Ocean view, private concerts from the VFW Nice space to hang out and comfortable Bed rooms.

The location was great. No AC, so windows open and fans on. That was only a bit of an issue when there was an outdoor live band playing at the VFW directly next door. We had an issue with the shower leaking into the living room. I called and they asked me to stay at the property and wait for maintenance. I explained I wouldn't do that as there was no ETA and I was on vacation. I said I would stay close and waited for a call that never came. Meanwhile we were asked not to use that bathroom...the only one with a shower. I called twice the next day, both times they said to expect a call....no call. We couldn't shower the last 3 days we were there. I'm confident this was a minor issue that could've been very easily fixed (I work in home remodeling), but they simply neglected to show up. The property was great and in a great location, but neglecting tenants and leaving them with the inability to shower is inexcusable.

Easy walk to the beach and restaurants

My mother, brother, sister and niece flew in from out of town and we took a quick trip to Imperial beach. Happened to find this rare gem and loved it. It was very spacious and well maintained. A short walk to the beach. But beware the beach is contaminated. But still nice views. I would definitely recommend this place.

It’s also only 10-12 minutes from Coronado Island and 25 minutes from downtown, gas lamp quarters and 30 minutes from La Jolla. I would definitely go back!

I stayed here 3 years ago in another unit with my sister and nephew so I knew the area. It was perfect for my husband and I too. Loved the covered garage parking, multiple beds and baths, lots of towels. Could have used some other pillows-theirs were not great but that’s legitimately my only “complaint”. Loved our time. Not far from Coronado Island and really not unreasonably far from the GasLamp district/downtown. Perfect place to stay imo

Stayed for two nights had a great time in imperial Beach. Easy walk down to the water had a great time surfing by the pier. Unit was clean and comfortable and as advertised. Appreciate the use of the bicycles that were in the garage as well. I would recommend this unit and stay here again if back in town

Just a fantastic location and property. Well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Was there for a retirement celebration with a friend and will be bringing the family back to take advantage of the beach, bikes and surfboards!!

The reason we are giving this such a mediocre rating is as follows. We have been to imperial before and the location from the condo to the beach was good. You are 2 blocks to the beach and easy walking access to shops and restaurants, as well as an easy 7 minute drive to Coronado. The condo itself was in nice condition and accommodating as far as furniture goes and a tv in each room. There was plenty of towels and It was relatively clean however their were a few spots that could have been cleaned a bit better. Overall we were pretty comfortable with the environment. The big problem was that this condo was right next door to the VFW which was loud every single night, with partying and people out side the window being loud and obnoxious, music, cursing, yelling etc every night well into the early morning hours. This was not disclosed to us at all. When we inquired it took a full 24 hours for a reply to tell us basically deal with it that they couldn’t do anything for us. We were on a vacation we worked hard to make happen for rest and relaxation, we did not get any real sleep while we were there. We were upset that this was not disclosed in describing the property. The area also had a lot of homeless around. We saw a man peeing outside our window about 3 am, I saw another guy smoking pot about 10 am outside the window. The saving grace is this has 3 levels the garage being the ground level so we did feel safe as far as anyone coming into the unit easily and to be fair no one walking around, homeless or from the BFW really seemed to car about the building itself. Aside from the VFW, every night there was loud traffic constantly on the street, and one night guys racing motorcycles well past 1 am. The noise would not die down till about 2 am or later. This was less that satisfying. A side note, we were told how to throw trash out but the instructions were incorrect as well as the day for pick up. We got lucky and caught the trash guy the day were we’re leaving or we would not have been able to throw it out. So on a whole, if you don’t care about all the noise and rift raft currently going on this could be a good location for you, but if you really want rest and relaxation and you care about the exposure that your kids are getting around them this may not be the best choice. We will not stay at this exact location again.

Our trip was amazing! Literally a 3 minute walk to the beach! They had plenty of things for us to use, beach chairs, bodyboarders and surf boards. within walking distance for many different eatery’s, convenience stores and the beach! We had a blast!!!

We loved the property and location. The ocean breeze coming in through the windows was awesome. We could hear the ocean waves at night. This is not the place if you are a light sleeper. The VFW had a band and a crowd on the weekend that we loved but it was loud. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was easy to access and we were able park our extended cab truck in the garage. It was clean and comfortable and just a block from the beach. We could hear the waves from inside the bedrooms with the windows open. The only downside is we had to leave the windows open since it doesn't have A/C and there was alot of noise outside from the VFW next door and traffic on the street.
