Opted for breakfast and dinner, paid 750 per person extra. Another family had not opted and they paid cash Rs250 for breakfast and Rs350 for dinner. So by booking advance I paid Rs150more. Food was not worth for amount that we paid, we could had drive near market and had there. One evening we asked for coffee and they gave instant coffee, completely tasteless. Being a place where coffee is grown, it need far better quality. Again cost of coffee is somewhere Rs80, does not worth even Rs1.

location & ambience near Restaurant was good
We went with my one year old kid & room wasn’t clean at all .. We booked classic suite in booking.com & resort manager joshua contacted us for confirmation & ensured like they will provide room heater or they will swap us to premium suite with fire place with extra charges. we agreed for the same since we have a kid we wanted it badly for the cold but during our check-in we weren’t given premium suite & asked extra charges for room heater in our classic suite which we booked .. it was really shocking why they didn’t inform us earlier about the un availability of premium suite or room heater charges .. Such a money minded resort we paid extra 1200 for room heater alone for 2 days

yet to have a mini pantry on-site. otherwise the dining at holiday home resort down the hill was a bit troublesome due to rain.

beautiful location near town of kodaikanal , amidst great nature , has an old world atmosphere , very comfy ,
so good to have a fireplace in the room that gives warmth on a cool evening

The cottages were clean and comfortable. The manager, Mr. Benjamin was very helpful.
The support staff do not understand or pretend not to understand any language other than Tamil. Being in such a tourist destination, you expect them to understand atleast English.

Calm neat and clean rooms. Fire Place is nice.
Food court is 5 minutes walk away. In December it can be very cold outside.

Facilities pictures shown on your platform from outside. Inside, there are plenty of improvement areas. Food was decent, but you have to walk or drive 200 meters to eat it.
Plenty of things:
1. The geyser was not working properly.
2. Staff was not responsive on the Helpline. Very often you call the number and nobody picks up.
3. You have to walk or drive 200 meters to eat Breakfast or Dinner. Due to cold weather and dark streets - Dinner can be only eaten by driving to a place where the entry/exit gate is very narrow.
4. Restaurant staff would barely listen to your request. You have to take things on your own.
5. They charge for extra adults royally but not ready to provide a single pillow.
6. Extra towels requested never came on time. Once, they asked us to adjust because there were no towels present.
7. All charges were billed at the time of check-in but service was not up to the mark.
8. This hotel is run by a Christian missionaries, who keep Bible copies translated in various Indian languages not just at their reception but also in the Guest room. Not sure what their real agenda was? Providing best value for money service to customers or systematically promote Religious demographic changes in this country? In spite of complaining, Bible copies were not removed from my guest room.
