This property is wonderful! Clean, comfortably furnished, amazing view, and very helpful owners. The kitchen is set up with cooks in mind which for us is perfect. Easy access to great seafood market and grocery. Highly recomend!

Absolutely gorgeous place with a gorgeous view. Hosts thought of everything, even had a 5 port phone charger and a place to stands the phones on their sides for easy access. We will definitely be going back for another stay.

This was the cleanest house, best stocked home, with the most amazing views. The pictures are beautiful but even better in real life. There is a sense of calm when you walk in the door. The decor is on point, and has everything you could need.
The manager was so helpful for our stay!! She promptly responded to any question we might of had, and diligently worked out any issue.
You will not regret booking this little slice of paradise

Beautiful home. Attentive host. Great weather. All of the previous reviews were spot on. This home was super clean, well-prepared and just like home for us. We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated Angela's attention to detail. We enjoyed the views, the waterfowl, the kayaking and the beach. Hoping to return!

This property has EVERYTHING you could want in a rental. Beautiful views of the intracoastal, short walk to beach. The house itself is fabulous (i want their interior designer!) With every conceivable amenity - kayaks, paddleboard blankets to cozy up on the amazing couch- I cant begin to list all the thoughtful touches that make the place stand out from others.

It’s was a beautiful property with amazing sounds views. The house was beautiful and had everything you could need/supplied for you. We felt right at home. It was so peaceful and quiet !

We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts could not be more friendlier! They were extremely helpful and keep just about anything you would ever need in the house and then some. It’s was definitely above what we expected. I can’t recommend this place enough. Our family really enjoyed crabbing, kayaking, and the beach. Will certainly book again in the future without hesitation.

We had a wonderful vacation with our 2 grown sons in this beautiful, comfy, well-stocked home. We ate all of our meals at the house to enjoy the view and sunsets! There is everything you need to relax on and off the beach, cook wonderful meals, catch crabs off the dock, kayak and more. The owners also go above and beyond to make sure your vacation is the best! We highly recommend this 5-Star VRBO!

I cannot say enough about HappyOurs! We had a wonderful, relaxing week. The weather was amazing and the views from the deck were even more! This is hands down the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. The host even provided coffee pods, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, s’mores and more. I have to say her plants around each corner were not only beautiful, but made you feel like you were home! We will definitely be back for another visit!

Our stay at Happy Ours was wonderful.,the house is newly remodeled, has 4 bedrooms and one little space outside master bedroom that can sleep two if needed. Furnishings, bedding, are all lovely. Very spacious. The views from back deck of inter coastal were breathtaking. The owners supplied many amenities to make life simpler as coffee, creamer, paper plates and cups, etc. Had a wonderful week.

Amazing views! Amazing property! Amazing location! We loved staying at this beautifully decorated home overlooking the intercoastal waterway! I can’t say enough good things about Happy Ours. The views are just breathtaking. The home is decorated so lovely, the beds are comfortable, the added touches like bathroom products and extra washed blankets to use just made things even more wonderful. We loved that we could enjoy the beach or stay at the house and fish, kayak, and/or paddle board. Thank you for everything!

They have thought of everything to help make you feel the comforts of home.
The linens, beds, cleaning supplies, coffee bar, throw blankets, shampoo/conditioner, hand soaps, paddle board, kayaks, beach chairs, beach toys, crab cages/nets, toy box for dogs, supplies to makes s’mores and popcorn buckets with popcorn provided, and timed battery operated candles that turn on of an evening- everything was perfect!
We especially loved the large windows that provided amazing views and natural light. The large deck off of the main living is spectacular and is where we spent a lot of time together. The heated outdoor shower and 2 swings outside the bedrooms on the bottom level was an added bonus.
The location of this property allows you to enjoy the sound and ocean and the beach was a short walk down and across the street.
I can’t recommend this property enough and if you book it, I promise you will not be disappointed!!

Cozy beds with European duvets, great pillows, and wonderfully soft sheets! Good quality towels, luxury body wash, hand wash, shampoo and conditioner in every bath.
They have everything you need to start your trip- from paper towels to spices! Even a basket with makings for s’mores - which made for a fun night on the back deck, watching the sunset, and roasting marshmallows on the gas firepit cocktail table! There is also a large, good quality gas grill on the main deck.
Stunning views! Kayaks and paddle boards, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, beach towels, laundry detergent! EVERYTHING!!
The Sound is right off the back yard. Small walk to beach. They have beach carts to make it easy to take everything for the day.
Quiet neighbors.

This is a beautifully updated and decorated home that wonderfully accommodated 6 adults and 1 spoiled dog. The house has everything you could need, from the kitchen with lots of pots/pans/dishes to the very comfortable beds and linens. The water views on the back deck are amazing. Tons of seating inside this home for dining and also for outside with beach chairs, carts, umbrellas and towels. Very short walk to the beach- 5 minutes. We recommend this home with no reservations and hope to be back!

I cannot overstate how much I loved staying at Happy Ours! It was the ultimate retreat for my family. Plenty of space, beautifully decorated and all the thoughtful touches. Location could not be beat, the beds and linens were super comfy. My highest accolades go to the view and amazing deck. Plus if you love to paddle board or kayak this is the place to stay. Even the family pooch gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This home is exceptional! Quiet location looking out to the intercoastal waterway offering the most incredible sunsets. There is abundant light from the many windows, the house is very clean, kitchen stocked as if it was a primary residence, the most comfortable beds and linen, and little touches to make you feel at home. The open living space with giant sectional, coffee station, and selection of games perfectly accommodated our family. Angela is a host extraordinaire who so thoughtfully and graciously exceeded our expectations for our special weekend and we take with us lasting memories and hopes to return soon!!

There’s really no words to describe “Happy Ours”. Everything about it was absolute perfection. Angela left no stone or rather “shell” unturned. Every amenity was there. The sunsets were phenomenal & the daily dolphin show at the beach was spectacular. “Happy Ours” is the best kept secret at North Topsail Beach. ❤️ We have borrowed many beach homes over the years &, we all agreed, it doesn’t get better than “Happy Ours!”

I can't say enough about the owners, they were the best I've ever rented from, and there have been many!! I recommend this property highest of the high. Myself, partner, parents and my adult children enjoyed this beautiful home for a week. Everything was comfortable and inviting. The pictures do not do it justice from the inside to the sunsets. The Angela and Jason are wonderful to communicate with and always responsive. Angela even went the extra mile and provided snoring ear plugs for me and a sun shade for my parents. Our family needed this multi-generational time together. The table is perfect for morning coffee and views and evening games and laughter. All of the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. My son and daughter-in-law now want to find the same couch for their home. We will definitely return.

What a TREAT! We have stayed in many short-term rentals, and this one BY FAR, exceeded all expectations and was our favorite. So many amenities. Too many to name. FULLY stocked kitchen. Beach toys. TVs in every room. Comfy beds. Nice sheets. SPECTACULAR VIEW!!!!! THE PATIO!! The pull-in covered car area. The outdoor storage. Real plants everywhere. Great guide to the area. Again, so many amenities. A short car trip to the public beach access. Could use a ceiling fan in the master bedroom but literally that would just be a nice touch-not a necessity. BRAVO to owners. This place is 5*!

Happy Ours is a beautifully appointed home with amazing views. The hosts are very gracious and offer many suggestions for places to dine, see, and shop. To start, we have stayed in many vacation rental homes and have been fortunate to have mostly good-great experiences. This vacation home exceeded ALL of our expectations! The home is beautiful! Our first night we experienced a sunset that even stopped the kiddos in their tracks. Saying the home is well equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation us an understatement. The property owner has thought of just about everything! Angela was beyond helpful and an extremely gracious host. You will not regret booking this exceptional home…our family will definitely be back!

beach supplies, kitchen necessities and non-necessities! Stunning views of the sound, which we enjoyed while lounging on the gorgeous deck with comfy chairs. Such generous and helpful hosts - our teens started talking about coming back before we had left the island.. Thanks for having us!
