crabbing at night. Soaked in the pool with the whole family and watched the sunsets, which were spectacular by the way. Waterman’s restaurant was awesome just a few minutes away and was a good dinner recommend for us. This was just the kind of trip we needed. Thank you Brian!
