Everything was first class. The house itself feels brand-spanking new, even though we realize it has been there for more than a year. It is beautifully decorated and tastefully appointed throughout. All the appliances are the most modern version -- creating a challenge for us, since we had to learn how to operate some of them (we did!). The furniture is quite comfortable. Although we spent most of our 4 days out of the house, visiting nearby attractions and relatives from Mars Hill, it was great to come home to this beautiful house. We wish we could have brought our little beagle, who would also have loved it; but she hates to ride, so we left her at home. Our only problem was the dual heating system; we were unable to get the upstairs thermostat to respond, even though we tried to follow the directions. We solved that problem (it was too hot, even on those January nights) finally by turning on the ceiling fan, opening a window, and turning the downstairs thermostat down. Other than that, the house was perfect, and we would love to stay there again.

This was a beautiful property, just perfect for us. Clean, well equipped and very functional.
Location was fantastic, ideal for visiting major attractions in the Asheville area while being in a cute neighborhood with coffee shops, restaurants and shopping nearby. Great to be able to park right outside and the outdoor space at the back of the property was ideal.
Communication with Geri was timely and accurate. Would love to return in the future.

Absolutely perfect place for a lovely weekend in Weaverville. Walking distance to so many places to explore. Beautiful separate small home. Hosts thought of everything, it’s all in the details. The home feels so cozy. The deck is delightful. We hope to venture back to Weaverville maybe next time with our dog. Loved this home. Thank you for sharing such a special place.

We spent a few days in the cottage that has all the amenities! This was our 25th anniversary!! Restaurants and shops were within walking distance and Asheville was a short drive away.

Where to begin? This vacation rental was so awesome! It was definitely the nicest vacation rental that we have ever stayed at. The entire quest house was well maintained, tastefully decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and HVAC unit mounted above the bed kept the upstairs bedroom very cool and comfortable even with the HOT temperatures outside. The kitchen was well equipped and had the sharpest cutlery we have ever used. The outdoor porch was a great place to relax with dogs and enjoy the breeze and/or ceiling fan. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood and located only a couple of blocks from the downtown area with its many local breweries and restaurants. The house is also located within a half mile of Lake Louise Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our daily trips to the park to walk our dogs and enjoy this wonderful outdoor space.

Geri and Stuart have a fantastic cottage In a great town. If I could give more than five stars I would. The cottage itself is so well equipped and located a couple of blocks from downtown.

What a wonderful guest house! Perfect for my husband and I, with our little Toy Poodle. This property was immaculate and decorated so beautifully. The most comfortable bed in the bedroom. Geri and Stu were such gracious hosts. Just a 5 minute walk into town. The best location in Weaverville. Thank you so very much for a fabulous stay!!!

Everything about our stay in this cottage was perfect. It was spotlessly clean and every detail was so well thought out. All of the furniture was so comfortable from the living room to the porch to the bed. It struck me how quiet it was even in the middle of a residential area. We spent a lot of time on the porch in the morning and evenings and enjoyed listing to the birds sing. The down town area was delightful and we ate at some of the best restaurants. We would definitely like to come here again.

Well maintained cozy place for a couple (and a small pet). Great eating places in the neighborhood. Quiet location but within an hour's drive to Roan Mountain (Applachian trail), Blue Ridge and Ashville downtown.
The property seems newly built and amenities/appliances are very good quality.

This is a lovely place in a great location. It is well appointed with a full kitchen and an inviting back deck. The bedroom and bathroom are soothing spaces and it's nice to have on-site laundry. We enjoyed the short walk to nearby restaurants, coffee and pubs. It's also very close to all that Asheville and the Blue Ridge mountains have to offer. We hope to return soon!

This cottage was the perfect place for a long weekend! The house was spotless and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and breweries. The decor of the house was cozy and inviting and the neighborhood consists of lovely homes with beautiful yards. A short drive from Asheville and only 20 minutes from the Biltmore Estate. Excellent place to stay!

We’ve had many wonderful rental experiences but I would say this was one of- and perhaps the best- experience due to how every criteria was perfectly met. Very accessible in location, charming neighborhood and community, ease of access to multiple destinations (hiking, Grove Park Inn etc). Interaction with host was very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and comfortable property. Highly recommended and would definitely return. Thank you Geri and Stu. :)

This property in Weaverville was beyond perfect for our vacation to the area! This is a newer property that is well maintained and clean. It was in great walking distance to the downtown Weaverville area and within 10-15 minutes of Downtown Asheville. I asked the host for ideas about short walks for my elderly dog and she provided great recommendations. She was kind enough to remind me that the bedroom is upstairs in case that would cause problems for him. Highly recommend and will return to this property if in the area again!

The guesthouse is absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed our time there. It is well built with high end construction. The decorations are beautiful and the ambiance is fantastic. Guests have everything they need. The host(s) are always available and very friendly. This house is a must if you want to stay in the heart of Weaverville, just a short distance to Lake Louise!

Beautiful 1 bedroom home built next door to owners equally lovely home in downtown Weaverville NC. Easy access to Asheville NC. I asked to check in a day early as I had to leave a day early. Owners were quick to accommodate. Every room was lovely. The decor was tasteful and furnishings were very comfortable. Nice deck on back of house. Very private. I will be back.

We loved our stay at Geri’s guesthouse! It was super clean, cozy & comfortable! We had a rental car and drove to Asheville to explore as well as surrounding areas to hike. We started our morning at Well-Bred right around the corner which was delicious. Weaverville was also super cute. We would love to come back again.
