A little oasis on a quaint street with stunning forest views. We loved our stay here! Listening to the birds & the frogs sing added to the ambiance. Just minutes from downtown Hilo. Our host was gracious, helpful & we enjoyed our stay at this lovely location!

Great escape into the jungle. We loved the sounds of the frogs and crickets. On clear nights, the stars were beautiful. Linens and towers were clean. The room was spacious and lots of areas for storage. We had a small hiccup during check-in but our host was quick to remedy the issue and reimbursed us for one night. Communication with the host was quick! We would love to stay again.

We loved this spot. We’ve looked at renting for years and hadn’t, but finally did, and it was a joy. The sounds of she jingle in the evening were great, and we had what we needed to enjoy the 3 days we were there.

Our hosts Hannah and Tanner were very welcoming and helpful. Giving us tips about where to go for hiking or having a nice diner. The studio is perfectly located to go to the beach or town center of Hilo. On top of that, you will have the rainforest right in front of your door. Communication was fast and easy-going. We would definitely visit again!

Hannah and Tanner were perfect hosts. Everything listed on VRBO was spot on. The atmosphere was zen-like and our room was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit this shangri-la on our next trip over to Hilo.

This was perfect for us. Just outside town in a beautiful foresty area, with a comfortable bed and amazing shower. The only concerns are about the frogs and the bathroom (unrelated, neither of which bothered us personally but are important to know). The bathroom has walls but the ceiling is open to the rest of the space and sounds are amplified. Not great to share the space with a casual acquaintance or business associate… Also the frogs at night are quite noisy, so if you’re a sensitive sleeper it would be better to have ear plugs. But Hannah was super responsive and helpful, we had a great stay!

The space was amazing, very modern finishes and clean. Hannah was very welcoming and helpful. Would highly HIGHLY recommend this space if you're staying in Hilo for any amount of time. Just note that the bathroom is open-air to the rest of the studio if you're staying with someone.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, but only minutes from Hilo beaches, restaurants, and shops. Communication with our hosts was excellent. Clean, comfortable accommodations with the rain forest in our backyard. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice accommodation in a secluded upscale neighborhood surrounded by jungle like setting. Private, peaceful and beautiful views of heavily vegetated valley. Wonderful hosts.

Perfect place to stay. Very comfortable bed, nice little coach and even free laundry machines right around the corner of our building. Great communication from the host.
We did buy our breakfast food and having the toaster was great but a little tight on space limits spreading our and few shelves for extras. Beautiful decorating and everything seemed very new. Glad we stayed there.

We loved staying in this little bungalow in the jungle! It seems very recently built or renovated, and the property was spotless. It was a quick commute into the “downtown” of Hilo. Easy to find and excellent communication from owner Hannah. The only thing I could see someone wanting to know is that there is no separate ceiling for the bathroom (ie, minimal barrier from sounds, smells, etc inside the restroom) which could make for some awkward situations.
That said, there was ready access to everything we needed, including extra linens and small appliances. Free Wi-Fi and parking. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
