We booked this property for a work retreat. Our executive team spent the weak team building. The house was spacious and clean. It had all the amenities we needed. The pool and spa were great and the view was a nice bonus. I would recommend staying here. We will be back!

For the rental price of this home, so many things were unaccommodating or outdated & even dangerous to recommend it to anyone. Check in process was ok, after about 4/5 tries…locking the door was also difficult, where at one point it didn’t lock at all and had to call someone to lock it as we’d headed out for the day with our belongings inside at risk. A list: Shower head in master bath was about 5ft high and oddly large and very awkward. -Towels, linens & sleep pillows (and flattened) were at a bare minimum: - No bath mat or rug -One bath towel per adult in the master along with a single hand towel and single washcloth. -Missing towel rack in the bathroom. -Used the provided air mattress but no pillow or sheets were available, had to call. -Master BR drapes did not keep out light AT ALL, didnt cover the entirety of glass. -broken kitchen utensils - an inexpensive flimsy mini 5-cup coffee maker -no kitchen towels, placemats, tablecloth (obviously they’re not into doing much laundry after guests leave, supported by the Listing Note to bring your own beach/pool towels) -Grill wasn't fully clean, had food on it. -Patio chairs rusting out; one of the children stepped on a piece of rusted metal from the frame of the old chair! Luckily it came out. -Had to sweep around pool upon arrival, as there were stones and rough pebbles surrounding -neighbors yelling at kids at 5pm to “shut up” -Cobwebs, no cleaning products/kitchen towels. so disappointing

Overall a very nice stay! Great for the kiddos; the weather was cold so the pool was pretty cold for the kiddos but would definitely stay again and try to come back when the weather is better. The location was nice about 30 minutes from the places we wanted to go! We will definitely come back! Also, great communication with the homeowners!

We came to town for our son's graduation and some of our family joined us at the house for an afternoon pool party. The house is terrific, it had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub were definitely a hit. Highly recommend this place!

We had a very good experience at this place. It has a beautiful view from the backyard. The house is equipped with everything you would need during your stay. Communication with the property manager was flawless and fast.

We were all blown away with the beauty this property holds in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Close enough to Uber to down town San Diego, and the property is close to restaurants and all other amenities you could want/ need. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone!

My family and I loved staying here! We had planned a few things to do in San Diego and we didn’t do a lot because my daughter and I LOVED the pool! And we all enjoyed the jacuzzi. It was worth paying for the pool to be heated. The mornings outside with my coffee was relaxing. The manager was quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommend.

The house was beautiful and met our needs. The kids loved the hot tub and pool. Nice quiet neighborhood.

We loved it. Pool is great. The place is exceptionally clean and well located between the Safari Park and other attractions down in San Diego. Only negative is the pool/hot tub fees and no laundry service - so heads up on that. That said, would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful place to enjoy time together in the San Diego area! We enjoyed the spacious home with beautiful views and the use of the pool and jacuzzi. Communication with the owners was excellent. We hope to return.

We stayed in the house for two weeks. The location was great, the house and furnishings were charming and the pool/hot tub got used every day. The home and yard were very private, the property manager was very responsive and should we return to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Based on other reviews, this seemed like a great option for my friends and I to meet up with our young kids in San Diego. Unfortunately, we had a very challenging start to our trip and a few BIG concerns. I was not sent the code to access the house ahead of time. I thought, "well, maybe the host doesn't send it until the day of." So I waited. When I didn't hear anything, I messaged first thing in the morning before leaving on our flight. Our itinerary had us arriving at the property around 9pm. I never heard anything all day. I thought, "surely, I'll hear something by the time my flight lands." Nothing. I took my chances and just drove from the airport to the property, where I discovered an empty house with no lights on. It was totally dark. I was solo with my two young very overtired kids with me. If you have kids, you know that this is a really stressful situation to be in. The house did have a video doorbell so I rang it hoping to get in touch with the host that way, but unfortunately they didn't respond there either. At this point I was a thousand miles from home, late at night, with nowhere to stay. I called VRBO customer service and after about an hour of chasing my kids in the dark on a strange neighborhood street, they managed to get in touch with the host, who provided a code to get into the house. After getting settled in I messaged the host to express my disappointment with the situation, and they responded by claiming that they had provided an entry code as soon as they were contacted. Not only is that untrue, but the host should be proactive in providing access information - I shouldn't have to spend a bunch of time tracking them down just to figure out how to get into the property. The check in process was a giant mess. Then we got in the house. The listing says it sleeps 8. We had 2 adults and 4 kids and it barely worked. They have air mattresses but no extra blankets or linens. Some of the blankets on the beds were more throw sized and didn't work for 2 people, comfortably. The other MAJOR concern is that the sliding doors open up straight to the un-fenced pool. There are no child safe locks or handles up high to prevent little kids from just opening the door and having access to the pool. It was very scary to sleep in there with a 3 year old, knowing he could wake up without me knowing and get out to the pool. I had to barricade the doors and make makeshift "alarms" so I would hear him if he did decide to explore. I would not recommend this house to anyone without some major changes and I will definitely not be staying here again.

Overall our stay was very positive. Loved the neighborhood. Found people to be very friendly. House was comfortable with some nice upgrades particularly in the kitchen. The listing says NO washer/dryer, but I didn't read it carefully when booking and was surprised to not have laundry access on site. Additionally there was no garage parking so cars had to sit outside. But otherwise, would stay here again if the price was right.

We love the hot tub and heated pool. We used for most of our stay. The code for front door was use to use and easy access. I love how organized the house was and labeled for everything makes easy for to find things.

This home was a perfect place for our family to gather. The house is very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and relaxing outside with the beautiful view. The hosts were very helpful and responded to any questions promptly. We will definitely return.

House suited our needs well. Quiet neighbourhood and the owners were always quick to respond to any questions we had. House was clean and kept well. The one minor mechanical issue (leaking tub faucet) was clearly documented in the house information book and already scheduled for repair. Would stay again.

The house was amazing, as was the pool area! Truly had one of my best stays ever! Well stocked, clean, the set up was great… couldn’t have been a more perfect stay!

Overall, the visit was good. However, some yard maintenance guys came by unannounced and the pool became dirty as a result.

The property was fun and checked all the boxes- near to beaches and attractions, fun outdoor space with pool and jacuzzi, and lovely indoor space with TVs, games and cozy bedrooms. The property manager was super helpful and kind and assisted with any questions we had. Would 100% recommend!

This is the best vrbo we’ve ever stayed in. The property was clean and fit our family of 5 perfectly. Outdoor space was the icing on the cake. Would’ve loved a rice cooker since our family is not huge on fast food but that wasn’t a deal breaker as were able to use on of the many pots. We will definitely be back!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We found it to be convenient to the freeway for all our San Diego needs, (Coronado Island, North County, Downtown). The thoughtful layout of the house encouraged meaningful family interactions and provided privacy for all. We loved the view, pool and hot tub. We especially appreciate the personal touches like labeling the cabinets where we found everything we needed. This house was a hit with our family and would happily come back again!

Absolutely wonderful home!! Great location and the house set up is great! The kids had so much fun in the pool and the entertainment den upstairs. Communication with the host was so easy and so prompt to get any all questions answered. My nephews asked if we can stay at this house every year when they come to visit! We will definitely be back and have already recommended to my friends. They even had blown up floaties already for the pool and set up an extra air mattress for us. Awesome stay and can’t wait to be back!!

The house was exactly as listed! The owner was so quick to answer any questions or concerns! The backyard was great for the kids with a beautiful view! Very comfortable for my family and I. We had an amanzing time!

The pool/hot tub was wonderful and the property manager was extremely helpful and responsive which are the biggest draws to this property! Check in and check out was a simple process. Main reason I cannot give this review 5 stars is that several things need updating from a functional and not just aesthetics perspective including the showers and patio furniture.

Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood, perfect for any family vacation. Not too far of a drive from most attractions in San Diego, and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

Super covenient location. Close to beaches, parks and friends. This property has it all.
