Service was great at the front desk, rooms were clean but a little bit dusty, carpets by the hallways are too old needs upgraded! Over all our experience was great!

Ordered food by the pool and it took over an hour to get it. Pool and pool area was dirty, not enough chairs at the pool people were sharing chairs and even sitting on the ground. Bathtub/shower was dirty. Called for room service multiple times and no one answered until the 7th or 8th time. Shower was out of conditioner and body lotion and I tried calling front desk and housekeeping multiple times and no answer. Bed and room were very clean and comfortable. AC was great.

Double tree in Cathedral City has been our regular destination stay for the past 8 years. We love the pool, location and comfort of stay. However this year we are noticing a decline in upkeep. The patio furniture outside or room was worn and torn. We had to call for service to help us in lighting and later turning off our firepit. The pool area was very dirty and one of the hot tubs never got even close to warm. The small fridge in our room wasnt very cold and the bedding comforter was thinning. We still love this place but hope attention can be put into maintaining and environment thats worth the resort fees paid.

Staff was friendly, Hotel expectation down the drain. I was expecting my room to be cleaned, but unfortunately it was not. There was someones snot on the wall of the shower...need I say more! I am a hilton member and regardless that the this is a three star hotel I have never had a bad experience and have enjoyed prior stays. Unfortunately this experience killed it for me.

The hotel staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Offered cookie and water at checkin. Room was clean and stocked. However, the air conditioning was broke. It came on, but never cooled room off. I left door open as there was a breeze. Also no car chargers at this site so I had to charge my car at the local casino.

I was told I had to pay extra 35 dollars resort fee per day after paid for the four nights stay. This hotel is located at the edge of city, next to the desert. Big sand storm frequently attracts to the whole golf resort. No room service daily unless you call the front desk. Good experience is easy to access to golf and have fun. Good view of golf court and snow mountain.

I was there for Indian Wells so I paid a premium of $500 per night for a 2 Queen bed with a balcony and nice view of the pool and golf green. It was definitely more expensive than the room looked but at this time it was over priced everywhere within 30 minutes of Indian Wells. The front desk lady was different when I checked in and when I left but neither were friendly at all. Didn't say anything except the bare minimum to check me in and out. Nothing like "welcome" or "did you enjoy your stay?" The shower looked old. The balcony only had 1 chair with the coffee table while some balconies had 2.

You have such a beautiful resort we have stayed many times in the last 7 years. But since it has become a pet friendly resort it has gone downhill. We woke up every morning to the smell in the hall of animals. similar to that of a wet dog. We were on the third floor The outside main entrance is unique and we have enjoyed using it when waiting for family, but it also smells of animal waste now. We have loved the Double Tree. It was our go to place when staying in Cathedral City, where we have family. But we may have look further for lodging.

Carpet in room was not vacuumed. Shower curtain had mold. Tub caulking was in terrible shape. Hallway carpet also not vacuumed. Carpet stain about a foot big outside room door.

The front desk personnel were wonderful at check in. The room was dated, and felt old. Wonderful views and property but unfortunately, the room decor and feel of old musty room made it feel bad. Great for the budget conscious golfer.

Our room was missing half of our black out blind and it took 2 days to get that semi straightened out. Front desk staff and catering staff were great and we really enjoyed the Super Bowl party—Chris was a great host!! Pool and hot tub were also very nice.

My Wife and I always enjoy our stay here at the Double Tree. It's our favorite location. Staff is always very welcoming & the property is located in a tranquil location overviewing the golf course. We love this place.

We have stayed here before and each time the stay is worse and will probably not be back. We were there for 5 days 4 nights, couldn’t get a room refresh or cleaning even after calling many times. Trash cans overflowing in hallways made it hard for us to remove trash from our room. Sink didn’t drain, tub wouldn’t fill as drain broken. Told restaurant was open but wasn’t, ordered food at bar to take back to room and order was missing items…

The hotel was once very lovely, but the building is now in need of a total update and sprucing up. It is definitely tired. The upkeep of the rooms, the interior hallways, elevators, furniture, etc. all needs replacing. Maid service is only on request and even then, they did not show up even after we requested it at the desk. The grounds are beautiful, as is the setting and the views.

The music for the pool area was on in the early hours ie 5am. Not good to be woken by wailing sounds at that time. Complained about it the first night and the front desk arranged for it to be silenced. Happened again the next morning.
No EV charging station. Come on, get with it the world is going electric.

This is the second time that happens when I am using hotel.com/Expedia. When I checked in online, the hotel charged my card and when I spoke with the front desk, her name was Mila. She stated because they did not see the rsvp was paid. She released the funds after they took it out from my credit card.
When I checked in, the front desk guy was not very friendly, it looks like he was extremely exhausted. He greeted me with how can I help you?… and when I stated my issues, didn’t even apologize or showing any type of remorse toward my issue. Now the hotel held $310 from my credit card.
Otherwise the hotel is decent, had a great view of the golf course. Has the buffet breakfast, they were ok. Nothing special about it.
