Everything about our stay was amazing!! Such a cute place with all the amenities and extra little touches throughout. Theona had lots of great recommendations and stayed in constant communication. Such a wonderful host and perfect location for the downtown area. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend!!

This was a perfect “home” for us during our visit to Edenton. The cottage is beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly have asked for. Theona was a great host and responded promptly to any questions we had and made great suggestions for things to see and do. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful decor, well furnished and spotless

As soon as we opened the door, we were all in Awe...It was the cutest little house decorated perfectly. All the amenities were perfect, and it made you feel that you were right at home. This is a 5 star place to stay while you are in Edenton, NC. You can't beat it. The owners are professional and kind. We absolutely loved it.

We much enjoyed our stay. The house is well-equipped, clean, cozy, with plenty of attention to details. The host was super communicative and helpful. If we ever head in this direction again, this property would be our first choice!

We absolutely loved our stay in Edenton. Theona's cottage is immaculate and so cozy. The town is fully walkable. We did dinner downtown and then walked to a collegiate league baseball game. What a wonderful, historical town! My son left an item after we checked out and Theona was immensely helpful in getting us back to the property to retrieve the item. Love this town - love this cottage!

This quaint cottage was fabulous. It was decorated exquisitely. The screened in porch was fabulous - we sat out there in the morning, afternoon and evening. The location was perfect to walk to shops, restaurants, and Vinyl Night. The host is very responsive. All the amenities you could want. Loved charming Edenton.

Beyond the gorgeous esthetics…the home feels so warm and lived in! My family loved staying here, from enjoying the best weather on the screened in porch to having the best time cooking in the kitchen. Don’t walk…RUN to stay at this home. You will not regret it!

Great place to vacation!! Special details perfectly express the love that was put into this cottage. Quiet dead end street, but within walking distance to the sound, great restaurants and the beautifully renovated downtown. We went for long walks by the water then stopped downtown for a quick bite to eat and did some shopping. The cottage has a wonderful front and back porch to relax and reflect your day. Can’t wait to go again 😀

The cottage is beautiful. Its located on a dead end street so it's very quiet at night. There is an enclosed porch that we sat out at night enjoying the warm weather. There is a front porch we sat on in the morning sipping our coffee and listening to the birds. Very rekaxing! Theona has thought of everything from hot cocoa, marshmallows and cinnamon sticks to cotton swabs and hair ties. We were here to celebrate our anniversary and Theona left us a card recognizing our reason for visiting. That was a special touch. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Town is within walking distance and we have found during our many visits to Edenton that the town is very welcoming. Thank you so much for everything!

I will have to say I was a little nervous when I first came up to the house, but when I entered it was a beautiful house inside and out. My family stays in Powellsville so the ride there was closer than I expected. It was enough room for me and 3 others. Beds were firm and good restaurants near by. I would stay there again if the home is available.

Four of us had the best long weekend at this property - it was the cutest house, and the owner had supplied everything we could need. We will be staying here again!

I've been visiting Edenton since I was a child because my grandparents live there. Now that I'm an adult, married with 2 kids, my family has outgrown being able to stay at my Nana's house. This was a great accomodation about 5 minutes from her house and right outside of historic Edenton. Beds are super comfortable. House is clean with everything you need in it. They have small touches that I was not expecting but appreciated and used some of them. Go ahead and book this house if you want a place to relax and kick up your feet after a long day of visiting family or the town.

Great communication, property, attention to details and extra touches not found at all VRBO's. This was certainly one of the cleanest and cute cottages we have stayed at. Located just minutes from historic downtown Edenton, this charming cottage will welcome you in from the moment you open the front door. The owners have created an immaculate and very nicely decorated space where you will feel instantly at home. The beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of room for all your belongings. The street is quiet and we slept undisturbed. If you like to cook, you can prepare a meal in this beautiful and completely updated kitchen. Just bring your ingredients in and get started. Enjoy your morning coffee or a cold drink on the screened back porch. This was a great place to start and end the day! Attention to detail is obvious and the owners have gone above and beyond providing little things like enough hangers in the closets; enough toilet paper and paper towels; shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and space in the bathroom to put away all your toiletries. Little surprises are also included and are nice thoughtful touches. Theona was wonderful to communicate with and responded quickly to any inquiries before and during our stay. We loved our time here and look forward to returning in the Spring!

Everything about this rental was fabulous. The location, the home and the town was amazing. The home was spotless and the furnishings and decor were top notch. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine on both porches. The screen porch was an added bonus and was comfortable and peaceful. We would love to visit beautiful Edenton again and definitely would book this home again.

This home was just perfect for us. The home was very lovely and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Best of all was the screened in back porch. It was so peaceful drinking my coffee there in the mornings and watching the rabbits play. Absolutely exceptional!!!!

This is a great cottage. Everything is new and first class. The owners were extremely helpful. The screened in back porch is very nice. We really enjoyed our week in Edenton. It is filled with history. We recommend the trolley tour. We found several "back roads" in the area for bicycle riding. We hope to return.
