Great little place just a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Great, full Welsh breakfast with plenty of cerials, yogurt and tea & coffee. We were allowed to leave our bikes in the garage overnight.

Dwy Olwyn is a fantastic family run B & B, the views from it is picturesque. We had a lovely time over there for our Easter Holiday. Its around 20 minutes drive to Barmouth beaches. 10 minutes walking to the town centre.

Single beds were big and comfortable.
Clean enough but not extremely clean.
The lady was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel like home

Husband slept in a bunk bed and was not very comfortable.( Main bed was very comfortable). WIFI kept dropping out. Probably because we were in outbuilding rather than main house. Found steep walk from where car was parked was awkward due to disability

Beautiful location with wonderful views. Very welcoming and helpful host . The breakfast was excellent.
The only improvement we can think of would be somewhere to put wet coats and boots. We got soaked and were worried about making a mess of the carpet. When our host found out, she offered to dry our things.

Room was fine and clean for what we needed it for. Host was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was nice. I left my electric toothbrush in the room and host offered to post it back to me, so massive thumbs up from me!
Not much I didn't like. The only small thing is that the view from from one side of the annex accommodation was blocked by a caravan which restricted some natural light from filtering through.

Norma was an excellent host who went above and beyond for us. Dwy Olwyn was the perfect location for us to explore the Mawddach Trail and Cadair Idris. We had a delicious full english breakfast with toast and preserves and she even packed us a lovely little lunch for our mountain hike. I couldn't praise Dwy Olwyn any more, it was a lovely stay and we hope to come back again! Our room was clean, well equipped, comfortable and had a great view over Dolgellau and the mountains.

Just up from the centre of town a nice place to stay, very helpful owners. Our room out looked onto the mountains which was a great view. Breakfast was great, everything you could ask for, we certainly left there with full stomachs as we carried on on cycling mini holiday.
Room was comfy, usual tea making facilities with tv. Very comfy beds led to a good nights sleep.
Yes I would definitely stay there again
