Beautiful lake view , enjoy fishing, indoor pool, and hot tub . kids enjoy the basketball court and pool. Will definitely book again for the summer of 2024. very clean and homey.

Very beautiful place to stay

We had a fabulous family get together. The views are even better than the pictures. Gorgeous fall colors. The entire house was comfortable and everyone, grandparents down to kiddos, had a wonderful time. The only hiccup was we lost power for about 13 hours, which was strange because it was a beautiful day with no weather. This wasn't just our unit - it impacted many units throughout the complex. This could have happened to anyone, however, and doesn't necessarily impact the house.
My only feedback for the hosts is that it took a while for us to get a hold of them several times throughout the day to get updates about the outage and to ask about candles, flashlights, etc. We found many flashlights in the house but only a few of them had working batteries and we only found one candle.
Overall, we really had a wonderful time and we really can't fault the hosts for losing power as it wasn't specific to this location. It's beautiful and we made many memories there. If there had been more quick communication during the outage, however, we would have felt more comfortable with less uncertainty about what was going on, and it would have been nice to have a stash of candles, flashlights (with working batteries), etc for emergencies.

We love the location of this property. Well maintained and tastefully decorated the house was very enjoyable. The small sandy beach is perfect for infants. The fish are constantly teasing by jumping in the water. But they are rarely caught!

We loved our vacation. Our bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was complete with all necessary pots and pans. The beach in front of the condo was muddy and rocky and difficult to get to with no clear path. We enjoyed the pool, the beach and miniature golf at Rumbling Bald resort. Our visit was very relaxing.

My entire family, which consisted of my husband and myself, two sons, two daughters in law, and grandchildren including an infant totally enjoyed our stay. Anne was very responsive to some minor problems that we had. The proximity to the lake and the resort made everything so accessible.

Our family of 11 spent one week here. The house was so clean, had plenty of room for everyone ranging from 2.5 - 73. The resort had lots to offer, the lake was beautiful and peaceful. The property manager was responsive, and everything was as described.

Condo was clean and on the lake with a lot of room for 2 to 3 families with many views of the lake and mountains. There is 4 levels one level is large space where everyone can be together and have their privacy. My grandchildren loved playing in the condo and running up and down the steps. They also enjoyed being away from the adults and playing games in the game room . You can fish and swim right on the property. My grandson caught a bass. The house is 4 levels, so lots of steps. Really enjoyed the Chicken soup for the soul and Uncle John’s books in the bathroom. You can walk to the resort’s beach area with the indoor pool, hot tub , mini golf , basket ball , restaurants , etc… if you wanted to. It rained or was cloudy the whole time we were there. Would have been better if we would have had one sunny day. The views and large condo was even better when you have to stay inside because of the weather. We did see chimney rock, the hickory nut water falls, the flowering bridge and went on a lake boat tour. Really enjoyed all that we saw. Also ate at Victory Kitchen and Hard Rock Cafe. Both were good.

Very well appointed home with rare combination of gathering space and sanctuary spaces in this very large condo. Great views, easy access to resort amenities, and easy drives to hiking and mountain features. Definitely would stay again.

We had a really good stay at this beautiful property. It's well maintained and spacious for a group of 10. Because of the rains , we couldn't enjoy some of the facilities in the resort but everything else was smooth. Fall color views were really nice from this property!

There were 12 of us ladies and we had plenty of space. The views of the lake and mountains were beautiful! We had a great time!! Anne was awesome to work with.

This was a really nice property for us. We attended a family wedding in the neighborhood. There was a window in the great room that had been broken and would not close fully, the weather was so nice it wasn’t an issue. The downstairs was pretty musty however at the end of the day we didn’t need the bed space. Little more outdoor lighting would have been good.
Again nice property and it’s very well appointed especially the kitchen.

We had such a wonderful weekend in this cozy condo, the view is beautiful of the lake and mountains from the condo, and there was so much room for the 8 of us! The resort area has so many fun activities for families, so we would definitely come back to this condo again!

This house was just what we needed. Lots of room for people to sleep and a great living room to hang out with a large table for eating and spending time together. It's a short distance to the beach and pool but you will most likely want to drive to get there.

This condo was perfect for our three families, with children from ages 6 - 14. We had ample space and it was just steps away from the beautiful lake. The resort amenities were also a huge plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This home is a fantastic find. We had 12 people on out vacation. 3 families if you will. US and Kids with Kids. Everyone could be together easily. Families felt like they had their own space as well. The amenities were great. Lake Lure is a great lake to swim in. The kids swam in the lake at the Condo as well as the beach area. Teh pool and lazy river is fun when anyone want to get out of the lake, it was easy when some want the lake or some want the pools. Fishing from the bank was a big hit. It was easy to watch from any one of the 3 balconies. The kitchen was well supplied. We cook all our meals at the house.

We enjoyed our stay at Anne's condo this past week. It is conveniently located right on the lake and close to all the amenities of Rumbling Bald. The condo is spacious (four floors!) and is well-equipped. Communication with Anne was always easy. Unexpectedly a delicious watermelon was delivered while we were there -- just another nice happening!

This Venue Could Be Fantastic and worth the price point.
All-in-all we were very satisfied with the venue and isolation. Our issues are really quite simple fixes. All the exterior surfaces were very dirty including the decking walkway and stairs on the outside of the home. I had purchased some hose end window wash but the hose did not operate that they had and it was only 8 feet long, so I could not pay it forward. ;-) I would have cleaned the decking, steps and windows for them. They had a grill but it was inoperable which really caused the interior of the house to heat up when an hour worth of cooking was taking place. No burgers, chicken or dogs on the grill for the kids nor steaks for us. A bad experience in these cases as there is nothing really close by for 10 of us to eat together. The Lake was good, the amenities there appear to also be somewhat neglected and the high school food service choices were wholly inadequate within the resort.
On the GREAT side, the interior amenities were EXCELLENT. The beds were clean and comfortable and we all slept Very Well. The golf course was in great shape. The staff were awesome.
